(Also an African American) Th approach was more of a let me “help my people” type conversation. It was my first time getting a car by myself. I have put more money into this car. Because of all the customized parts that were put on by the previous owner. All the way down to the tires, headlights, gas cap, etc. I’ve had to pay for more installations on the car to get it back to factory installs. I fault City Auto on even putting this car on their lot. Knowing it had all of the additional customized parts. Most of which are aftermarket. At the time, when I purchased. I did not know most of these things or to even look for them when buying. Young buyers just beware. Take someone with you before buying.

This dealership has well trained friendly personnel. The purchase process was efficient and quick. I was in and out in two and one half hours, with a trade-in. They did not waste one second of my time. It was reassuring to know they are part of a multi-location and diversified company. Highly recommend.

We bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from City Auto. We could not be happier with the entire experience. Trace was our sales person. He was very helpful. He kept in constant communication and got everything going while I was at work. By the time I got there, I just needed a test drive and sign the papers. Jackson in finance was quick and got me out in very good time. The car is in excellent condition, no complaints at all. Definitely recommend Trace and City Auto.

Would not recommend dealing with these people. Nothing but bad experience and a company who can’t stand behind the customers and their vehicles. Was sold vehicle with a title hiccup. So traded in for another truck which was 2 years older for a high cost. Tried adding in negative equity for something not my fault. Truck that was got second time around was a diesel and found out has a cylinder down and low compression on another. Ford of Shelbyville said so and as well as a mechanic on site. Would not replace engine under warranty as saying it still ran. Dealership turned around and listed truck back out for sale with knowingly having an issue. Was not able to find another vehicle so was forced to take back original truck and still has a title hiccup and was told was on site when got again. Wanted to just cut ties and pay whatever to get out of them and take my business elsewhere but they would not. If I was you, go to a more reputable dealer who stands behind the customers and not treat you such as this company to make money off you.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! They don’t want to waste time with you unless they know for sure a deal is going on.My experience with these people was horrible. Not because of any denial on purchasing a vehicle but because the shady act they play.Trace and Mr. Wiles both lie through their teeth. They didn’t want to talk to me anymore. They kept me hanging for a week only just to say my income isn’t verifiable but any bank statement is proof of income.I wasted a week reaching out to them because they wouldn’t EVER get back with me.The first day when I wasn’t a number before I came in person they blew me uppppp but then they decided I wasn’t worth their effort so kept putting me off. I was told there are two lenders interested in my loan then he said they aren’t interested anymore.Go to carmax or somewhere else. The professionalism is much better.

The entire process was smooth and between Kent, Jordan and Richard who went over paperwork, everything was communicated very well and I didn’t at any time believe I was bein pushed to buy anything I didn’t want. Really bad experience with city auto murfreesboro tn I will never ever buy a car on this dealership they don’t inspect the cars they sell to people once you buy the car a lot of problem star to pop up and you have to deal with the repairs I bought my 2nd car in city auto murfreesboro the 1st was ok but the 2nd wasn’t, I pays almost $20.000 cash they gave me the car with out engine oil was leaking bad and the trunk had like 2 inches of water smell really bad well I did return it they gave me an other car the brake pads really damaged and rotors all rusty and scratch I told them about it and one of the lady said still good my car is in the same condition I said wooow!!! So the sales man drove this car and said ok we going to fix took an other 2 days in the shop they called me is ready,, surprise the touch screen doesn’t work 😖they send me to Chevy dealer to repair the screen ok I went to Chevy had the new part and be ready in one day so the salesman call them to cancel the repair because was to expensive and city auto can do cheaper 😕after one week city auto repair the screen but is not new maybe they bought it in a junk yard, after two or three weeks of headaches and stress I have my daughter’s car I will never recommend this dealer to anyone because this is the worst experience I been had buying cars from dealers so I done with them I’m just sharing my experience with city auto, the manager called me asking if I was happy with the car I told her not because a lot of problems she said she will find out what happened and call me back, we’ll I’m still waiting for her call

Probably the easiest and quickest experience ever, buying a car! We weren’t overrun with sales people, and Trace was a really nice guy and easy to speak with. The only downside was they didn’t have a large selection of vehicle I was interested in, but they supposed to have a large shipment coming soon. Overall, I’ll probably head that was again when I need to make another purchase.

I would not recommend this car dealership. Talk to a salesman about trading in my vehicle to buy 2. One for me and one for my son. Their trade in offer was $2000 and to top it, they have a one year older exactly like mine and are asking $8000 for theirs. So they are gonna try and make $6000 off my vehicle.After a little more homework, the 2 vehicles that I was looking at are both over priced by $2500 on each one.I would definitely shop somewhere else.Once they read this, they will respond with a Sorry and please call the manager message.All I can say is, the employees are a reflection of their manager. I cant even begin to tell you what a breath of fresh air it was to work with Stephanie and Jackson. Within 2 weeks, I had two very discouraging dealings with 2 different dealerships. I found City Motors online with the exact car (convertible) I wanted, sent in a request to be contacted, was contacted by Stephanie and had pre-approval going within the hour! Just a few more hours later and I had a quote for my trade and approval for the loan. I live over 3 1/2 hours away and was so overwhelmed with the customer service that was provided and that all I had to do was drive there, test drive the car, sign some papers and it was done! The car I purchased was in excellent condition, and with several weeks of summer left... you know Ill be on the road with the top down. It is honestly the most fun I have ever had with a vehicle.
