The service department appears to be managed by a high school kid. I’m used to dealing with sketchy people in this space but not typically at the dealership level. Scam artists, money grabbers. Plenty of others places in town to go have your hood opened.
My truck has been there since 9-13-21 nothing been done, nobody returns calls parts or service. This dealer has a long way to go to get better. Thinking of towing truck out. Today 9-17-21
I bought my Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid brand new there in 2018. We decided to take it back there for a trade in, but the sales rep said he was going to have to call us back because the manager had to deliver a vehicle and they were closing and it was an hour till posted closing time. We were in the market for a 2021 Jeep Wrangler and they had a couple on the lot (the 4xe which is what we wanted). So my husband gave him his cell phone and he didn’t bother to call us back. So a week later we drove an hour to get better customer service and were out in 1.5 after two test drives and filling out the papers!
In the past I would not have given the service dept at Hanlees CDJR of Napa 5 stars. That was then this is now. Jimmy in the service dept totally erased my previous experiences with this dealership/service dept. His customer service is A+. He is responsive and gave me the confidence that my truck was going to be taken care of and fixed. I highly recommend Jimmy at Napa Dodge.
Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!! The manager Muhammad held my jeep in his service lot for 3 weeks! Literally did nothing to it but lied to my husband repeatedly about the work being started. All the while we are paying out of pocket for a rental which racked up to 1k only to be told that they do offer loaner vehicles. So we spent 1k we dont actually have for nothing. Money I could have used to buy groceries for my family. Do not take your car here for service. It is a mess. I tried reporting to corporate but nobody answers there either. How convenient.
Service and parts dept. Need help dont return call no update on whats going on with vehicle. Cars been there 3 weeks and they have not received the parts i need.
Dont believe. Wait time to service your car. Give you one hour to one hour and a half. Been here since 8:50am to 11:09am still waiting another 30mins to go. Appointment at 9am. They just started the car at 11am. Dont be give false time of service if cant come thru.
A classic car dealership in all the wrong ways. If you want slick car salesmen who cant answer basic questions this is your place. I inquired about a V8 F150, they told me it towed 5,000lbs, when every V8 truck on the market tows 8-13,000lbs. Needless to say I bought a truck elsewhere, but the google ads for their listings kept showing up in my feed. To top it all off, they raised the price of the truck I was interested in by $2,400 once a new month rolled around. Then they can mark it back down, price reduced!!! Buyer beware!
Dealer is denying a technical service bulletin because my Jeep has a 1.5 lift and aftermarket wheels n tires these guys are a joke not Jeep friendly
Dont bother wasting your time with this dealership. The service department is a joke. Ive never before received such horrific service from a dealer. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
We were given a price of $5000.00 to replace our transfer case in our 2015 Jeep grand with 67k...we were told by Muchamed the tech found metal shavings in transfer case oil, but no replacement oil was on the invoice.Tech also listed a diagnostic road test, but on the invoice the in mileage and out mileage were the same!!!We took car to second shop and was fixed with a transfer control module!!!Problem fixed for $324.00.I requested a call from the General manager!!! Still waiting!!Update 2-5/21 STILL waiting for Mr Nguyen to contact us after providing a detailed report to him as he requested. Next stop is small claims court.
Had two appointments to have my car looked at the dealership canceled the first appointment so I called to set up another appointment and talked about the first appointment and they denied canceling it than i got to the dealership for my second appointment witch i had two people confirmed from the dealership and when I arrived they had no record of me even calling or having any information of me or my car in the computer Will Never Go To This Dealership Again
Liked the new location. Service person was friendly and explained what was going to be done.Wait time normal.Because of rules of virus - bring your own coffee.
Worst dealership ever, will never buy another Dodge RAM vehicle from this company ever again, their customer service and some of the employees attitudes need to change or need to find a different job!! Just Horrible!!
Well do yourself a favor go to another dealership for service or for any thing. The transmission issue I am expecting is a surging between 30 to 45, I have had for over three years that I took it into them to look at last year at 27,000 miles and again at 28,000 miles. Then with COVID-19 I could not take it back in March at 30,000 miles. This issue is still not addressed. My Truck is a 2016 ram 4x4 diesel 2500 that only has 33601.I even took them for a test drive. They say it’s down shifting and normal. So because it’s not significant or drastic to recreate it. There is nothing they can do tell they see a blinking light or a computer to tell them to fix the issue.Customer service is not a concern. No service manager on site. Both Friday and on Monday. I sent several emails. I have called to schedule appointments with no return calls for months before I scheduled an appointment online. So the information I am getting now is last year they just updated for customer ride quality. Not what I was told over the phone. I am truly disappointed in this dealership. Maybe that’s why It looks abandoned, forgotten and a ghost town. I explained you drive a new truck and it would not shift this way or a truck 3 years older then my truck.I recommend just taking your vehicle to another dodge dealership
Working with this dealership was seamless, quick, and very enjoyable. Process was very transparent and I received a great trade in value for my car as well as a great deal on my new Jeep. Would recommend for friends and family looking for a new vehicle.
Sales people are nice. They were understaffed at the time I was there. Showroom need to be updated very old looking and no hand sanitizers anywhere in sight. Bathroom needs a good cleaning and they were out of paper towels to dry your hands
I went into Hanlees to drive a Ram diesel with plans to purchase a truck in Woodland. The only truck Hanlees had on their lot was loaded more then I had budgeted for. Their new manager Jason who started in May of 2020 bent over backwards to make a deal that was too good to say no to! Jason and the salesman Jonathan (who’s also new to the Napa dealership) both made the deal so easy and weren’t pushy at all! I would recommend them to everyone!
Decent dealership, Mohammed is pretty cool.
These people are criminals. Do NOT bring your car here for service--they will remove your license plates and use it to commit robberies throughout the Bay area.
I found Hanlees to be very helpful. I showed with a issue with my key fob. The parts person took time explore options. We tried a few different things. This before we moved to the expense of purchasing a new key fob. I value that effort greatly and appreciate it. I do and would recommend Hanlees.
Great safe and respectful staff..
This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had in a service dept. They dont follow through on orders, they told me there no recalls on my jeep even thought I had a recall notice. The work was not completed in the time frame they scheduled it for. Neither the service dept. nor the general manager returns voice messages and they only answer the phone occasionally. Ill go anywhere else but here from now on.
My experience with this dealership is top notch and extremely professional. I came in after work and had a very fair deal on my trade and quick purchase The whole process took less than 1/2 hour. I had another appointment that evening and had little time. All of the paper work was completed for me the next day, and I was able to come during my lunch to sign and drive off in my new truck ! Erika Castillejos-Morales was my sales consultant and she handled everything in a timely and beyond professional manner. No hidden anything, just straight forward and efficient. The finance manager, Will Duarante was well prepared and made sure I left with plenty of gas in the tank. Thank you again for a seamless purchase.
Never have I EVER gone through an easier or more comfortable car buying experience than I have here. I came in here sick to my stomach, dreading needing to do this (because let’s face it, who wants to deal with any of what comes with buying a vehicle? ESPECIALLY on vacation)But let’s talk about ERIKA. This woman was PHENOMENAL. She’s not the least bit pushy AT ALL, she doesn’t hover AT ALL, she asks what you’re wanting and shows you things that fit the description accurately, and very patiently shows you anything else you might ask about. THEN she bends over backwards to find you ALL the pricing, leasing, buying options out there, and works diligently to get you what works for YOU.Never have I sat at a table on the verge of tears, having to put effort into holding them back, because someone actually got me everything I wanted in the price range I needed.I’d give this place AND Erika 10 stars if I could. THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO SHOP, AND SHE’S WHO YOU WANT TO SEE!!!!Thank you SO MUCH,A VERY happy Jackie :)
I desperately needed a new car. My poor 2001 Saturn had saved me 3 times, but the headliner was deteriorating, bad for asthmatics, and was less than 5,000 miles from 300,000. I already KNEW I wanted a Kia Sportage, for my long legs & disabilities to carry walker. They advertised one and met us Super bowl morning. Every single person there focused on us, to ensure we got the package I wanted, let both of us drive, brought it in shop, (out of rain) so hubby, my lifetime mechanic could check it all over, explained everything and answered ALL our questions, I am a contract reader, so no surprises later, helped us get the special package coating I wanted in & out to protect against against CA Sun/heat, and walk away with HUGE smiles and get home in time for kickoff, the familys thing, I just like the ads.
The service and parts department took care of me even though I was just a drop in adding more stress to their day. They made sure my car was fixed up, and did so politely. Finance and sales were low-pressure, and were able to navigate my questions even though I had a million. Theyre willing to work with you.
Hanlees is under new management, and thought wed give them a try. Very glad we did! We got a good deal on a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck (on Nov. 20, 2016). The sales staff were polite, helpful, and easy to work with...in fact, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I would absolutely shop here again, and highly recommend them. Thank you Chris, Max, and Paul!
I took my truck in and talk to the service department guy. i told him what was going on with my truck. he said we will take care of you, I was told they would call me. A day passed so I called the next day. picked up my truck and they gave me paperwork that said what they had done to it and it turns out they dident do anything to the truck but do the recalls it had and told me I was good to pass smog and charged me 180 for nothing..really bad service will never go there again.
By far the worst dealership I have called the service department about 8 times over the past week trying to schedule an oil change service.I leave voice mail with my name and number never get a call back.
Big mistake trying to get a car service appointment on line. As soon I set up the appointment my email got busted with thousands of junk mails. The worse was at the time of the given appointment the shop was completely empty, workers playing and still they did not honor my appointment, they made me to come back to another day!!
The service center with Vinnie and Doug is very pleasant, While there the wait was very reasonable to get my oil changed. With there fast service and expert help, I recommend everyone with a chrysler or jeep get service at this location! This is my new location to visit since the other dealerships closed down in Fairfield and Vallejo.
In and out.. had the part I needed.. loved that women were there and extremely helpful and educated.. yes, I pulled that card! Will def go back for future parts!
. I had my car towed there because it had been vandalized and needed a new gas tank. After calling constantly for five days to see when it would be ready a sales person from the sales floor told me somebody hit my car in the parking lot. No one ever called me to let me know, . After finding this out I got the runaround my car is still not fixed it is now 10 days later. And no one seems to care. As far as I’m concerned this dealership needs not to be in business
We bought a new Jeep Compass from Hanlees. The salesman, Milton, was top notch. Helpful and friendly and in no way overbearing or pressuring for a sale. After reading all the negative reviews theyve had in the past couple of years, Im hopeful that theyre getting things turned around. I havent had to take my vehicle in for service yet but Im optimistic that this will also be a smooth process.
Purchased a new yukon. Everyone was great. Ask for milt ( Salesman) no b.s. just a straightforward deal. No games. Happy wife happy life. Thanks guys!!!
I will begin by saying Vinny is the man. My wife is a travel nurse out there and I am in Tennessee. I hate when Im not there when something goes wrong with her car. She recently had to have it towed to dealership for repair. Vinny was awesome at keeping in touch with me and letting me know how things were going. Her car was repaired fast and she no longer has any issues. Vinny checked the car out for other possible problems and made sure everything was operating properly.
The service is awesome they go up and beyond to have your vehicle ready for you
They have very friendly staff. The price they gave me for my trade in and the sale of their vehicle was fair. Everything was handled very professionally.
Roger Martinez was awesome and super informative. This place has really turned itself around in customer service. Roger was very communicate in the process and what needed to be done with my vehicle what was covered under warranty as well as what was recommended future maintenance. He also pulled my vehicle around for me as it was raining heavily outside so I wouldnt be soaked in my work suit. I will return for future services. Thank you!
Just moved here from Pennsylvania. Boyfriend came here to have car serviced for AC. It just needed Freon. Right off the bat, they say it’s $190 to see what’s wrong with the AC. 2 hours later! They say it just needed Freon. And it will be $540. JUST FOR PUTTING FREON IN THE CAR! Insane. We could have did that ourselves.. They said these are the prices here in the Bay Area..
I think this place is amazing. I just bought my new jeep and it is so sick. I give this place a 5 star for great pricing and AMAZING employees👍👍👍
STAY AWAY!!! By far the worst dealership Ive ever dealt with. Bought a car from out-of-state and drove it home. Its been 2 1/2 months and still have not received a title. After calling and texting and emailing multiple people, no one will give me any answers at all, and now theyve just stopped answering or returning my calls altogether.Last week I get a call from my insurance company, telling me there is a mismatch on the title that was issued for the vehicle I just claimed to have purchased. Now the car sits in my driveway and I have no way of registering the car!And on top of all that, I now need to retain a lawyer in California...
Leased a vehicle here a few years back. They jerked me around for the better part of a day and ultimately never delivered the vehicle for lease after all of the papers were signed. I give them one star because 0 doesnt seem to be an option.
It was a pleasure to purchase a new Dodge from Hanlees in Napa! The employees are great and the GM AJ was a great guy, very funny! They worked very hard to make sure to meet my needs and I would gladly purchase another Dodge there again. Went above and beyond expectations.
I took my vehicle to the Dodge dealership for a regular oil change, I dont often take the time to write reviews although when you receive great customer care, and are truly greeted with exceptional customer service I feel its worth taking the time. I was completely informed by the service writer, i.e. recalls, campaigns, he inquired if I had any concerns, he looked into those with a smile. I felt welcomed, and relieved that my vehicle was well looked into, the service provided was a quality service, and surprisingly I kinda look forward to the next oil change! Thanks Hanleees!
The woman that ansered for the Parts Department was most efficient and helpful. I ws calling about purchasing a spare tire for my Jeep Renegade, since one was not included with the vehicle and she advised that there is only one left in Roseville and provided the part number and phone number. I appreciate the good service!
They bent over backwards to get us in a nice car they have an amazing new staff there
Do not, I repeat, do not buy a vehicle from anyone but Hanlees Jeep in Napa! Jim went above and beyond to get me an amazing price on an amazing jeep. Thanks for all the support Jim!
The manager should be fired. NO PHONE CALL IS EVER ANSWERED REGARDLESS HOW MANY OPTIONS YOU USE. THE BASICS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE MISSING HERE - TOTALLY ABSENT. TAKE YOUR BUsINESS ELSEWHERE.
Participated in a community event hosted by Hanlees at their new Chrysler location in Napa. Great team and leadership. The cars & trucks are pretty amazing, wishing them success!
Absolutely the worst sales team - associates and manager. I hope not dishonest; however sales people happy to give super attractive vehicle prices verbally and to promise written confirmation quotes but then nothing follows. Unprofessional - no responses to multiple phone and email messages. Is it bait & switch or innocent incompetence?
Wanted to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee got the run around, after being here for 67 years its easy for me to cut through the BULL....
This dealership was recently purchased by another group of dealerships. I believe all of the poor reviews on Yelp were from before the new ownership and due to the failed leadership of the previous owners. They have totally turned the place around as far as I can see. I just bought a car there yesterday and the experience was so smooth that it would be basically impossible for it to be any smoother. There were no games or sales tactics, just gave me the car I wanted at a good price and with a smile on their face. I highly recommend them. Shout out to Aaron Blitch the salesperson and to Don Marston the finance manager! It was an excellent experience and you shattered the stereotype of the typical car dealership!
Service department is horibble! Go to the one in Richmond...its worth the drive.
Very unprofessionalPoor service in theservice departmentAngry, irate person calling himself manager Mohamed1 star is too much
Stay away from this dealership for repair, went here for engine light and for oil change because i need to drive my wife’s car to fort campbell her new place of duty, did oilchange even though 3000 miles more before its due and check for engine light, they they me i have problem with thermostat so i let them change it i payed more than 1000k including engine splash shield that wasn’t too expensive, when i got to las vegas on my way to fort campbell engine light is showing again so i drove to the nearest automotive part shop to refill the coolant because it is below minimum and called this dealership hanlees to tell whats going through my car they first told me to do some test then after that call i they dont eant to speak to me anymore, tried calling them but obviously they dont want to talk with me....
Service and parts are awesome Vinney is awesome guy and helped me out a lot.
Amazing team led by Ajay. They were extremely professional, easy to work with, and had us in and out with a new vehicle in less than 1.5hrs.
I purchased 2 new jeeps form them last year, and there was terrible customer service after the sale. I had questions about my extended warranty, and could never reach anyone, after calling multiple times. I could go on. In my opinion, they are after a quick sale, and beyond that youre on your own.
Got a great deal on a 2018 Kia Sportage Superbowl Sunday. Guys knew I was driving 2 hours to look and it would be raining. Had it inside, answered all questions. I went back for the special protectant interior and exterior coating. Everyone was great to work with. Made a stressful tiring morning decent and we left feeling glad wed gone there.
I am telling you that I do not like spending the day at the car dealership. I came in last week and bought a HELLCAT within 2hrs of walking in there. Xang Vang listened and totally came thru for me. I cant thank her enough!!!! The total time spent buying a new car was bout 3 hrs altogether. It was one of the best car buying experiences... ever!!And Miss Xang is willing to make it as easy as possible. THANK YOU !!! I MY LOVE HELLCAT! meow!
My family is out 1,200 on lost wages not to mention the cost for food, lodging, and a rental car. The transmission was late getting in and eventhough it finally did get in, it had not been installed. We are stranded halfway across the country and they dont even have the courtesy to pick up the phone. Shameful.
Edit: I called today and the lovely cashier lady referred me to John who assured that I will receive the glass window and it will be installed ASAP. He was friendly and I have full confidence that this will be sorted out. This was handled in a timely manner in relation to my original post.Old Message: [Its a Friday, but two weekends ago someone broke the window of my car and I took it to this location right away to get it fixed. The cashier lady was lovely and helpful, she told me to go to the window next to hers and press the button to ask for assistance. I did as she instructed and a man showed up and he had a mean demeanor and spoke to me in a very unfriendly manner. I then went to the service department and was told that the glass would arrive on Wednesday. On Wednesday I took the car and left it at the location, I then got a call from service telling me that the car needed new tires because they were balled and almost going to pop, sounded like it was an emergency. I talked to my Father who owns his own shop in LA and he told me to send him pictures. On Thursday I called the location and I was kept on hold for 45 minutes until I I decided to use another phone to call and say that I was still on hold on another line. I just wanted to ask if the car was ready to be picked up. I was told that the glass that they ordered was not the correct one and it didnt fit the car. So I Uber my way back to that location to pick up the car to wait again for the glass. When I got it back for some reason the blinkers would turn on every few minutes or so, also the door handle was left without its protective piece that goes under, I attached an image so you can see what it looks like right now. It is now over a week since I took the car. This morning I tried to turn the car on and the battery was low because of the blinker problem, I had to purchase a jumper to get it to start. I think the car keeps flashing those lights because of the glass not being there. I was told that this past Thursday the glass would be ready but it looks like I will go a third week the same way. My biggest concern is that with the rain it is hard to drive and see the water get inside, I put a plastic bag while I park it but cannot keep it while I drive because it doesnt let me see to my right. I wish I could get this problem fixed but I am waiting to see what happens now. I have a low battery on top of my broken glass and door handle. I wish the cashier lady worked at service because she would get things done fast just like how she refers me to them and also how she handles everything based on what I saw when I went there.]
If I could give this place 0 stars I would, let me tell you my experience with this place, in the past 4 years I have bought two cars from this dealership and sold one, I bought a 335i bmw (completely paid off) and a 2018 Dodge Charger which I currently still have. I sold this company a 2013 Scion frs, I have done TONS of business with them. Today 4/7/19 I went to test drive a vehicle and was clearly discriminated against because my age. I am very young but all cars have been in my name. and the manager Will, (who refused to give us his name we had to ask another sales staff) told me I couldn’t test drive a car unless I had proof of registration for my current vehicle, over 2500$ down and I had to do a credit check. He refused us service and when we asked for his business card he told us he felt harassed and refused and would not even look us in the face. He would just walk away from us anytime we talked to him. We got everything on video including being approached by a salesman who told us verbatim “yeah he isn’t supposed to do all that...” all the salesmen were in shock with how we were treated, one salesman (who I will not name because I don’t want him to get in trouble) called us 10 minutes after we left and said he was super sorry for how we were treated and he came from a different store and that was not the way they are supposed to do business. He then gave our information to a different store so we could do business with them instead. We then contacted corporate and nobody has gotten back to us. We got a call from eli at the hanlees store in Davis and told us to come in and test drive the same car no questions asked. He said that, the manager is clearly in the wrong and should not have treated us so poorly. Like I said before I have everything on video recording. The manager got super close to me face to face as a threat. And then when we told him we spoke to higher up management and they said he was NOT aloud to make us do a credit check and put 2500$ down to test drive he then said “ok thanks bye” and then went into his office and closed the door. This is super disappointing considering the fact I put down 12,500$ just to get my Dodge Charger and I still make payments of over 800$ a month. I have put almost 100k into this business to be treated so poorly. The fact of the matter is, if corporate chooses to not take action my girlfriend who is a social media influencer will be taking our video evidence to social media to get attention. None of this should have ever happened and we will not give the Napa store business ever again. I am disappointed that I already have a vehicle with them. The only reason I’m still considering Hanlees Dodge is because of the salesman who called and apologized and also because of Eli from the Davis store who we are going to see tomorrow. Hope this warrants action and we are heard.
Not a big fan of online reviews because I think people are more motivated to post negative comments. Unfortunately, I am hard pressed to find anything positive. Figure out how to answer your phone, return calls and improve your service department! Disappointing to feel you have to go out of town to be treated right.
I went in today to look at a car which I saw on their website. When I got there not only was the car sold a week ago, but the salesperson Federico or Rico, was very rude. It was hard to ignore the negative reviews when a car is a very big purchase.
Bought a 2011 Ford Ranger last year and they still havent submitted the registration and the registration is a month out of date at this point. In the times I was able to talk to a person (or they responded to an email) I was told the folks that handled that had quit and that it would be taken care of. I still have yet to hear anything back from them despite leaving messages and emailing them. The BBB is my only recourse at this point... I recommend folks steer clear of this horrible business!
I bought a used car there, and was ripped on my trade in. Then I finally got my title, and now I got a letter from DMV that the title is not clear, I need a previous owners signature. I have no idea where to fine this person. This doesnt seem like a very upright dealer.
Im visiting Napa from Atlanta, GA, and got a surprise when the check engine warning popped up last Sunday on my recently purchased Ram 1500 EcoDiesel. Called Hanlees CDJR in Napa Tuesday morning and asked if they could help me - the very polite lady that answered offered that their service manager would be available from 1 to 4pm that afternoon to read the diagnostics code for me to find out what the problem was. I went to the dealerships service department at 1:30pm and Roger, the service manager, was able to read the code and look up the problem on his office computer within 20 minutes of my arrival. Not only did they do all this in a very professional and friendly manner they also found a service bulletin that said the issue could be corrected with a software update. They said they could squeeze me in right away and do the SW update under warranty! All said and done they got me on the road before 4pm, same day, and couldnt have been more kind or helpful than they were. Overall a fantastic experience from start to finish!!
Everything about the process was horrible. I could not get ahold of anyone. The only nice person was a nice lady in the parts department. She went above and beyond. There is a reason why your business sucks. Its all in the people that you hire.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! i have been waiting 2 years for my car to get fixed and still they have not done anything to it. The service manager Brian Holt is extremely rude, arrogant, and disrespectful he has continuously made me waste my time by repeatedly making me appointments yet not doing anything to my car. if i could rate this dealer any less then one star i would, i do not recommend absolutely no one to go and deal with such disrespect and horrible customer service coming from the service manager. above it all he has the nerve to make a false report on my car so he does not get in trouble by the owner because i told him i would need to let Patrick Smorra know whats going on with his employees. Shame on them for having this kinda business going on.
While searching NorCal CDJR dealers for a new vehicle for my son, I came across Hanlees CDJR. They had the vehicle I wanted and advertised the price I was looking for. In my car buying experience, there is usually an effort by the dealer to switch things around, change the price or try to sell you a different vehicle. We encountered none of that at Hanlees. Everything went smoothly. They actually, willingly, helped us use an additional $500 rebate that I wasn’t sure we qualified for. They gladly utilized the bank we wanted to use, ran different financing scenarios, etc.I would difinitely recommend Hanlees CDJR of Napa.
Most rude, lying, disrespectful place to ever by a vehicle or try to have it service.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Went in Today with an Ongoing Non fixable Smog issue with my Jeep Wrangler. Was expecting a Major Headache as its under New Ownership since my last visit with same problem BUT one word VINNY.. Very friendly and efficient
The worst customer service Ive experienced at any car dealership across the country. I had leased a vehicle in another state, and as I was coming up on the expiration of this contract, I did plenty of legwork and research on what to do. Since the Chrysler Allegiance Team indicated I could return my vehicle at any Dodge dealership, I called Hanlees CDJR of Napa to confirm that I could do so, and to see if an appointment was required. A guy answered the phone and said I should just show up on the day of expiration with my paperwork, and theyd take care of it, and abruptly hung up the phone without saying bye to me. Today, we arrived at Hanlees CDJR, looking to return the car. First, we were told to wait with no further directions. Then only after we decided to ask what we were waiting for, did Robert, the General Manager, ask what we wanted. I explained that I was turning in my vehicle, and he said that his financing staff wasnt there, and wed have to wait a while, and basically told us to come back another day. We explained that we couldnt, since my lease was terminating. He said that he didnt have the program installed on his computer to take our leased car, and told us to go to Fairfield. We contacted two other Dodge dealerships and the Chrysler Allegiance Team, who all told us that what Robert said didnt make any sense, and that he was basically lying to us. Thankfully, another dealership about 30 minutes away, was extremely helpful, and was able to see me and take the car. However, if not for their help, Hanlees CDJR would have left me without any options, and would have caused me to go beyond the terms of my lease. Not only do I suggest that no one ever visit this facility, I also believe that they should be investigated by the Better Business Bureau and by Chryslers corporate team.
I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 3500. It stalled over a month ago, so I dropped it off at Hanlees dodge here in Napa. I go by and talk with Eric, one of the service managers once a week to see what the status is and it is still sitting in the back parking lot to this day! If your thinking of Hanlees service, I would think again!
May be under new ownership, but service is just as poor. Ive never been more disappointed in a service department. Took 45 minutes just to check me in for an oil change one day, even though I had an appointment, and nearly 4 hours to complete the work. During that time, I observed the service staff arguing with another customer, talking about the customer behind his back, and then trying to engage me in talking about him as well. The service team was inconsiderate and did not listen to my requests. Reluctantly, I set up a second appointment to replace my brake pads, and the service team forgot to order the parts, then neglected to contact me before I arrived for my 9am appointment. Then they lied to my husband and said that they had called. Completely unacceptable.
Wow, customer service was pretty horrible. Called to inquire about a car and the salesman said I was looking out of my means. He stated it couldnt be done. After I mention other dealers were around my ballpark, he stated well go over there and buy. I thanked him for his time. 30 minutes later he calls and tells me he can almost match then, within 20 bucks a month. kept changing and saying that was with tax then with out. I asked him to put it on paper, he said only if I came in. I asked him to please send me an email with the offer, because I dont like wasting my time nor his. This got him in a funk, he stated I wasnt ready to lease because I didnt want to go in to the dealership. I would have if he got it in writing. Its obvious he wanted to lure me in with false terms just to get me in. All in all, if you cant match what I was proposing thats fine Milton, just dont be rude about it.
Great team and experience. Service department is top notch.
Had a great visit, got my jeep serviced and I am happy!
In July I purchased a 2015 Ram 1500. I traded in my old car which the dealer took in trade for which they would pay off my old loan. It is now mid-September and the old loan has not been paid off!! I am on the hook for the monthly payments until my loan is paid off by Napa Chrysler. I have called repeatedly and they wont return my calls. I have left messages for Patrick Smorra that have not been returned. It sounds to me like they are in financial trouble and Im left holding the bag. My next move is to contact an attorney.I have just been contacted and advised a full payment of my old loan have been overnighted to the lender
Once they have your money you are dead to them, so they dont care what they sell you. Bought a 2012 Golf, paid for them to add Bluetooth, fix the windshield and fix a tire. Never able to get them to do the work. Very hard to get a hold of anyone, you will not get called back.
Simply put, the best service department I have ever dealt with. Professional!
Got my new car for a really good price here.
NEVER EVER bring your vehicle here for warranty work!! I brought my car in because it had engine problems. I originally bought the car in Elk Grove (1 1/2 hours from Napa) but I found out it could be fixed in Napa where I live, so I opted to bring it here. I brought it in on Nov 1st, my warranty company never even heard from Napa Dodge until Nov 21st! Seriously, 20 days to contact my warranty company?? I was put off by these people and their lies (blaming warranty company, no techs available, too many cars ahead of me, etc.) for a month and a half until I had my car towed (a nice $300 bill) to Elk Grove Dodge where I originally bought the car. When we went to get the car released from Napa Dodge, they were rude, demanded we pay $266 for tech time (popping the hood, pulling spark plugs, and doing a scope into the engine). Then when we asked for our paperwork back (service records, etc) the service manager actually walked over to the trash and pulled them out and handed them over!! REALLY?? Then they couldnt find the key! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service, avoid this place at all costs! Im just sorry I waited so long to pull my car out, Ive never dealt with warranty issues so I really didnt know any better. 3 days after my car arrived at Elk Grove, my engine was torn down, the warranty inspector had investigated the claim, and my car will be getting a new engine (due to manufacturer defect issue). I am reporting Napa Dodge to the BBB & CA state Bureau of Auto Repair, they are crooks!
I had an emergency with my wrangler and dropped it off one evening a few weeks ago. There were no dropoff envelops out back, so I left the keys with the manager, Johnny, in an envelope with all my information. Then, silence. I didnt hear anything for a few days. Its nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone. The woman answers the phone and forwards the calls to voicemail. I left multiple voicemails and just when I was planning to pick the car up to take elsewhere Brian called me back. I informed him of the problem with the car and he said hed call back. Never heard back. I called the next day and miraculously he answered the call. Over speakerphone I heard him and woman arguing and using profanities. Shocked, I tried contacting the GM, left a voicemail, and never heard back. When I went to pick up the car, I attempted to discuss the the multiple problems with Johnny. He couldnt have been more uninterested.I emailed the owner my complaints. Never got a response. Clearly, dysfunction starts at the top.Needless to say, I will never be back for service nor consider buying a car from Napa Jeep. there are many top notch mechanics in napa to chose from
Went to a few dealers today. By far worst experience in 2 weekends of searching for a new or used vehicle. Looked at a used vehicle that was advertised at $15,428 and had 1,300 miles. When I saw the car it had 480 miles . The whole time I let the salesman who was not friendly at all that that was the price on it. He said yes. Test drove it then he went in and said it was $18,400 . Said he could not do anything. I said ok and left and he never tried to negotiate. He could care less wether he sold a car or not. I had read reviews prior to going and was a prepared, but g could prepare me for this !! Should have listened to all the reviews . Do not go there!!
They are liers
Transporters beware do not haul for this company they are crooks they do not pay. They will not pay for transporting 1 vehicle for $350. They keep ignoring phone calls and saying that they will send check. Mr. Johnny Lopez you need to pay your bills. I would hate to see how the rest of this company is ran if they cant afford to pay $350 for transport fee.
Omg. The service is bar none the worst Ram truck center. Thank god I bought from litha. Avoid this place all together.
Amazing customer service!
DO NOT BUY HERE! Sold me a used car with a bald tire, and no spare/inflator kit, i got stuck on NYE and waited 2 days for service department to open, they said they would fix the backup camera which the test drive they pulled car up for me so i never used reverse, and i said what about the undercarriage panel hanging down, now the visor hangs from wires, they said dont worry well take care of it, but i have called 10 times and left 4 or 5 messages for khalid the finance manager to call me back, after they sold me a $4000 service contract they dont answer to set up appointment to fix this lemon they sold me.
My boss traded in a car and bought a used car from them. They never processed the transfer of ownership/registration with the DMV for the trade-in. I havent been able to get a single person to return my calls or take care of the problem. Its been 6 months, and were still getting notices from the DMV about delinquent registration.
Super friendly atmosphere unlike the stereotypical sales floor. Not pushy or overbearing, just helpful!
They never get it right?
THIS IS THE WORST RUN AUTO DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER SEEN!! THEY DONT ANSER THEIR PHONE, IF YOU ARE LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET THE GENERAL MAILBOX, NOBODY EVER RETURNS YOU PHONE CALL. THEY CANNOT GET THEIR PAPERWORK STRAIGHTENED OUT. I TURNED A VEHICLE IN 6 MONTHS AGO AND AM NOW GETTING NOTICES FROM THE DMV TO PAY THE REGISTRATION. REALLLY?? LOOKS LIKE I WILL HAVE TO TAKE MY DISABLED ASS DOWN TO THE DEALERSHIP JUST TO GET SOMEONE TO TALK TO ME. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND ENERGY THAT I WOULD HAVE TO RESULT TO THIS. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO TO THE VALLEJO OR FAIRFIELD DEALERSHIP.
I bought a new RAM1500 and the finance guy “Lee” sold me a 5 year pre-paid maintenance for $1000 from MOPAR. He was out of forms so asked me to come back and sign the MOPAR contract. I paid the $1000 which was listed on the purchase contract as “60 months maintenance”. When I came back I was asked to sign a one-pager for “Essential Care”. I asked for a paper with the terms for that to confirm this was the 5-year pre-paid maintenance and was told it was the 5-year maintenance and I would receive terms & conditions in the mail directly from MOPAR. Did not receive anything so when I finally started calling I got the terms: 10 pre-paid oil changes at $20 max each, a max $200 value! Sent an email and left voice mails for the GM Smorra, no answer. Went back to Lee and he said it was all a big mistake and would cancel the contract. I would receive a check in the mail in 2-3 weeks. Nothing came. Went back to dealership again, Lee nor Smorra were there but the Sales Manager Johnny promised he would take care of it and change it to a 5 year maintenance contract. Nothing happened. Left voice mails, no one calling back. These guys are either crooks or completely incompetent. I filed a complaint at BBB but BBB rates them already ‘FAIL”. Will have to go to small claims court to get my $1000 back. Also kept in contact with MOPAR – they kept telling me to get back to dealer, never told me I could simply cancel myself within 2 months. They only told me when the 2 months was passed that I could not cancel anymore…. Do not buy from MOPAR either! Next time I’ll read the reviews before I buy.
