Dont bother. Inventory is non existent. Go across the street to textbook brokers.

I just love when a bookstore does not inform you that a book/access card is back ordered, yet still list it as in stock on their website. Oh, and because its custom, you cant get it anywhere else! Its not like i paid $200+ dollars for those two things that they cannot even notify me are out of stock of, and theyre fooling other people into buying it by listing it as in stock!

Shipped a book back to their store months prior to getting billed for the same book. Apparently they had lost it and didn’t notify me before the charge was made on my account. I had to read my bank statement BEFORE I knew they had charged me. At least give your customers some notice!!! I had to provide shipping info and receipt to prove that I had even sent the book back. Luckily I did get refunded at the end of all of it, but I will not be purchasing books from them again.

I placed an online order, it has been a week and nothing has been shipped, I called just wondering for a time frame, very rude customer service, I canceled my order and will find my books elsewhere.

If you ever wondered how expensive school supplies can get, this place has your answer. The staff range from super friendly and helpful to utterly disinterested and clueless.

Really Nice

Its a nice place. Its clean and pretty well spaced out between isles and merchandise. They have a lot of different things. Most things seem pretty over priced... but I kind of expected that. They have multiple cashiers usually and you can get in and out pretty quickly. It is inside the Student Union building.

It has a wide variety of books but the requester will cheat you out of a fair price. A 2 x 3 box of Mike and Ikes were 6 dollars and I had to give it up in order to buy the books I wanted. When you look at the receipt, they were only. 25 cents and had a 25% off on them. Do not go😡

I go MTSU as a freshman, and have to say that the Philips bookstore is amazingly useful for students who need something as soon as possible, the prices are a little higher, but the convince is worth the extra, although around 11:00am - 12:00 they get really busy, and its hard to get in there, but that mostly happens in the beginning of the year, when everyone is getting everything they need.

I mean its a campus book store. You really dont go there for books and Even if you wanted a shirt/hoodie order it a size up because a thicc girl like me aint gonna fit into there really small sizes (I put a large on and it felt like a small) so if youre not anorexic probably need to order an XXL.

Nice service and very convenient considering its on campus, but extremely overpriced, which isnt very friendly to students. I would recommend just going to a different company like Textbook Brokers (has a couple locations within walking distance of campus) or a website/app like Amazon or Chumz. Still, cant beat the Bookstore when its 5 minutes before class and you need a scantron without wanting to be *that kid* who asks the class if someone has an extra.

Book department is helpful, but if youre trying to call them for something, good luck. I know for a fact the girls there hate answering the phone and try to avoid it as much as possible. Called them once from in the store to see if one of the four would answer and none would. I called three times and it wasnt busy at all. If you need something, might as well go in person if you can. Over priced too so if you need something quick, be prepared. I recommend textbook brokers or amazon.

The book store is very nice lmy only complaint is that it is very expensive. The bookstore is located on MTSU campus in the student union on the first floor. There is a lot of MTSU gear and college books. However for books I would check textbook brokers they are a bit cheaper and also sell MTSU clothes. MTSU clothes can come from walmart or anywhere though I would not spend $60 ish for a jacket.

Way over priced. Only get merchandise there if you have too, otherwise rent from textbook broker or search amazon. Students can get amazon prime for $50 a year, which includes 2 day shipping for most books. Well worth the money.

Terrible to deal with and very petty, horrible pay policy theyll take you for as much as they can if youre late, if you dont pay theyll immediately send your case to a debt collector who will threaten to sue you! If you have a choice dont shop here the entire store is over priced garbage.

Great for last minute school supplies for the local college students, books are marked-up.

They have a monopoly on some of the books I had to purchase. Convenient, but of course expensive.
