I was stranded yesterday due to my starter had decided to go out in my vehicle. I had used TSA previously for other work so that is where I had my vehicle towed to yesterday. I had called before hand to see if Kevan could do the work and he said sure bring it on in and I would be glad to get it done for you. I get there and he tells me it will either be late Friday night before he calls me when he determines what the problem is or first thing Saturday morning. I was fine with that and told him it was the starter. The tow truck guy also said it was the starter. Kevan said he would have to dig into it and do his own diagnostic test to see if that was for sure the problem. I expressed I needed my vehicle back as soon as possible because that was my only means of transportation and that I had to be a work on Monday. I waited for a call both last night and this morning and nothing. I called twice and did not receive a call back until 2pm on a Saturday! In this call he said well it’s the starter and he was not able to get one Friday nor today. It will be either Monday or Tuesday. I am furious at this point because he should have at least called this morning to let me know he was unable to do the job. I then had to scramble around to one find a place that was still open this afternoon and two I had to get it towed to the new place. He told me he should charge me something for him having to have a helper push it into the shop and his diagnostic test he did. I told him I TOLD YOU it was the starter yesterday! I told him I didn’t think I should be charged for anything since he did not fix my issue in the first place. All he did was tell me what was wrong after I had told him what was wrong yesterday. He has me a bill for $42.40. I am livid because he literally did nothing and wanted me to pay him. He would not give me my keys until I paid him $40 and said we would call it even and he would not charge me tax! This is not how you do business and I was a repeat customer for him! I WILL NOT go back to him and will warn anyone I know in Murray not to go to him! I had to pay him, pay the tow truck driver to come back and pick my truck up, and then paid the new place to fix my truck. The tow truck driver deserved his money and the new place who fixed my truck deserved their money, but Kevan did not deserve any money but thought he should get paid too! I’m all about supporting small businesses but will not support this one any longer after today.

We had just moved to Murray, KY when my car needed fixed. For years we used the same mechanic (which I find better since they dont have to guess what another mechanic fixed which costs me more money in unnecessary repairs) but since we moved it was time to search for a new mechanic. We made several phone calls and read every review before deciding on TSA. TSA was wonderful. Very professional, fast, honest, and prices were fair. I will definitely continue using TSA for all future mechanic work.

I took my car in because it had a pull to the passenger side kevin said it will take them a day or two diag the issue when I get a call back he told me the outer tie rod ends and lower ball joints needed to be replaced do to tears in the boots and need an alignment after they were replaced I get another call from saying he could not figure out what was causing the pull. So I had took my car to a buddy who has a 2 post lift and inspected it my self and noticed the lower control arm bushings were completely worn out. If Kevin did a better inspection he would have found the worn control arm bushing and he could have just replaced both lower control arm assemblies with the lower ball joints now I have to spend more money on a 2 ball joints that are already part of the lower control arms due to Kevins horrible diag.

My go to place to get any work done on my car in Murray! Whether it’s all my oil changes or needing to get a new rim and tire put on my car, they get it done for me. Fast and very affordable. Highly recommend TSA Auto Care of Murray!
