Something about Home Depot makes me feel safe and comforted. The smell of the lumber when walking in, the hundreds of light fixtures hanging, all kinds of tools, the wide variety of plants, and overall the resources for any project imaginable. I frequent this Home Depot, usually to pick up orders my dad has placed and wants me to get. The countless number of projects and things we’ve built is due to this fine establishment. This is where I get my wood, lighting, plants, tools, hardware, paint supplies, and everything else home improvement. Recently I went to get new plants to liven up my house and I can say once again I am blown away by the selection. All my plants are good hardy and healthy and I would expect nothing less from the Home Depot. I highly highly recommend coming here for anything related to home improvement.
2021.10.31 In store shopping is typically very good. My online, in store pick up purchase experience was terrible. Some of the associates behind the customer service desk have no clue. My 1 item didnt get pulled until I called 5 hours after placing the order. Then when I arrived to pick it up, the 2 associates couldnt find it. It was right under their nose. This was a time critical purchase: extremely disappointing.
I am basing my 5 star review on 3 major things - good customer service in garden, paint and lumber departments. (I have shopped here for roughly 15 years, for reference)The standout though, and reason for my review, is the paint department. I had given up on color matching a wall in my house after several attempts at different stores. I tried Home Depot 2 of those times, and the second time was the charm. Jamie is a superstar employee, but the others in the crew are very helpful, and from what I saw, hardworking. Jamie has an old school hustle that needs to be appreciated, even if only by my review.As much as we all dog on garbage service around town, when its exceptional, it needs to be pointed out too. I dont know if Jamie is a manager, didnt seem so, but she has leadership skills and an attitude that I hope are being compensated.Home improvement has enough frustrations, so when a stores team recognizes your needs to overcome those frustrations, it brings people back time and again. Big thanks to Jamie & team for getting my paint project back on track. It really means a lot!
Understanding its a home improvement warehouse type store, however feels rather shop worn. With lowes right across the street,feeling much newer an cleaner when running errands.Im not a professional contractor or Gardener so I prefer the feel of Lowes.

To say that it has been 1 thing is an understatement. Even 10 things would be. This store/employees/managers/regionalmanager have been contacted. We’ve been trusting HD to reface cabinets, new flooring, counters and sinks. We paid in full (which should have been the red flag) up front. We were told everything would be done 4-6 weeks from the date we met with the salesman at our home. Here we are 4 months later and things aren’t done. There is a lot to the story…. We’re lied to on a daily basis from installers and/or customer service. I’ve never. I’m so angry. HD has done nothing about banged up door jambs, electric tools dropped on my new wood floor or install mismeasurement making us wait even longer on drawerboxes, go backs etc to the work being completely shoddy! I could have done better. But you must know they needed my money NOW. We even went to a church parking lot to make sure all my credit cards went thru for almost $50k. Things are not done. Communication is poor at best. At least communicate with the customer.My husband is writing a much better email to to Reg. Manager. Funny that we are on a first name basis and he refuses to make anything right. Just shows here’s to nothing. Customer service, our word and trust has gone by the wayside.
First off, I want to say that Home Depot is absolutely amazing and kind hearted employees. I called to ask if they would help with donations for supplies for the families that were affected by the flooding and they went above and beyond to help and donate. They really do care about not only their customers, but also the communities. I will forever be a customer with Home Depot. Thank you guys so much for helping the cause, I could never thank them enough for being a blessing!
Waited 30 min for someone to come and cut some cables, three people come and each time they called someone and no one showed up, and one guy looked me funny, act like he didn’t wanted to help me at all. No customer service, it happened to me several times and that’s why I m finally giving reviews. What a waste of my time.
I went to four stores before I tried Home Depot, Murfreesboro. Michele H. immediately asked if she could help, was courteous and assisted me to the product I was looking for. Great work Michele and thank you for your attention to detail.
Sat in the heat for 20 minutes waiting on their curbside pickup thinking itd be easier. Finally go in, 3 people mostly just standing around. Still took forever to find the bits Id ordered online. They never even tried to bring it outside. If youre not going to bring the stuff outside, dont offer curbside service. If youre going to stop said curbside service at 5:40, then say it stops at 5:40, or 5:30, not advertise 6 and just sit there another 20 minutes. Id have gladly gone inside, but had stuff in the bed I didnt want to leave unattended and also my dog with me. Thats what you get for expecting ANYONE to actually do their job now.
I was given it one star. The only reason I gave three stars is because the guy in electrical and the guy who cuts the wood were helpful, friendly and polite. The woman were lazy, rude and didnt care about the customer! I walked in the store and saw a lady walking toward the electrical Dept. I had yell several times to get her attention! She told it wasnt her Dept and was headed to the back office. I asked the Cashier girl about their six month to 1 yr credit card and she had a guy hand her a paper. She give it to me telling me, Fill out this application! When I got to my Van it was a tool rental paper! She didnt give a Veteran or Senior discount on my $176.00 purchase! I guess they had no respect and love for me because Im a U.S. Military Veteran in an electric wheelchair!

We were able to find, everything very quickly in home depot, by using there store app.deviceJust type in your item that you are looking for . It tells you if it is in stock, the aisle # the location. It was awesome, we were in & out very quickly. Amazing !
I avoid this location at all costs. Andi is not a manager that can resolve issues when their system isnt working (which is all the time) months ago she charged me $600 incorrectly for a return, then her boss Joe refunded me that balance and today was the next time I had another interaction with her and total incompetence. I took my McLaren and sped to the next location in Smyrna, Id rather drive then waste time dealing with this location. There are a few great employees in there but they are the minority...
I just went in to pick up an online order, but the representative that checked me out was very kind and knowledgeable about how to process my order and locate its whereabouts. All the employees I came across in the were very courteous and helpful.
8:00pm 6-4-2021My wife and I visited our local Home Depot to purchase everything needed to remodel a half bathroom. While there we were kindly greeted and very knowledgeably helped by a gentleman named Carl in the plumbing section, he was so outgoing and caring we felt like VIPs with the whole store to our selves. All future new hires need to be modeled from the traits that Carl has because with employees like him you are bound to have a higher rate of sales with repeat customers.THANKS AGAIN CARL, YOU ARE APPRECIATED
I think home Depot needs to ramp up security to pertect the people coming in to buy things they need more security cameras on there parking lot to pertect the working men n women to this state I had over eight hundred dollar in drills stole from me in Antioch off bell road and they was more worried about pertecting them self rather then to help me recover what was stolen off there property management needed to be put under a watching eye to help the customers that need help when stolen from....
Saw a deep freeze in stock online that we wanted. No where to be found on the floor so we asked 2 associates stocking in the area. They glanced over at the display freezers before coming to the conclusion that what we wanted is not in stock. Really? Either update your website or hire people that arent that lazy and will ACTUALLY check the shelves/back to serve the customers that keep you in business. Headed to Lowes

After my experience I wish they’d give me an option to give 0 stars. Came in twice looking for a hammer drill the workers there have no idea what they are selling. Gotta give it to Chris though he tried the first time and than disappeared when I came back they were calling him on the intercom for a good 30 minutes it felt as if I were playing hide and seek walking around looking for him. I decided to get another refund and take my business elsewhere. Will not be returning here for any of my hardware needs. Not sure how you guys hire people here but y’all should change it.
I returned a staple gun one of the scews came off and was lost. I had no issues whatsoever of trying to return it for a replacement Thank You Home Depot for a easy return item. I am so glad you are nothing like Lowes!!!
Called about Sod today, was told they had a brand new shipment in. I drive there pay for it, another customer and myself wait forever because they forgot to send someone out to help. When someone finally made it out he filled my order and I thought it kind of looked sketchy, but what do you do at that point. I go home and it’s completely brown slimy and rotten. Called the store and they said I had to bring it back for a refund when they could just walk outside and Look at the condition of the rest of their sod and see it’s bad, so now I have to load it all back up and take it back. Thanks for Waisting my whole flipping day Home Depot! Do better!
Went in to find a part for a amazon bidet. Associates are quick to the point and know what they are talking about.
Needed to pick up some items and stopped at this store because we happened to be in Murfreesboro. It was late afternoon, and the store was fairly busy with customers, and aisles were full of boxes. They were trying to get stock up on shelves. I wasn’t able to find an employee when I had questions. When I was at the register, the lady was a bit on the “I don’t care” side. She did the bare minimum, and even refused to provide the military discount. When we went to load up, the items we paid for were not available. We would up finding a similar item which was much cheaper. I had to leave my running vehicle, go inside to customer service, wait for about 10 minutes for someone there to help me, and then they made the adjustments. Then I had to go back outside to show my receipt, and load my purchase. The guy that helped us load was nice, which is why I gave two stars. I won’t shop at this store again.
The floor customer service skills are absolutely terrible! No one wants to help you, nor do they know where anything is. In the landscaping section, when I asked for help to find something, they just stare at you and say sorry I dont know where that is (happened 4x). I finally asked someone, well do you know of someone that can help me? The answer was seriously, no. I spent 45 minutes trying to find 1 flower that no one could help me find. One person just pointed to the perennials when I asked, and then a bunch of annuals were in that section so that was not helpful. Seriously, the 5th person I asked I had to literally say, can you just help me look because no one has helped me yet and Ive been here about 40 minutes. She could tell I was annoyed at this point. Sure enough, she went to a completely different section that no one had directed me to and said, yea were sold out.I should not have to ask 5 of your employees to help me find something. I was blown away too on the poor problem solving skills. Youd think if you couldnt help me, youd at least try to find someone who could. I dont expect every employee to know every inch of the store, but at least direct me to someone who can help me. Will not be back to this store!

This is the hardware store to go to and ask questions about what to buy. From our chicken coupe project a couple years ago, the gardens from last year, or the new dishwasher a couple months ago Home Depot has always come through. Good prices and a wide selection of different tools on multiple price point. This place is the best.
Great place, I visit this home Depot frequently on buisness for jobs I do for my customers, they generally have what I need and they work hard to make sure I find what Im looking for, good stock of merchandise, prices are reasonable as most other home improvement store, in my experience, they beat Lowes hands down, the people there are a little rude. Keep up the good work home Depot.

Would post 0 stars if able. Horrible delivery. Ordered a fridge from the store! && spent over $2000. Delivery date came by and nothing came we called and they said they emailed us. They didn’t. Set up another delivery day. That day came and the order was CANCELED. We didn’t want it canceled. We were waiting. 2 weeks after delivery and our house is still fridgeless. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Huge mistake. It’s been a headache just called them and warehouse back and forth. It’s not worth it. Go to Lowe’s or anywhere else to buy delivery items.

The store itself is good The staff is always helpful but often we see them clump together chatting instead of walking around on the floor and doing their job. Parking lot is a nightmare, whoever engineered this parking lot needs to be beat. Lack of foresight that the area will grow around it there are several choke points and with the strip mall in front.. It is poorly laid out and designed.
Good workers and you can find the stuff your looking for fast but its kinda hot in there🙂
Did not have the pipe fitting I was looking for. Needed a metal 1 1/4 to 1 reducer.
It is open on Easter Sunday! WOW! A lot of people a full parking lot and Spring buzz in the air. It was nice to walk around, find what I was looking for and finish shopping. Not a huge line so it was a great experience.

Its home depo. Had everything I needed. Wood was a bit moist, took a minute to find some solid pieces, but its been raining so its to be expected. Overall nice store.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Went to Lowes first because they had what I needed at a cheaper price, but no one came to assist me when I had questions. After hitting the button for assist no one showed up as I waited for 15mins. So they lost out on the sale of an $800 water heater plus additional parts. Went straight to Home Depot and got me what I needed and answered all my questions.
We went to buy our tree today. Im so glad we did. Found a perfect 8-9 ft Fraser. We can always count on Home Depot to have tall, big trees (one year we bought a twelve foot one). This year is no exception. And there was such a friendly, nice man who helped take the tree to the van. I was so grateful. He deserves a Homer 😉

Here all the time and always has what we need. Even when stock was low a few months ago they still were good at keeping a decent amount of material. Customer service always friendly and helpful.
Typical experience of late. Not the best service but certainly not the worst. It is a shame it seems that some of the employees dont seem to be as knowledgeable as they used to be. Good luck at finding an expert at this location after 5 pm.

Rented an hourly van and it looked to have never been cleaned. It was made clear to bring the van back with a full tank, yet when I got a mile down the road, the tank was clearly not full for me. Overall meh experience.

Marisol was extremely helpful and patient for I came in late needing a lot of lumber. I was set up with my tax exempt and loaded with in 45 minutes. She made it easy for a last minute emergency.

Online site tells you correct isle and bay. Someone is always eager to help you. If they send you searching for an item and they are not sure, believe me they will be going the extra mile to check up on you to see if you found it. 😉
Always get expert advice and get the tools and only the tools I need. Thats important because I rely on the experts at Home Depot to treat me right, have never been unhappy in over 20 years. Never been unhappy!!!

Maybe Im confusing the orange with Big Lots because the experience shopping them is the same: Youve got slim chances of finding 2 things: the item your looking for and if you do, any help to get them purchased.This scenario had occurred no fewer than 10 times to me trying to shop this location (#707) and Im going to spend money elsewhere. Repeated requests for help from folks in orange aprons only get you an Aisle and Bay number when youve already been there and the items arent there.If you actually find your items, theres a chance theyre an unchecked return and still packed with dirt (ex: a Milwaukee edger attachment I was about to buy, but looked int it at the register when the box opened on its own). More likely that item will have been opened and is missing parts from other shoppers.I dont prefer using Amazon or online competitors to get my home project supplies but I cant waste anymore time trying to give them my money.Crystal W. I hope you read this and try to figure out a way to turn it around.

I was shopping for a weedeater. There was an older gentleman in the same aisle...he noticed my confusion and helped me find the right one. He didnt work there. I love Home Depot!
The staff was very helpful and courteous in getting the lawn mower we wanted to purchase down off the upper rack using the mechanical equipment. It was done in a timely fashion.
Had an employee tell my child to stop touching things. She never brought this to my attention or said anything to me but thought it was ok to address my little one.. You as an employee need to address only the parent never the child! It’s the parents responsibility to correct their child not yours! ( also he wasn’t messing anything up just looking)

I had pre-selected the materials that I needed for my project online, a day before I wanted to pick them up. I called the Murfreesboro Home Depot store early (around 7 am) this morning and was told that the items were being put together by the in store Product picker to gather my order for me so that I could come in, and pay for and pick up my order. When I got to the store, nothing had been done. I picked every item out myself from the pre-selected order that I had placed online the day before. I was also told at the cash register that someone would help me load the order into my truck. THAT NEVER HAPPENED EITHER. I spent over $5,000.00 on materials, and hours that I needed and I had to do ALL THE WORK MYSELF. So I AM NEVER GOING TO TRUST HOME DEPOT to do what they say they will do.
Needed a 4-prong cord for my dryer, and the spot on the display was empty. A very nice young man named Morgan took the time to find the box with more cords on an upper shelf and restocked the cords. While he was getting a ladder, two other employees asked if we needed help. I used to think the employees at the competition across the street were friendlier, but I am changing my mind.
I will never shop here again.I was a loyal Home Depot customer for many years. My stove stopped working and was desperate to find a new one.The customer service was terrible. I had to go find an employee for help and she was rude.I was informed that they do not carry appliances in stores. You have to order and wait 1-2 or more weeks for delivery. (What do people do in appliance emergencies??!!)I was shocked!I went to Lowes and was pleasantly surprised !! I was greeted and helped immediately. I also left there with new stove!
After waiting for a delivery (ordered March 4th, its now April 15th) Ive had nothing but a headache from the shipping company they used (Estes) After being given the run around all week, I called Home Depot to cancel the order. Since online orders only have a 45 minute cancelation window I have to wait 24-48 hours for a ticket to be addressed and see if I can cancel and get my money back. I took time off work to do a project that cant be done without the actual products.
Love Home Depot. You can find almost anything for different projects, tools etc. Great prices and helpful staff!

You know....I just love Home Depot. Its a construction guy kinda store. No frills, no stuff I dont need to look at. Its really hard just to walk in with a list and walk out. You gotta look around at all the latest tool! People are helpful if you dont know what you are doing. Im doing a plumbing repair this weekend so I expect to make at least two more visits!

Employees broke the back seat trim in my suv when loading my grill that I requested to be in the box, not built. They shoved it into my suv and closed the back hatch scratching it. Its been a few weeks and nobody has followed up on my claim. Manager Joe has yet to return any phone calls.

We got some of what we came for. A couple of things we were looking for they either didnt have to begin with or they were out if stock. There was a very cute kitty in the garden center. Looks like she may be their mascot, maybe was a stray they decided to help and take care of. Thats aces in my book! Im a huge animal lover!! We got a good deal on mulch which was the primary reason for the visit. Very helpful staff.
