Our garage screen was coming out of the track for some unknown reason as we have had it for 1 year and no issues. Shade and shutters sent over one of their installers which was Keagan, he identified the issue, made the appropriate adjustments and now the screen works as intended. I was very pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and how quickly he identified the issue and resolved it. I don’t anticipate any future issues but if I should have one, I am certain S&S will resolve quickly, and hopefully by Kegan.

Both installers, Barry and Billy, were very professional, on time for the appointment and courteous. We appreciated their attention to detail and the explanation as to how to use the remote control device. We love our shades.Thank you.

One of the first things my wife and I had to do when we moved into our new Myrtle Beach home back in August was to get window treatments. We found Shade and Shutter Expo online and decided to check them out. Our in store experience was excellent and we made an appointment for Eric to come to our home to measure. Eric was just wonderful. He was very knowledgable and helpful in steering us through numerous options. We decided on plantation shutters in our kitchen nook, dining room, family room and master bedroom. Shades went into the master bath and home office. Product and installation pricing was fair for the quality we were getting. Now we just had to wait.So fast forward to yesterday, October 23rd. Eric, and his assistant Eric Jr. just left our home after installing the shutters and shades. They look fantastic. With Eric’s direction every decision we made was perfect. We could not be happier with Eric and Shade and Shutter Expo.

I had shutters installed next to my front door to cover the side windows. They provide privacy while still allowing light to come in. The biggest plus is that my dog doesnt bark at every person walking by the house! Im trying to figure out where else I can put shutters in my house.As for the company, they were friendly, professional, great to work with, and I felt like I got what I paid for. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Very professional job with installation and showing how to handle the shutters properly. Checked each one for proper fit and made the required adjustments.After the work was completed and I left the house hours later, I noticed a large oil spot, with numerous small ones in driveway from their truck. I will share pictures with them on Monday.Work was 5 stars but the oil in driveway could have been prevented.

They came to measure the windows and were on time so I did not have to wait any longer. He saw that I had a curved window and explained in detail on what product I should use. I had obtained quotes from two other places, in addition to Shade and Shutter Expo. Shade and Shutter was the lowest estimate, which had me a little concerned. The solar shades for my screen porch were measured, to include a fascia covering. I was told they would be ready in 3 weeks, which they were. The installation was scheduled promptly. I was concerned about fit, as they were custom made, but they fit perfectly and performed every bit as I had hoped. I am very satisfied and would highly recommend them.

From the measurement appointment to the install, everything was top notch about this experience. Eric was patient and thorough in explaining my options and taking measurements. The finished look is just what I was hoping for!

We had a very good experience having our new panels installed. The people who installed them were courteous, friendly, and willing to accommodate any concerns we had, and were efficient before, during, and after installation in their removal of any leftover disposal items. The only negative was that they did not arrive on time as was anticipated, but they did telephone to keep us informed of their progress.

Our plantation shutters were installed today. We cannot say enough on how pleased we are with the install. Barry and Dave were both very respectful and took time installing them. Any questions, we had were answered.

Excellent service with both shopping for solar shades and with their installation. Very happy with product which works really well and inhibits the suns glare in our sunroom so that it doesnt bother my husbands eyes. Highly recommend them and would use them again.

Barry and Timothy did a professional job installing a combination of plantation shutters and nice Hunter Douglas faux blinds. They were very cordial and answered all of our questions. Time was taken to ensure that the blinds were level and hung as they should.Originally Chip helped us in the showroom and later came over to our beach house to measure. Although we did not expect to see him on installation day, because he is so knowledgable, friendly, and therefore busy, we were pleased that he found a few minutes to drop by toward the end of the installation to help finish up.

Update on previous post.Owner Danny and installer Barry came to make 2 finished windows out of the previous mess while we wait for the rest to come in. They did a great job and the shutters look beautiful. Happy so far.

Shade & Shuter Expo installed custom made solar blinds on my outer deck in July 2015.Their pricing was less than Lowes. The blinds are fabulous and do the job they were designed for, which is blocking the sun, keeping the deck much cooler, and you can see through them.I must say that these people were the most professional and punctual people I have ever dealt with.No...I am not a relative.Dont even look anywhere else.

Ordered plantation shutters for several windows on our new home in early June in anticipation of arriving there from out of state in mid-august. Met the measurer at the house, paid a sizable deposit and installation was set for two days before our arrival.We were excited to see our completed home but upon arriving were disappointed to find some windows half done, including one window that wasnt supposed to be done and others with nothing on them. Not one of them installed correctly - they do not close all the way.After calling the next day, our salesperson/measurer came and brought paper temporary shades and promised to make it right.It is now 2 1/2 weeks later and nothing has changed. We still do not have the shutters we ordered 3 months ago and paid a $2000 + deposit for.After calling again to check the status and voicing our displeasure, the owner called us. He informed us that our sales person/measurer no longer works for them and he would send someone over to assess the situation.To be continued...
