I am thankful for the opportunity to post something grateful about the pharmacy staff at 607 south east Broadway in Murfreesboro TN. They are patient, kind, and go out of their way to accommodate my needs I have been going them for 15 years. Thanks!

Staff is usually friendly and helpful. The pharmacy however is either understaffed or they ignore the phone. So many times Ive called and had over 10 min hold time. Hold forever then hung up on. Only major complaint with this location.

Phones are always down when I need another pharmacy or provider to be able to contact them. I wouldnt use them if my insurance didnt make me.

This pharmacy is usually great. However, if the Jamaican pharmacist is in charge, leave and come back another day. The entire pharmacy runs slower and everyone appears to be inadequate.

I have been getting my mothers scripts filled here (from Pain Management) for about 8 years, while i have been a loyal customer to Walgreens. I also go to PM and have noticed in the past 6 months or so that Walgreens had really started to slip. They are either out of my meds, or the person filling my script has a bad attitude. So, this CVS is right up the street from my work and i decided 4 months ago that i didnt need to continue being treated poorly when these people (walgreens) make THOUSANDS of dollars off my insurance company that i pay for out of each and every check that i WORK HARD FOR! So, I decided to go to CVS instead, since i had always been greeted and helped with warmth every time I filled my moms same script. First month was great, just as i had been treated when filling my mothers pain meds the last 8 yrs, 2nd month i went back to Walgreens because thats the area i was in at the time and it was convenient. 3rd month back to CVS, no problems... 4th month (today) i pull up with an additional script that my doctor wants me to add to old script (also a pain med). The pharmacist (white, older lady) immediately comes to the window and says we dont carry this.. so i say okay, well ill drop my other off since i get it filled here every month and she then asks me if my doctor is new. I say no, been going there 4 yrs, but i think maybe the name of it may have changed and then proceeded to tell her the name of the old establishment. She asked me at that time if i could pull out of the drive thru and come inside... i reluctantly agreed, since i was on lunch break and had already been to see my doctor on said lunch break.. so i go inside and the first thing she says to me is we arent going to be able to fill your scripts anymore. I said either of them?. she said yes, you said you get your script filled here every month, i looked and youve been here twice. i didnt take the time to explain to her that my mother gets the same script and ive been getting hers filled there for 8+ years. I just let her continue. She then tells me that my doctor has been flagged in the system. She explains that its most likely because of the name change. So, i remind her that i had come the month before and my doctor wasnt flagged then. So then she blames the other pharmacist who is usually on duty for overlooking the flag in the system. So as she tells me basically that my business is not welcomed there, she makes sure to add I guess you will have to just deal with Walgreens, UNLESS THEY HAVE YOU FLAGGED AND YOU ARENT ALOUD TO GO THERE..... WHAT?? I didnt even respond, I just left. I have never been treated like a junkie the entire time i have taken over my mothers care or needed pain meds, myself. Maybe it is because i have nice clothes, nice car, and am coherent that i dont get treated poorly. Im not sure the reason, but i just had never experienced the kind of disrespect i had heard others complain about in relation to needing help with Chronic Pain... until today. Not only will i NEVER go back to CVS, but the 14 scripts that my mother gets filled there every month... literally over two thousand dollars a month in revenue for CVS will be going some where else, as well. I am appalled by the way she treated me. it seemed personal. I cant figure out why she acted this way, but she treated me worse than Walgreens has EVER treated me. I will GLADLY take my business back there.. and my mothers too.
