Incredible experience!! We had a very last minute need at noon on a Saturday for new glasses as my daughter was heading off to a summer college program on Sunday for 6 weeks. Dr. Eugenides was professional, responsive and extremely caring. A GREAT experience. An incredible selection of frames as well. Can’t say enough!! AWESOME!!!!

On vacation and lost my contacts, but they helped me get it figured out and got me new lenses same day; when everywhere else turned me away. He went out of his way to figure out what lenses would work for me. Above and beyond customer service here. They also have some of the coolest & trendiest high fashion brands that Ive ever seen in any eye doctor. Great place

Our experience was wonderful from the minute we walked in until we left. I went in Monday for my sons eye exam and Dr Eugenides did a great job examining my 6year old. Dr Eugenides was very nice and explained every part of what was going to happen in a child friendly way. Two days later I went in to get my sons glasses and the tech was very friendly and had my son help him start the process of cutting the lenses. While I waited for the glasses I was able to get my eye exam without an appointment. They even took the time to explain results and options. Everyone is nice and friendly I am glad we found this marvelous place. I would highly recommend Vanderbilt Optical for their Great service, and professionalism lets spread the word and support a small business.

I had never been to this store. I purchased a Groupon and the entire staff went above & beyond to help me choose the best glasses for me. The Dr gave me an extensive eye exam since I have an eye disease with permanently dilated pupils. Truly the best service ever, with top of the line eye testing equipment!!

When I usually doing anything in my life there are complications. I was elated that in this case things went smoothly for my eye exam and contact fitting. Dr Eugenides at Vanderbilt Optical was informative friendly and accommodating to all my needs. I highly recommend him!

I was visiting family in Naples from out of town and lost my glasses in the ocean (oof moment).They were able to fit in an eye/contact exam appointment at the end of the day right before they closed. They were quick but thorough, hygienic (masks and hand sanitizer), friendly and professional. I was done with both exams and they even gave me a free pair of contacts, contact case, and solution as I was on vacation and did not have anything to store the contacts they gave me. They had a great selection of glasses too and were very helpful when I was trying on pairs.Best of all, they were able to cut my glasses right after my appointment, so within an hour I walked out with updated prescriptions, a free pair of contacts/case/solution, and stylish new prescription glasses. Truly life savers and I’m recommending them to my family!

Been going to the same optometrist 2x a year for 20+ years & adored him, was absolutely heartbroken when he retired. Googled optometrist near me & DR. EUGENIDES came up with good reviews. I booked with trepidation but was so happy when I got there. His shop is absolutely adorable with too many (in a good way! 😂) choices, his exam was quick & efficient even though he double checked my new prescription, a very fair price for my obnoxious prescription & the turn around for my order was less than 2 business days. Am SO happy I found this place!! You won’t be disappointed with his practice.

I just wanted to share a great experience I had at Vanderbilt Optical with Dr. Jason Eugenides. Went there for a family eye appointment. Yes all 4 of us. Dr. Eugenides was so great with my kids, taking time to teach them about their eyes, explaining things in a way that kids can understand. Did you know that kids eyeballs appear shiny like new cars on the scan?! Adults (mine and my husbands were significantly dull compared to the kids!) one of the many interesting things he shared with the kids! While we waited for my daughters glasses (first pair ever) he let me play with the color contacts. Ive always wanted to try out color contacts! Dr.Eugenides seemed to have fun giving me different colors to try that I didnt even ask for. When the glasses were ready he took time to teach her how to care for her glasses. To check them, fix them, to ask how she felt and assured her that if things dont feel right to come back. My daughter loved him. My kids and I had so much fun at our optical appointment!I just want to say one other thing about why I chose to go there. He is a small business owner and as a small business owner myself I wanted to support a local business. So I highly recommend Vanderbilt Optical and please tell him I sent you if you decide to go! (I dont get any compensation I just want him to know that I care.

Recently had an appointment there on Monday. The doctor was great and listened to all my concerns also helped me find another doctor that I needed for a different eye issue. Randy at the front was awesome he helped me with my glasses and helped me feel so much better about spending the money in order to get the types of lenses that I knew I needed. Can’t wait to get my new glasses hopefully next week!

I had broken my glasses and I went in just to ask questions. Dr. Eugenides was able to do my exam right there. He was very gentle and very professional. I have had many eye surgeries and he was very patient with me while doing the eye exam. His wife works there and she helped me pick out the best eyeglasses I have ever worn. Dr. Eugenides was able to custom make my eyeglasses within an hour! I would recommend everyone I know to Vanderbilt Optical!

I had an eye exam on Wednesday. Dr. Jason Eugenides is great. On time, professional, knowledgeable, and very good at explaining things. We chatted while waiting for the dilation eye drops to work and he answered all my questions thoroughly. I learned more about how eyes work, how to deal with certain eye issues, and how to keep my eyes healthy. The exam fee was very reasonable. Its great to find a great eye doctor!

I called Vanderbilt Optical after purchasing a Groupon for an eye exam and glasses for my daughter. Dr. Jason offered us an appointment the very same day. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and received such personable care that I had to write this review. Dr. Jason was kind, patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. He took the time to listen and made some excellent suggestions. The store is modern, brightly lit and filled with a large and unique assortment of eyeglass frames at all price points. After making our selection of frame and lenses, we were then pleasantly surprised to learn that we could have our glasses ready to go in about 20 minutes. From the moment I made the appointment on the phone until the time we walked out the door, we received exceptional service. This was truly a most enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Dr. Jason and Vanderbilt Optical.

Great experience! We felt like we were in very good hands the whole time. We called and got appointments the same day. The eye test was much cheaper than everywhere else and was still very thorough. They were sweet and didnt try to upsell us at all, which is always a huge relief. Highly recommend!

Yes, STAY AWAY! Extremely rude and dismissive. I was shown one pair of glasses and when I said I didnt want to spend that much ($845 ) Randy left the room. After that, I had NO help finding a pair at a lesser price point. I have never left a review for any business, but then again, I have never been treated that way in Naples or elsewhere!

I came in yesterday for an eye exam, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Now I can see better with my glasses, and Randy was very kind as well and helped me choose beautiful glasses. It was a great experience, I highly recommend coming here!

My name is Julianne LofendoMy son Tommy was diagnosed with a rare progressive Corneal disease.We have been turned away by dozens of well known ophthalmologists and optometrists in Collier and Lee County, because Tommy has Florida Kid Care.No one would take the time to file paperwork for his medically needed contacts.This is by far one of the finest establishments in Naples for eye care.The doctors and staff truly care for their patients.They rushed my son in for an exam and a fitting for his lenses, ordered his lenses and have yet to ask me for payment.I’m a single mom raising 2 children and my son has autism. (👈 I have yet to share this with them)Without being aware of my personal struggles, and without asking for help from them, they were quick to insist on seeing my son with urgency so he could see again.I will never forget their kindness and sincerity they have shown to myself and my son.I am blessed to have met them.I will never go anywhere else and highly recommend this doctors office.This “bed side manner” is rare anymore.

Stay away!! I walked in to have my glassless adjusted, I bought them from Vanderbilt Optical originally. Randy adjusted them and when he did he wrinkled the coating on my lenses so bad that I could not see clearly out of them after Randy tried to deny he did it he said he relented and agreed to replace them. I picked them up and they replaced them with a thicker lens. They said it was the same lens I had bought another pair of glasses from them and when I laid them nex to each other it was obvious they used a thicker lens. Aftter going back in they said it was the same lens. They also returned my frames to me cracked. I went to Lens Crafters immediately after and they confirmed they switched lens on my glasses. I have photographs of glasses. I dont write bad reviews but this was the worst experience I have ever had with a store. I uploaded photos

I had pain in my left eye all night & needed to be seen today. I got an appointment at 12:30 today thankfully. I was seen promptly, 3 little eyelashes were poking straight into my eye. Dr. E. spotted them, removed them & prescribed some eye drops. He even gave me a coupon to get the Rx as cheaply as possible.I was very satisfied with this visit & would highly recommend this office.I am no pain now, such a relief!!!😀

Got my first pair of glasses. Dr. Eugenides was friendly and welcoming and made certain all my concerns were answered. However, the star of this review has to be Randy, the office manager. I was pretty bewildered and uncertain of what kind of frames might suit me, and he guided me to a pair that I absolutely love. His eye for what looked good on me was amazing and his confidence and reassurance helped me make a great choice. My husband loves my new glasses on me too, and tells me they make me look younger, and thats not so bad either ;) Ill be cross posting this review to Yelp as well.

My husband broke his frames while in Naples on vacation. He stopped in Vanderbilt Optical and they were fixed in a couple hours! When he returned to pick them up, he was told “no charge”. Such nice folks and you can be sure we will do business with them the next time we need frames! (Their selection is amazing!)

I called to inquire about an appointment for my sons and insurance. I could barely finish a sentence (interrupted every time I attempted)....I had looked up online and my insurance says Dr. is in-network. I called to confirm and was told to call my insurance. I asked if their office would call to confirm since thats usually what medical practices do, but was told it would take him a half hour on the phone (!) and that I should be the one calling. I suppose time is relative depending on whose time it is. I did my due diligence before calling and, albeit polite, the man on the phone was a bit too brisk. The doctor may be a wonderful doctor (great reviews), but unfortunately the first interaction was subpar and I have decided to look for another optometrist.

Outstanding service. Everyone there is very knowledgeable about the products and options and that has not always been the case when I have purchased eye-wear before. They are my eyes, after all! I cant go to just anybody! Thank you to Dr. Eugenides and his team!

Dr. Eugenides gave me my life back! Heres my story: In July of 2018 I was given an eyeglass prescription from Dr. Madison on Marco that was never right. I finally went back to him this March 2019 and he told me to have cataract surgery, even though I barely have the beginning of cataracts. But, I went to see Dr. Byerly in Naples about cataract surgery. She examined my eyes, said my current prescription was fine, and said that I do not need cataract surgery. This left me with the problem Ive been having since July 2018. I have not been able to see clearly - everything was slightly blurry. I finally found Vanderbilt Optical, by reading reviews, and Dr. Eugenides right away told me that my existing eye prescription was way off. He gave me a new prescription, and then Randy Boot, the optician and Managing Partner set up my new progressive lens - and now I can finally finally see clearly again! These guys are miracle workers! I highly recommend them.

Its tough in Naples to find an optometrist on a Saturday morning to welcome you into his office to examine an overnight eye issue that appeared serious. Dr. Jason Eugenides did just that, fitting me into his busy Saturday schedule. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough concerning my eye issue and I walked out of his office re-assured and confident that I made the right decision calling his office. If youre in the Naples area and need an eye exam (or glasses/contacts), I fully recommend Dr. Eungenides, whos been serving eye patients in the Naples-area for over 30 years.

Vanderbilt Optical has a beautiful selection of frames and I was able to find the perfect one. The staff is friendly and very attentive.
