Sorry to say but the age of the book store is over for Books a million, looked like a collection of one or more authors from different genre, more geared towards children with the majority of the store layout. Unless it was an anime or a movie/TV series good luck finding classic literature.

The staff was very helpful. There was a wide assortment of products to choose from. I enjoyed my time and they had what I was looking for and then some.

Staff were helpful and friendly with a smile. Place was clean and well organized. Shelves seemed stocked. Well lit with easy walkways. Questions were answered well when asked to see if they had a book. Staff also took us to where the book we wanted was and did not seem to be aggravated. Good job.

Can never find what Im looking for so I have to ask. And then they dont have what Im looking for. Still has a wide selection but I prefer to do shopping at other places.

Always love shopping their clearance shelves, lots of hidden treasures for half if not more off the cover price!

Very clean, neat, and overall seemingly well kept up with. My wife found many books she was interested here. Even found a rare boardgame that was much cheaper than anywhere else online!

I havent been to an actual bookstore in quiet some time. Throughly enjoyed my visit. Store was well stocked, very clean and staff very knowledgeable. I use to be a trainer for Borders and would give this location a 10.

I love BAM. They have great deals especially if youre in the millionaires club. Better sales versus the other book stores. Right now they have a summer sale going on where you buy 2 books and get the 3rd book for free on selected titles.

If not for the books being out of place i would of given it 5 stars. It wasnt awful but the books were in the correct section just all over the place in those sections

Their selection is not what it used to be, but they have increased the stock of toys and collectibles as well as manga. The one downside is they are pretty relentless in pitching their membership for you to buy to the point where they may end up making an error while ringing you up.

I couldve spent hours in there. TONS of books. They also have puzzles, games, snacks

OMG! First time I been was today! Had things in there I wouldnt have even thought they would of had. Got me a cute key chain that was on sale and my favorite candy SOUR SPAGHETTI man I pay almost three dollars at gas stations and tobacco outlit! I paid A DOLLAR here and I was shocked and fell in love. Definitely coming back for sure.

I want to say first that they have a good variety and selection of books. They also have restrooms that are kept clean. Where we part ways is at the rest. The music playing overhead is loud and was distracting as I tried to read the book covers. There is no sitting area and no food court but the staff are very friendly. Its not a cozy, buy some coffee, sit down and read, kinda place. You come in, do your business and go. Too bad.

I really just ended up going in there to meet my childs mother to pick up my daughter but ended up buying a bunch of stuff. They have good clearance when it happens. I really liked the entire tables of classic horror novels and short stories.

This book store looks bare bones from the outside and in. But It has all the essentials you need for a books a million and is pretty well stocked on titles. I reccomend.

This place is nice and comfortable and gives off a super good vibe!! just ask an employee for a book you are looking for and I am sure they would help :) along with books they have fun little trinkets I guess could call them and toys! for a nice relaxing shop or for some school necessities I reccomend you go here

The first Friday of every month at 10:00AM there is a story time and puppet show. The ladies who put it on are the ladies from Linebaugh Public Library who do the story time over there. They are my daughters favorite! They also sing a song and do a craft.The store itself is spacious and entertaining. The basically have a tiny toy store inside filled with every toy you could imagine a kid could want. My two year old spend a good amount of time staring at everything. I always love the unique objects you can find at book store and Books A Million did not disappoint!As far as books go they are well stocked with easy to find labeled sections. They have a vast variety and a wide range of authors.We will be back!

Fun store. Lots of really cool things, tons of books, knickknacks, and learning opportunities. A little expensive, but I suppose thats to be expected. I always have fun when I go there. I spend probably an hour or more whenever I go in there 😁😁 Oh!! They also have comics in there as well which is awesome.

Not sure if they had a million books per se... I mean I was really excited to see a million books. Whatever its cool. It should be named it books-a-hundred thousand. Thats just me...

My experiences here have always been great. They have a lot of nice collectibles and toys and some interesting books. Ive always had excellent customer service with them, on the phone and in person. I highly recommend. They also do military discounts.

I miss the mall connection they used to have. Now the only entry is from outside.It seems smaller now but the lady working there told me they actually carry more inventory on the new store but the square footage is less.They still have neat stuff and the staff is always helpful. Very seldom do I leave empty handed. :)

One of my favorite stores! No more coffee shop since the move though.They do frown upon me reclassifying their books....... not my fault they keep putting the bibles in the wrong section.

The store was nice and clean. Sections are well defined and neat. The store could do with alphabetizing exercise, but that can be typical of many book stores. They have pop culture sections that make it easy to buy gifts for kids, teenagers, or even nostalgic adults.

Well as a librarian and I do love to browse a bookstore and this particular Books-A-Million always has the latest books as well as various souvenir type book themed items. Since the stores remodel the selection has been excellent. It is one of the few places with such a large selection in Murfreesboro.

All the staff was wonderful!

I went Sunday with my oldest, to find a book she needed for school. The two employees working were not helpful at all and very rude! The guy told her they have it and it was in the back and walked away! The girl just said nope, dont have it. We took our business to Barnes and Noble.

Since moving from their original location their selection is a joke. Three different occasions I have searched for a book with no luck.

Rude CashierFamily and I went to look around the bookstore and possibly purchase books. I inquired about the store sales and what not a nod the cashier only wanted to talk about how sales are for members only. Her vibe was very negative. She acted like she didnt want to help us. Its cool. I decided to continue ordering books from Amazon where one doesnt have to be a member to get a great price.

I love books and the staff here was very friendly when we came here. They asked if we needed anything and werent pushy at all.

This is my favorite place to buy books or presents for family. They have a large varity of toys for my little siblings(were all nerdy) so we are huge fans of so many kinds of tv shows and movies so its perfect. I love that they sell manga and anime stuff that i cant buy anywhere else. This place is amazing!

Dont care for the store as a whole any more. Ive only been to this location, but not once have I had a pleasant shopping experience. When I was sold my membership the guy was deliberately misleading about its cost. He told me it only cost $5. Well that turned out he charged me the whole $25 it normally cost, gave me a $10 BAM gift card and a discount off my purchase. That was the first of many deceptions. Every time I went in the store to use this membership I was told the exact opposite of all the things they tell you when you join. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME- they give you a MILLION excuses about why you cant use the very thing you PAID money to use, (STACKABLE COUPONS) the way they advertised it. At one point they were not even AWARE of what the coupons actually say and even with very comprehensible print in front of them still did not understand how they were short changing me out of my membership benefits by ignoring what the coupon literally said. They will make up what they think it says instead. Each time I go I have to have the manager either complete the transaction herself or redo one someone screwed up while lying about what they are doing (they tell you they are giving you all the applicable membership discounts but dont!) It is infuriating! I have never seen a company work so hard to cheat paying members! I appreciate how helpful the manager is when called but I will not be renewing or shopping this store ever again.

Okay my visit was horrible, I didn’t get what I intended to get. I had a coupon from Books A Million and they won’t accept it. So I was like “no thanks goodbye” and the staff were horrible and so rude. Paying for a member ship is 25 dollars also so. Never going there resorting to going to Barnes and Nobles, a better store than booksamillion

It has an amazing selection of all types of books and other miscellaneous items, but unfortunately is incredibly pricy. I doubt you could find anything in the store, regardless of actual value or size, that is less than ten dollars. Besides a few small knick knacks that you can find for way less at any other store, everything is guaranteed to empty your pockets. The prices are atrocious, and I would harshly reconsider shopping here.

Usually love coming in but sunday I had a different experience. Came in with my boyfriend and his mother and grandfather and I dont think the employees knew we came together. When our grandfather walked by an employee that he remembered from our previous visit he said hi to him and asked how he was and the employee responded that he was good. I was nearby looking at a display and heard the employee walk by me with another employee and say no one should be that nice. The other employee said something along the lines of thats so weird. My boyfriends grandfather is one of the sweetest men Ive ever met at almost 80 years old and it was frustrating to me to hear someone say an ill word about him. Im in customer service so I get that everyone has a bad day, but its common knowledge that you dont talk about customers on the floor or something like this could happen. You shouldnt talk Ill about someone at all honestly. Especially if they were just being nice.
