The store associate was lovely, but thats really the only positive thing I can say about that location. Could barely walk down the isles there was so much fallen merchandise. Nothing made logical sense in terms of placement and things were broken and opened all over the place. And there were zero carts to be found in the store. It wasnt busy either. When i asked if there were any carts the woman said yes and no. Huh? Apparently they get taken. Either they got ransacked earlier in the day and the store will spend the next 3 days recovering or they need some additional help. Typically I love trips to Dollar General but i dont think i will be going to that location again anytime soon.

Only giving one star because I have to. There’s only one good cashier, the one with silver hair. The manager is too busy to help anyone or she acts like she is. The newest employee Angelica, doesn’t bother to wear a mask. That’s the only reason I know her name, I try to steer clear. I’ve also very recently heard the manager screaming at one of her other cashiers.I will be going to Hudson for now on. The Nashuastore isn’t even clean or well stocked.So disgusted.

Alright.. but honestly, when I think of a dollar store I think inexpensive and considering cost and quality, Im not super impressed. They did have a few reasonably priced items.

Horrible, place was a disaster area things all over the floors . Staff wasnt helpful at all. Just standing around complaining about lazy people on unemployment . Like everyone hasnt just been through the worst year of their lives

I would give zero stars if I could. Never have enough staff working, went there this morning and they are closed when they are supposed to be open. This is probably the 3rd time I have gone there to find they are not open.

Karen (cashier) is super sweet and very helpful. She can tell you which aisle to find just about any item. Saying she is super sweet is an understatement. Shes wonderful.

Empty shelves

Me and my gf came here to buy drinks and some snacks. The drinks and snacks that we got was good. This place has a small parking lot with handicap parking and wheel chair accessible entrance. The floors were clean, the staff were nice to us. This place sells all kinds of different things. The prices are cheap and really good.

Good prices. I actually went there instead of Family Dollar, which is where I typically go for the items I purchased. Family Dollar is great for pricing and coupons. Unfortunately the store on E. Hollis St is almost always a complete mess when I go there. It makes it very difficult to shop, move around the store, and trying to find ANYTHING is a joke. But... Since Im writing a review on Dollar General, I will not continue with Family Dollars issues. Dollar General was a breath of fresh air when I walked in! Everything was in its place. You could move around the store with no problems.. I mean, I understand that when people shop around, they dont always put things back the way they originally found them.. I honestly have no problem that. On another note, Dollar General also has decent prices. Their employees are helpful and kind! I dont drive and Dollar General is further away, so I usually go to Family Dollar. I definitely recommend shopping here for hygiene products, arts and crafts, toiletries, etc..

Messy store and not very organized. Has more inventory sitting in boxes than on display. Even after checking back a week later. Hard to navigate through the store with all the cargo carts in the way.

Got better....Now you find a cashier CLOSE BY or AT REGISTER very respectful and curtious. Phone could use ALOT OF WORK being answered. Maybe new phone system or set up.

Horrible hours just stopped by and small note on the door with hrs which wasnt posted online closes at 3:30p.m. not impressed

Wicked helpful assistant store manager! She was great.. I had a bunch of digital coupons i wanted to use so i bugged her a lot and she was totally cool with it! Even helped me with questions on my checkout prices! The digital coupons help so much as well! Saved 29% of my bill with them!Tara

They don’t stay open their scheduled hours... constantly closing early for no reason while employees are still in the store. I type this at 8:55 and they’re suppose to close at 9.

Just stopped in for some storage bins. I had no idea of all the various items they carried. The employee was so cheerful, helpful and made me glad I stopped in.

Work on checking your products that they not expired. Also having your shelves organized and walking space well cleaned for customers to get through.

Accidently double charged for an item, staff was as helpful as they could be however I am still waiting on my refund that should have been posted by now.

This Dollar General is average and well-stocked. Stop by for a good deals and if you need basic things.

Very convenient to our home, great prices and the staff is so much happier then Family Dollar thats actually closer for us but customer service means more and Dollar General isnt as cluttered and unorganized As Family Dollar!

Staff is incredibly rude. I dropped my change at the register and the cashier laughed and made fun of me in front of a whole line of people til I stormed out in tears. Ive been going to this store for years and now Im never stepping foot in there again.

It is actually not as messy as family dollar and there are more employees on duty during rush hours when they are busy! The lines always run smoothly they dont really look into people background checks thou i have know a few ppl that worked there they are snakes!

Never two registers open when the line is ten people long and someone is usually just stocking the shelves. Customers come first. Place is always trashed and out of alot of products. Also cigarette case been locked for two weeks with no sign telling you no.
