My daughter had an 8:40 a.m. appointment didnt leave until 10:30 spent about 45 minutes in the waiting room while I waited for my daughters eyes to dilate which they said would only take 15 minutes after they said that it would only be 15 minutes they started somebody elses appointment in the same room that we were in so we were left sitting there for 45 minutes. 840 was the earliest appointment that they had available that day and I figured my daughter would only miss an hour hour and a half of school no she missed about 2 two and a half hours because they dont schedule very well

This review is not a reflection on the doctors and nurses who care for patients. Dr. Guenena, who performed my moms cataract surgery, is great! The nurses in the clinic are excellent and were so kind and helpful with my 97 y.o. mom. My issue is that nurses appear to cover the front desk. Let nurses be nurses and HIRE A RECEPTIONIST. For my moms first surgery we never received a call to let us know the arrival time for her procedure which was on a Monday. Friday afternoon and all weekend long I frantically tried to learn of our arrival time. Finally, on Monday morning, I got someone from Nashua Eye Associates walk down to the surgery center (because nobody was answering the phone) to ask that someone call us. For the second surgery, which was scheduled for a Friday, I started calling on Wednesday afternoon. I never got through until Thursday afternoon to find out our arrival time for Friday. I mean -- isnt the surgery center supposed to call us 2-3 days prior to the procedure? Should I have to keep calling? This was very stressful for us. If I had to do it again, Id choose a different surgery center. Again, HIRE A RECEPTIONIST.

I had LASIK at Nashua Eye in December and wanted to share what a positive experience it was. In an admittedly crazy year, I was nervous about entering any sort of doctors office but wanted to finally take the plunge and get LASIK. From my first consult at Nashua eye, I noticed that the office was clean and carefully set up to help keep patients and staff safe. I met with Dr. Parikh and he gave me an exam and discussed what the surgery would involve. He took the time to answer all of my questions and was very kind and thorough about responding to my concerns. Scheduling the surgery was easy and the team made sure I had everything I needed before I left. When I came back for my surgery at their surgery center (which is on-site, I was amazed at how quick it was. The team took me through the necessary preparations and in for my procedure and I was through it before I new it. Dr. Parikh was very calm and professional throughout the surgery and told me what he was doing at each step which helped me feel comfortable. Its definitely a little unnerving to have someone working on your eyes but I felt like I was in good hands.Ive had a few follow-up appointments since with Dr. Parikh and his team and my recovery has gone really smoothly. It is SOOO nice to be able to see without glasses or contacts. Im really grateful for how easy this process was in an otherwise extremely complicated year. Thank you so much, Nashua Eye and Dr. Parikh!

I would not recommend purchasing your contacts from Nashua Eye Associates. I had contacted them prior to scheduling my annual visit to see if there was a rebate for contacts. I was told there was $200 for a year supply. I went for my visit and spoke directly with a staff member in the contact dept to verify again what rebate I’d be getting back. She assured me $200. I went ahead with the order. A week or so later I get the rebate form and submit for the rebate. Acuvue only gave me $100 back. Come to find out the $200 was for only new contact wearers. (Nashua Eye has even mailed me the new wearer rebate sheet which I noticed after talking with Acuvue). I have been going to Nashua Eye Associates for years and for me to talk to multiple staff members and be told the wrong information is unacceptable. It took me 2 weeks of multiple calls leaving messages to finally be able to talk with someone at Nashua Eye about my concern. The supervisor who called me listened to my concern and was understanding but I was told there was nothing further that could be done. Next time I’ll be sure to read the rebate form before ordering and not trust their staff to give me the correct information

On June 8th I visited the Nashua Eye Associates and Dr. Patrick J. Riddle, Ophthalmologist, diagnosed my eye condition as a stye and prescribed me antibiotics. I finished my dose and only the redness and tenderness are gone but the bump on my eyelid still there. I kept on using the warm compresses as he recommended but nothing happened. I paid the full price they asked for the visit as a self-pay ($170).On July 17, I returned to see Dr. Riddle for the same condition as the bump is still there and nothing changed since the first visit except the tenderness… He has nothing to offer me or prescribe me to solve my common condition, only that it might need surgery later if it stays there. I was asked to pay for the follow-up visit the same amount of the first visit, when I asked why, I was told it is a second visit and not related to the first visit by the doctor himself who just told me that he could not do anything for me. I even asked for a % discount and they refused.Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Riddle as well as the billing department. Really a shame! It is pretty much a joke, I paid $170 x 2 for a first visit and the same for a follow-up visit plus the medication and the compresses, a total of $380 and my eye condition remains the same. Now I have to go see another Dr. who can treat me and pay more.I wanted people to know what happened to me and beware of the clinic who I initially was happy to find close by me but had a total disappointment trying them. Was told over the phone in every message I can not receive the correct ones I paid for unless I bring in the wrong ones. Taking time out of my life when they screwed up. I was told it was easier that way. Only for them because they just wanted to lenses back. They should have shipped then to my house and ate the loss but they only cared about not losing money on the incorrect lenses. I will never order from them again. Shame on you Nashua eye associates.

I have been this place more than 5 times. Every time we visit the place we come out with some type of dissatisfaction. Staff is Okay. No concern about it. Doctor seems to be busy and rushing one after another. I always feel like they do not have enough time to concentrate on patients concern. Even I ask him a question doctor’s answer is so general that doesn’t mean anything.

I brought my mother in today to get her new glasses. The woman who helped us ( Sylvie ) went above and beyond to assist us. If it wasnt for her persistence my Mom would not have been able to receive her discount ( AARP ). We were very grateful for her help.

I had PRK surgery with Dr Parikh last week. He took time to answer all our questions throughout the process. I was very pleased by how quickly he and he his staff respond to phone calls, emails and post any post surgery emergencies. I was experiencing a lot of pain the day after removing the protective lense (day 7). Holly called me back with good advice. Later, I spoke with Doctor Parikh on the phone (immediately) when the pain didn’t subside. I went in because he wanted to be absolutely sure it was not infected. I was seen as soon as I could get to the office. No waiting. He resolved the pain (a superficial layer from my eye had been removed by eyelid/blinking). My right eye is already 20/20. So was my left eye before I scratched it. But.... Wow, I am so thankful! Dr Parikh goes above and beyond for the care of you and your eyes. Having eye surgery is scary. I am extremely thankful for being so well cared for and the time Dr Parikh and his staff has taken to make sure I am okay. Thank you! Emily

Took my grandma for an appointment. Gave them her insurance cards. They did the eye appointment then refused to give her a prescription because they are “out of network”. I checked the insurance providers website because we’ve never had an issue before and they are clearly in network. I called and they were so rude. Beware!

Extremely frustrated with the level of service. Dr. Setterlund is great - thorough & kind. The rest of the staff weve encountered are not personable at all. The front office staff, whether to us or by observation with other patients, are rude & incompetent. Today when I asked why i needed to wait 2 weeks to see the other doc I was being referred to by Dr. Desai, the front office lady said how am I supposed to know, I wasnt in the room? I said, well, just like every other time Im here the communication is horrible & had to demand a visit sooner. And when asked if I need a 2nd referral for the next visit she said she didnt know. What? I said its your job to know or find out. Just so rude. Unfortunately, even tho we like Dr. S, well be looking elsewhere for future service.
