Big Lots is always a fun place to go and broswe for random household goods, seasonal items, food or even furniture. They dont always have what you are looking for if you are looking for something specific, but if you find something you like, theres a good chance it will be a lot cheaper than other places.

3 staff members in the entire place. 1 register. 18 customers.Floors look like they should be in a rob zombie movie. Everything is dirty. Havent been in here for a couple years. I remember why.Next time I go will be for the store closing clearance on the gazebos they carry.

I only stop by when I need specific supplies because its annoying to have their member card pushed every time. The registers are better now but the atmosphere is lacking. All of the refrigerated products were removed and the floors look like they are never cleaned. Ive since leaned towards visiting Job Lots. They too have no refrigerated products but have a wider selection of merchandise. Big Lots has great furniture, but never an on-floor employee that makes eye contact.

This is a bug box discount store where most merchandise is bought in lots (Big Lots). The store is not huge, but the furniture is really good, the selection of useful electronics (blue tooth speaker, chargers and the like) is decent. Most important, the staff is friendly and helpful.

HiThis store is very accommodating, HATS OFF to ROBERT!!!He is THE BEST helped us load the Truck and securing our purchase.I am sure that he was juggling multiple customers. All done with a Smile. Thank you very much Robert. We be visiting the store again!!!

I have been a costumer for years, and I remember Big Lots having better prices and more friendly staff.

Had an issue with the canopy top of a Broyhill product. Tried to get in touch with the manufacturer with no luck. I called Robert who manages the Amherst St store and I couldn’t have asked for better service. He actually opened a box of another unit and gave me that top to replace my defective one. If I could give 10 stars I would. It is also a very nice product for the money but things can happen and Robert and Big Lots made it right. Thanks so much!!Hugh Martin

First time in a Big Lots, was impressed by the selection and enjoyed browsing the aisles. However, I didnt end up making any purchases as the line was too long and many items were out of stock (Sunday after Black Friday.) Id be interested to check back another time to get a better impression of the store.

Good place to shop for those hard to find items. Their prices are slightly lower than most of the big box stores. All of the employees are knowledgeable about the items they sell. All of the associates are very kind and helpful. I like the Big Lots store.

Great service when we purchased our furniture! however bought furniture at the Nashua, NH location and the delivery company they use never responded to us and after a little over a week we had to pick up ourselves due to the recommended delivery service not responding to us. Very disappointing.

Love big lots. Good prices and variety of merchandise from furniture to chip clips, some food. A bit of everything.

After an hour looking for hand sanitizer, they have it, they have a great diversity of products and some prices are better than Amazon or Walmart.

I have had sales person paged three times an no one has still come..service stinks...they have lost my sale. I understand people get busy..their is only five people in store an two are employees....I will be shopping everywhere....so Googlers shop somewhere...second time here same issue every time no one here to help....

Good selection at cheaper prices, didnt find the dining table I was looking for but many other things caught my eye. Product always changing according to season and holidays. Always a good place to stop in at to see what they have next. This store is never crowded other than during the holidays. I enjoy shopping at this location.

One of the best Big Lots Ive seen. Lots of name brand items and great selection for a bargain store. Prices beat the heck out of similar, more popular stores.

I go to Big Lots for cleaning supplies and some basic groceries. Occasionally, I will stock up on cheaper brand name tampons when they are in stock. This location is just fine for those needs - rarely busy, lots of parking, decently clean, fine service.

Good place to get cheap consumable items like ear buds and snacks and similar commodities. Recently its been refurbished so its not looking shabby.

Like a big K-mart with similar merchandise and staff. Sean, the cashier, tried tried to register the unfortunate woman in front of me for their discount program. After the third time making her repeat her personal information, everyone in line -- except for Sean -- knew her name, email address, and phone number. Fortunately, Sean didnt make her provide her actual birthdate, suggesting, Ill just enter Christmas.

OK stuff, but stay away from the furniture. Over priced and falls apart quickly. Also stay away from the leasing offer as it is incredibly misleading. They tell you its at a 1.9% interest rate but its actually 1.9X the value of your purchase.
