My fitting was in two stages. Initial and fine tuning. After growing accustomed to both of my hearing aids, the second visit was scheduled. With the additional features, tuning the hearing aids reduced tinnitus (my tinnitus varies over time), greatly reduced feedback, and eliminated static. If your hearing loss is as bad as mine, I highly recommend getting the higher performance Starkey aids.
