The only store we get produce at! It is local, organic, and SO SO fresh. The COOP offers sustainable, healthy options for everyone. With great discount programs and events this place is a true asset to Moscow! Try their fresh baked gluten free bread- youll never go back to those grocery store loaves.

Beautiful store and has some unique products that keep me shopping. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. Produce is hit or miss but generally fair and I understand the difficulty of moving organic perishables. They are a strong community supporter and do facilitate the sales of many local farm products amongst other things. The deli food has really taken a dive in the last couple of years. I used to go here for lunch all the time and now I’ve finally given up. Many of the great lunch and dinner items have been removed (no idea why). Quality has taken a huge hit - my kids don’t even want it anymore. The love seems to be gone in the deli area. The bakery items used to be delicious and fairly priced for all organic products - now the prices are astronomical even for people who make a good living. The quality has slid in this area too. I hardly recognize most of the staff anymore - I used to enjoy chatting with the bakers; they had some very knowledgeable staff at one point. $11 for a dozen cookies and $7 for a loaf of French bread is a bit much. Parisian prices. The meat counter has lost some vigor. It’s now $5 for a single sausage. They are delicious sausages but spending $25 on one facet of dinner is again a bit over the top. It used to be far more reasonable. The meat across the board is very very expensive comparatively speaking.I’ll always have faith in this store - I just hope they can figure it out before a Whole Foods comes to our area. If they weren’t cornering the market I’d likely explore elsewhere.

The selection of locally grown, fresh fruit, vegetables and other foods is great! The selection for various items is very good and the customer service is average for a local business. They do not just sell food though, they also have hand crafted products and various goods. I will say many of the products are a bit pricey, most likely because they are coming from a third party. If you want quality food though, you cant choose better.

Their sign is a lie. It says they welcome everyone, but they threw my sister in law out because she was unmasked for a valid reason. Moscow Food Coop will never get my business again, nor will they ever have the privilege of selling my products, even though I would have considered it at one time.

Its amazing that a company can afford for its employees to be disrespectful to who they have considered different politically or socially. Those are children at work there, and the last thing adults and serious people need while theyre grabbing grocerys, is some college child, virtue signaling their incompetent foundation of beliefs. Lets just keep about clean, local food Co-op.

Amazing amazing market! To be honest, I’m no natural organic type of person, but I love the Co-op!!! Would regularly stop on my way through Moscow for a tasty treat and dinner. The sandwiches are always realizable and great, and the rotating menu which kind souls bring in is usually interesting and tasty. Go Saturday’s before noon for some supreme and awesome pulled pork. Additionally, they have a great selection of craft beer here and a large case of just 12oz cans and 22oz bottles. For a cheap $2-3 per can it is very affordable to try man different beers. They have a fantastic selection of organic and fair trade foods. Some of their prices are much higher than at other grocery stores that carry the same thing, but not always. Their bakery and deli foods are delicious. Watch the ingredient list carefully because they only use organic sugar in roughly half the items. Sometimes their cupcakes are superb and other times they taste like dry muffins.

I am not sure about other products. But the gluten free prices made me walk right out of the store. Gluten free prices are more than double from wheat based products. Why are people that need to shop for gluten free food get penalized with higher prices. I shop for gluten free because I have problems with wheat bothering my digestive system. Dont think my wallet will let me shop at coop again.

Long time member and over the years our co op has declined in competitive pricing as well as quality/healthy deli options. Youd be better off with any fast food chain rather than the filler (bread, pasta, chicken scratch) that they serve here. And it used to taste excellent. Whoever manages the deli now needs to have their taste buds examined. And if you burn a pizza, which is an almost every Friday occurrence, have the common sense to not try selling it to your members. The only thing holding this co op together is the quality fresh veggies, eggs, meat and dairy offered thanks to the surrounding community growers and producers. And the pizza pictured was not only burnt but somehow had soggy/mushy crust reminsent of sour milk soaked styrofoam with a hint of char. Mmmmm, the kind of food I devour when I hate myself. Makes me contemplate phycological evaluation with the amount of bites taken.

The best place to get quality groceries in Moscow. Lots of organic and local options are the highlights. Good coffee bar and - best of all - really nice people to help you. You dont have to be a member, but you get some pretty good deals for your $10 per year, so its worth it. If you live in Moscow, try it out. It wont be your only store, but its great for high quality - and, yes, reasonably priced for what you get - food.

My friend (who is a person of color) was recently hired there and was told that she was probably a “diversity hire”, whatever that means, she received little to no training. 0/10 would NOT recommend. If you’re a poc looking for a job, please look elsewhere since you’ll probably just be hired to “show diversity” within the company. I would rate this place 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me :-)

I enjoy spending time at the co-op doing homework, as they have wifi, a coffee bar, and a down-to-earth ambiance. Furthermore, the staff are generally friendly and happy to answer questions about the store and its products.A couple qualms I have with this establishment, however, include expensive gluten-free options, and a soup bar that is seemingly always running short on fresh soup. Dont get me wrong; the soup here is usually tasty (they tend to use coconut milk in a lot of their soup recipes, though, which I am not a fan of), and they nearly always have a vegetarian option. However, there have been multiple occasions where most (or all) of the soups are practically gone. A bit annoying.Additionally, the prices between the downtown and campus locations do not seem to be equivalent, which is somewhat bothersome. Just my two cents.

Ive been an owner for 4 years now. I really enjoy the Co-op. The parking situation can be iffy, especially during the lunch rush. The hot food bar is sometimes running low by the time Im there on my break. Some items are a little pricey but the quality is always good. The employees are also great.

Fantastic selection of environmentally conscious products and delicious healthy foods. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner - they have hot and healthy foods for you. Free water with cups is a really cool addition, and the new kombucha taps are delicious and have plenty of different flavors. Lack of seating during lunch hours, so watch out for that. But other than the seating - the coop is perfect for pretty much everything.

Love the co-op! We cant shop here for our everyday needs due to it being pricey (as with all health foods stores) but they carry a lot of great items. We particularly love the uncured bacon and house-made sausage/bratwurst. We also love that they sell craft beer and cider individually so that we can try different brews without committing to an entire pack. I can buy one of my favorite stouts here (Old Rasputin) at a reasonable price! And if you like bread - try the salted french. They even get the baklava right, and thats a very difficult pastry to bake well!

Why not visit the Co-op? Ive been going here since high school for a mixture of things anywhere from a small can of hard to find soda to organic cheeses and soap. You can become a member which is helpful for long term shoppers. The food court is nice with a lot of options depending on what time you visit. The parking is full a lot of the time so be prepared to park on the street on a busy day. Prices are high but most of their products are organic or all natural. They source lots of items locally which is a positive for people looking to support the local community. Its also just a nice place to hang out and meet with like minded people.

The coop used to be great. And if you are going for groceries they still are. But the hot bar and cold bar have been lacking for a while now.
