I never leave reviews, but felt compelled to write..I swore after the last rude encounter with the man who runs the paint department I would never go back. But against my better judgement I went back today to get a refill of the paint I previously bought. The man (older man with beard) besides not being helpful was condescending and rude . I will never return.. I don’t know who he is, but I would not employ someone who is just plain mean. Disappointing considering it seems like a nice store otherwise.

Stopped in the other day trying to get a paint match with a small sample. First two guys told me they couldnt do it, but I knew a friend who had a similar sized piece get one done here. I asked a man named Hugh, who was extremely helpful and brought out the color cards and looked with me to find the closest match. And when we found the one we thought was best, he said there was a pre made container already out there, it was the last one they had, but he ran and grabbed it.Thanks Hugh!

The decorating department is fantastic .Helped with all my window treatment selections .We are completely satisfied .

Was able to match the paint on a piece of cedar shingle. Was able to tell us how eliminate streaks on metal surface by adding a little mineral spirits to the paint.

Excellent paint store with knowledgeable staff. Often need to wait for help but worth the wait.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I especially love the design department. Theyve helped me choose colors several times and are very patient when I look at wallpaper for hours. My only complaint about the store is that they need to more clearly and accurately list their prices on the products.

Standing in line while I write this review... The staff is AWFUL. Rude, dismissive, condescending... I could go on. I have avoided talking to anyone thus far but have watched the men in the paint department hem and haw over every interaction with a customer. I guess that assuming people could do their job without appearing to be in physical pain was my mistake.

Better place to get your best paint for your projects....

It is hard to believe that a store could exist with this attitude. Most of the people in the paint department could care less whether you buy any paint or not. They are not helpful and basically rude and arrogant. In contract, the decorators could not be nicer and more helpful. It is time to replace the entire staff in the paint area and sales will probably double. Other Ricciardi stores are generally very helpful.

Very unpleasant experience to deal with guy in paint. Very impatient and unhappy person with bad attitude. I Had to go back twice to get my paint can colors fixed. Paying over $45 a gallon and I have to ask him to put the paint on the shaker. No mixing sticks given either. I try to support local businesses and this is the help I get? No thanks.

Probably the worst customer service experience I’ve encountered in years. I went into the business expected that someone would be helpful and guide and explain to me what the different paint types were since this really isn’t my area of knowledge. The employee who ‘assisted’ me was so impatient and managed to be uber rude all at the same time. I wanted to actually laugh out loud because I couldn’t believe what he was doing and saying. He couldn’t wait to get me out the door. Nevertheless, I got what I needed and spent nearly $700. I needed the paint! But I will no longer use this Ricciardi paint store. Deplorable.
