We found the real Willy Wonka! Best candy and ice cream store EVER! We got dragon balls, rolled ice cream, dipped cones and candy. It was all wonderful!

Ok Bob (my kids nicknamed you cowboy because of your hat). We will be coming back again next weekend! This place has been my kids favorite place to go every year. The staff is so friendly and amazing. It kinda feels like a cross between Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (because the candy of course) and Disney World (due to how friendly the staff is). We can’t wait to see you guys again.

We went to Sugar Kingdom for ice cream and our group was pleasantly entertained by Tamir, the cashier/server. Despite being short-staffed (he was the only one working in the store) and that there was a line forming behind us, he was friendly, upbeat, witty, and funny. He (and of course our ice cream) made the perfect ending to our night!

I thought this place was better than I Love Sugar. It is smaller but they have so much! Big variety of taffy and decent prices! Very good service also. This is my new favorite candy shop to visit on vaca!

Great place to get just about any candy. Great selection of ice cream and other treats. I would give this location 5 stars had it not been for the 4 staff members serving ice cream that each acted like you the customer were inconveniencimg them, each acted very short and rude after they asked how they could help.

Hours online are wrong. Drove 15 mins out of our way to find the place completely lit up and the open sign flashing at 9:45pm yet the doors were locked and they said they were closed. Unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers time.

Im a grown man with kids, Im not big on candy but I am in ice cream. Me and the family stopped in here tonight for some ice cream. I usually never leave reviews but this place deserves a good one. Very friendly staff and big spoonfuls of samples. They have an ice cream called llama- licious ( i believe) but oh my it was the best ice cream along with the play-do flavor. Highly recommend going here for a sweet treat

Owner fired three girls so he was the only one working when we arrived. Was very busy. Not the problem. He offered everyone a free scoop and gave our friends their ice cream for free. Then proceeded to overcharge my wife by $1 for her ice cream and didn’t give her any extra. Her order was supposed to come with one drizzle and one topping per the menu and he didn’t give her any. “Specialty” cereal infused ice cream tasted really average. Really cruddy experience.

Ice cream is awful- freezer burn on all three flavors. A total bummer since it cost $27 dollars. The service was amazing and very knowledgeable staff. It’s cute inside and clean. Unfortunately, it’s a tourist trap.

I love this store. I came in a group of 8 with my kids and family and Niki served us and she was amazing. You could tell she loved her job and she was full of smiles and laughter! She made us feel at home. She went as far as trying candy with my children to help them find the ones they liked! Her customer service deserves a 5 star as well as the store! Loved meeting her and we will be back! We will start asking for niki! May I add she made the best pineapple too! I highly reccomend!

This was our first time here. The place was nice and clean and the people were very friendly. We filled up our candy bags and Bob made me the pineapple passion which was the best strawberry smoothie Ive ever had. It was beautiful and delicious. We will def make this one of our go-to spots every year.

I went to sugar kingdom yesterday and this lady told my sister a full bag was 6 dollars I went and got a whole bag and went to go check out all the candy was gummies and it was wrapped candy the manager said she couldn’t put nun back we had to pay for it or she was gonna call the police highly suggest DONT GO HERE TO GRT CANDY!!💯💯💯

Doesn’t make sense to me that the cereal ice cream with toppings and drizzle is $1 cheaper than just the cereal ice cream plain. Regardless I was never asked what topping I wanted... probably because it was so busy? (so I didn’t get one!) and charged the more expensive price. It felt too rushed to request the toppings that were missed given the long line.I went with a friend and her ice cream was given to her for free and I was overcharged for mine. Felt pretty much like I was prejudiced against. If a group of friends show up together, you should treat them equally. Not give one a 100% discount and a free scoop, while I got overcharged and then given a 10% discount that dropped it to what it should’ve been in the first place. (Minus the toppings of course) On top of that, the ice cream was not great. Really could’ve used a topping and drizzle... too bad I wasn’t offered it...

What a wonderful store. They have every kind of candy you can possibly think of plus so much more. The store is clean and well maintained. The owner is very knowledgeable in all of his products and takes his time to help you and talk with you. He makes sure you are a happy and satisfied before you leave. I was not impressed with the the customer service. My family and I went about an hour ago (8:30pm something May 18, 2021) and there was no one in the ahop. Then two young ladies came out from the back of the store eating and not wearing masks. She saidwelcome to Sugar Kingdom, with a mouth full of whatever she was eating. My children wanted ice cream but we decided not to.

Visited their new most fun and unbelievable location in Myrtle Beach on Lake Arrowhead Rd toward North Myrtle but in between right before the highway. So central Myrtle Beach area. Worth the visit to see the floor alone and fixtures alone. Like you are in a Candy Land. They have great ice cream with plenty of flavors, gourmet chocolates, all kinds of fudge, snacks, every type of candy you can think of, and even beach souvenirs, sun glasses, toys, bracelets, and more. They even have arcade games, and a kiddie merry-go-round. Family owned and great people. You will find yourself just hanging out having an ice cream looking around. There is not a place like it in Myrtle Beach. Not your typical big box store even though it’s huge. You will be impressed and it will put a smile on your face. First class operation.

Delicious salt water taffy but expensive.

Lady working the counter was EXTREMELY rude. She had dark hair and wore it in a braid. The store has a 10 person capacity, which is fine. But my family had been in the store for close to 5 minutes already and the lady very rudely yelled in my mother in laws face that we had to get out because they were at capacity. I wouldn’t be angry if the lady wasn’t so rude and people That had came in the store AFTER Us were not asked to leave. I confronted the woman about this and she said that she DID tell the people after us that they needed to wait outside but they were still walking around the store? What sense does that make? If you push me out the door and lock it behind me why didn’t that happen to anyone else in the store? Long story short the girl needs to be fired. I work in management and if one of my employees acted like that they would’ve been fired on spot. They will NEVER get my business.

Friendliest store around, welcoming us from the moment we walked in. Spend way too much time shopping for candy and ice cream but never felt rushed.Regular ice cream was as good as any, but the rolled ice cream was a show and delicious, worth a try.

A wonderful experience it is a very clean store with a large variety and excellent ice cream. A lot of detail was put into the making of the store it is very bright and colorful and you can spend a while just viewing it. That owner is extremely helpful and great with the customers as well as a friendly staff. I will definitely be sure to go back my daughter cant wait to go .

The staff is honestly fun to be around, charismatic and genuinely nice. The entire building looks amazing vibrant colors are everywhere. This place is exactly what you were dreaming of as a kid. Not to mention the several different options you can choose from and the presentation is impeccable. I had the new cereal infused ice cream. I choose the cereal and told the gentleman to go with whatever he thought was best. It came out fantastic! Do yourself a favor and go try anything there, I’m sure you’ll be more than satisfied with the result, plus where else have you ever seen a 5 star rating?

From the minute our group walked in, we were greeted with welcomes and smiles. Half of our group were little ones and they had so much fun seeing all the toys and candy, and life size statues of Sponge-bob and Peppa Pig! A must for anyone looking for a sweet time!

Right before leaving myrtle beach my son & I stopped here for the Oreo rolled ice cream and it was delicious. The owner was so sweet. He had a warm smile, positive attitude, great energy and a clean spirit. The store was bright & clean. It was a fun environment and a GREAT experience!! I absolutely loved it. Aside from the variety of treats there was many different toys and souvenirs available for purchase. I rate this place 5 STARS! It’s a must visit if you’re ever in town.

I’ve never had an ice cream experience as unique and enjoyable as that of Sugar Kingdom. My family and I walked through the door to a welcome greeting from one of the owners and was guided through the different and unique ice cream choices. They even had diet friendly choices for a more healthier option. In addition to the amazing ice cream choices the store was filled wall to wall with any candy you can think of as well as various homemade fudge selections. This is a must if you have a sweet tooth and are in the Myrtle Beach area.

Gabriel was great. It was our kids first time in a real candy store, and even though they were busy Gabriel took the time to make a memory with us and get a picture with our kids. They had tons of different candies to choose from and a couple of different types of ice cream bars, but the highlight for me was the fudge. It was honestly some of the best homemade fudge I have ever had. Great place great people and great products. There isn’t a single thing they could do better than what they are currently doing. it was perfect.
