Booking appointments online was easy and straightforward. The office communicated exceptionally promptly and clearly. Dr. Samuel was explanatory and very pleasant. Haley was very helpful in navigating the hundreds of frame options. Everyone I interacted with was cheerful and professional.

Dr. Daldine is awesome! Remember when doctors used to take the time to sit and listen, really get to know and understand your concerns? That is him in a nutshell. We need many, many more just like him.

I love Illumineyes! I spent a year with inferior lenses that kept cracking down the side and the past optician could not fix it for a year!! I went to Illumineyes and got a stellar exam and two pairs of Progressive lenses for a great price! Plus they repaired my old prescription readers for free.You need to go here! I had a perfectly charming eye exam experience yesterday and I dont think Ive ever said that before. I needed contacts for an upcoming trip and needed to check my prescription and they fit me in with a same day appointment and sent me home with contacts for the vacation.The (relatively) new owners of IlluminEyes are both wonderful, Ive seen each of them. I cant say enough good things about them and definitely want to tell 5 to 10 strangers that this is the place for their eye care. Consider this review one of those strangers? 😉

All the staff was wonderful and so friendly! I brought both my kids in for their first eye exams and Dr. Samuel was great! She made us all feel comfortable and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. I highly recommend them!

Great, personalized service with my contact lens fitting from a very knowledgeable doctor! The support staff who helped me select glasses also really knows their stuff, helping me select frames that compliment my face, look outstanding, and are very comfortable to wear. The routine eye exam. For me, an uncomfortable and frustrating experience with impatient or pushy staff just trying to get onto the next patient/customer. My recent visit with IlluminEyes was anything but.My son and I checked in for both of our exams. We were immediately happily greeted by Alexis and Cari.Our tech Ashlee was awesome. She was very professional and thorough in explaining each part of the exam. After patiently answering all of our questions, Ashlee introduced us to our doctor.Dr. Samuel was incredible too, especially with my son! She walked him through each step while stopping to answer any questions he or I had. Dr. Samuel wrapped up by making some suggestions for each of us and then brought us out front to get my son fitted for glasses.Haley was just as awesome! She asked my son a few questions about what he liked and came up with a few options. It took only 3 pairs before he found the perfect fit. Since my prescription hadn’t changed much, I didn’t plan to buy another pair of glasses. Haley understood and was not pushy at all. She did however suggest getting prescription lenses for my Ray Ban sunglasses to help with driving. SOLD!From beginning to end, our experience at IlluminEyes was amazing. We will not be going anywhere else and will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Dr. Chris Daldine is one of the most friendly and personable professionals that Ive ever come across. Coming to his office for an appointment was like being welcomed into his home. On one hand, he took his time, thoroughly explaining the results of my eye exam. Meanwhile, Dr. Daldine talked with me like I was a friend that hed known for years. If youre looking for an eye doctor who goes above and beyond, who makes his clients feel right at home, give Dr. Daldine a call.

My daughter and I both got our eye exam here (and were extremely satisfied with that) but we opted to buy glasses through an online retailer for financial reasons. When my daughter didnt feel like her glasses worked or fit well we went back to IlluminEyes and they were extremely helpful even though we hadnt bought the glasses from them. They offer a service to check, adjust and maintain glasses for customers for a nominal fee. Kristin was excellent and made my daughter feel comfortable and welcome. She realized that the PD on her glasses were wrong and encouraged us to have them remade. We did return the glasses for a new pair and Kristen checked and adjusted them to fit well and gave my daughter a case to keep them safe when she is not wearing them. Excellent customer service!

My 3rd visit to Illumineyes. Friendly, efficient staff. A eyewear is a bit on the higher side of pricing, but they get it right everytime - so I dont mind paying a bit more. Plus, the glasses are under warranty for 1 year and they do adjustments anytime for free.UPDATE: I had 2 pairs of glasses made, one safety for work, one for everyday. The everyday pair had a defect in the right lens causing eye strain. They remade the lens, which I just got back today. When I got home, I noticed that there was distortion in my peripheral vision in the remade lens. After looking at them closely under a light, there are 2 watermarks and a scuff. UNACCEPTABLE. For the almost $1000 I paid, I shouldnt have to keep returning to get what I paid for. So, here they go back again for a 3rd time. UGH.

Everyone there is so nice! Dr. Samuel was kind and patient and was able to explain things better than my eye doctors that I had before. Then the staff that helps with picking out glasses and adjusting glasses are so personable! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I love this place! After years of a pretty terrible experience at another eye doctor, I finally made the switch and couldnt be happier. Dr. Christopher Daldine diagnosed a chronic eye issue, walked me through the recovery process, outlined the steps if the treatment did not work and was caring but straight to the point through the whole process. He pretty much cured me with one try. I am truly grateful for his expertise. This is now my forever eye doctor and I would recommend this place to anyone. Wait times are about 5 or 10 minutes longer than expected but please note the doctors spend time with their patients. This is not an in and out one stop shop. they spend time, help to diagnose and make sure you know and understand everything before you leave. Best eye doctor ever.

Completely infuriating. I ask IlluminEye to review my eye exam and prescription if they are indeed correct because I ordered my glasses elsewhere. IlluminEyes explains I need to pay for this service. So I am to understand that I need to pay $50.00 to ensure my eye doctor is human and may or may not have made a typo?? The doctor was very nice, but I will not be returning.

I just got new glasses today that are super! The combination of my recent exam with Dr. Daldine and the design of my new glasses by Kristen have improved my long-distance vision and optimized my bifocals for comfortable transition between long- and short- distance usage.Dr. Daldine is so helpful, explaining what is good and not-so-good with my eyes, helping me optimize the vision I have, and giving me confidence into the future.Kristen is the very best optician I have ever known! The glasses details (lens size, useful coatings, bifocal location, and comfortable nose/ears fit) she just did for me are once again amazing fine.I can see (smile)!

Long time customer. The office staff are always great, and Steadman himself is a fantastic Dr who asks great questions. The only exception is the retinal exam they push on you that isnt covered by insurance but insist you should do anyway. Also - found my most recent experience less than satisfactory from the second I had to deal with the woman who fits you for your glasses. Despite my patience over the course of the last 2+ months I do not feel she best represents the business outlook on customer satisfaction. It was difficult to get her to hear I couldnt wear the glasses I originally selected, and once she did behaved as if she were doing me a huge favor by insisting I upgrade the lenses (which cost me more!) For the money they charge that I paid *in cash* not insurance! I expected something closer to decent service/attitude.EDITED:Unfortunately, the replacements I have been waiting for I returned. The glasses tech I spoke with proved unhelpful in resolving problems that just kept popping up. (They lost my replacement frames!What?!) I wound up eventually calling THEM too find out the situation, and requested a full refund which I almost did not get without a struggle. I will not be returning here for glasses in the future if this is the level of customer service I can expect.

I got three words to describe Illumineyes... Friendly, Knowledgeable and professional. From the moment I walked in until the time I left I can honestly say I was given their full attention. It took me forever to pick out my new glasses and the opticians were super patient and helpful. I will definitely be going there from now on.

Eye exam was okay, i think they skipped a few steps that I have at other doctors offices. I purchased new glasses and contacts. Both seemed to be off, needed to return 3 times to have the lenses adjusted for my eyes, very poor service on my return visits. Once they had my money, the service level went from okay to poor. After 6 months I went to Pearl Vision and they were very good and corrected the issues. Not sure I would send anyone there for glasses.

Spectacular experience with Dr Daldine and the technician, whose name escapes me. Their attention to detail and ability to answer questions thoroughly was refreshing and Im a really intense asker of questions.Theyve got neat tech that allows photo-imaging of your parts, which is next level.I paid cash so Im not sure about the insurance setup that others commented on.

Dr. Steadman has performed my eye exams for many years, ever since his office was adjacent to Lenscrafters in Nashua. Im completely confident in his skills, knowledge, and professional attention to medical details. The optometrist side of the business is less impressive. I was quite disappointed in my last eyeglass purchase, which I felt was overly expensive and required numerous visits to complete. To their credit, I felt that Dr. Steadman and his staff listened carefully to my observations and acknowledged areas that needed improvement - that added one star to my evaluation. If the business side can ever reach Dr. Steadmans medical level it will be a five-star operation.

My husband is a welder and must have a prescription lens in his hood. He was longoverdue for a new lens but the company who custom made them over 8 years ago no longer offers this service.I contacted illuminEyes in hopes that they could help him...and Dr. Daldine did more than that, he and his team went to work straight away, went above and beyond what we expected, and designed a custom welding prescription lens even better than the old one...My husband is required every spring to be recertified and he passed those tests with flying colors thanks to this new lens!I highly recommend illuminEyes Vision Care if you want to receive exceptional service and customer care... Excellent doctors and staff; very courteous, friendly, and pleasant. I have always had problems with getting the correct prescription for my eyes, so I decided to try a private practice instead of a commercial chain.  I have been to Target Optical, LensCrafters, and Walmart over the past few years and no doctor has left me with being able to see right. They just kept changing my prescription and I was getting very frustrated and not trusting doctors. I decided to try IlluminEyes and my problem was finally discovered. Dr. Daldine discovered I had cataracts and I had something else going on and I needed to work on that before I could be referred to an eye surgeon for the cataracts. He also told me that since I have a very high prescription, the surgery would make a significant difference in the changing of my prescription. I finally had the surgery and WOW what a difference. My eyes are healthy and I can see!! I have discovered a valuable lesson through this experience. I need to think about the value of service I will get from a small business owner, than a corporate chain that is only interested in the bottom line. A small business owner provided me a personalized service and genuine care. This brought back memories of when I was young. I remember my parents taking me to a local Optometrist and there was never a question on our service. As a middle aged adult, I have learned how valuable this kind of service is. I am very happy, I have found my eye doctor, a small family business, and will continue my eye exams here.
