Leased a new Civic Sport with my son and the experience was great! From initial internet contact to the dealership in-person sales team and even through the dreaded finance guy, everybody was great! No high pressure and honest down-to-earth conversations. Since I am stationed overseas while my son is there in San Diego as a student, they were able to take the down payment over the phone and e-sign all the documentation. In the future I will only buy my cars at Ball. They walk on water!

Overall we had a great experience at Ball Acura, Richard was great to work with, he heard what we really wanted and they worked with us to get us the deal we needed. The only suggestion I would have for them, we walked onto the lot and for a few minutes looked around and no one came out to assist us until a service member saw us and went inside to ask a sales rep to come out. We knew what car we wanted, but if we were just a potential customer, we could have easily walked to another dealer. Also the car we got is very high tech and none of the features were explained to us, which we do appreciate the follow up text offering to explain them but I think that could have been done during the sales process. Other than that everyone was great and most importantly got us the deal we wanted. I would give them 4.5 stars

My wife and I were extremely disappointed with Ball Auto group after we got the bait and switch on Labor Day weekend. We drove from almost an hour and a half away and got childcare to look at a Kia Sedona that was advertised at $19,490 and that’s what I was quoted through email. I was told by the internet manager, Andy Martinez, they have the car, but they were so busy he couldn’t take some additional pics and text me them. Turns out the truth was we drove down there and the car wasn’t about a week from being ready. So that was frustrating, but we wanted to test drive it and see how we liked it because we made a long trip.First we were told we couldn’t test drive it, but after saying I wouldn’t sign papers without driving it, it was magically available for test drive. After the drive we decide to start hammering out price. At this point we’ve been waiting a while in a room and after going back and forth a few times the sales guy comes in with an assistant manager who does the big reveal of telling me sorry somebody priced it wrong, the cars actually $28,890At this point we just left. After wasting a Saturday of Labor Day weekend driving down there to get the bait and switch was infuriating. Be aware of this shady dealership

Brought my car in on a Friday morning hoping they could figure out what was wrong with it. They told me they thought they knew what it was but it was going to cost about $400 and they weren’t sure that I should put that kind of money into my car. I asked them to order the part anyway then called them Saturday morning to say I change my mind, I was going to come and get my car. They had my car ready for me in a half hour, they were so nice and didn’t charge me for the diagnostic. Enrique was wonderful!!

On July 9, 2020 went to look at a 2015 Mazda CX5 (JM3KE2CY0F0546451) they had on their website on their lot. When we got there, they said the Mazda was just put on the lot and was getting refurbished. They then took us up the street to the maintenance lot, and they were able to find out the car was sent off-site to get reupholstered, as the previous owner had a dog that ate the backseat, and to come back the next day to see the car.Next day (July 20,2020) rolls around and go back. The car was there, it had not been cleaned up or anything, and had a wet dog smell to it which was attempted to be covered up with heavily sprayed floral scent. Test drove the car anyway, and otherwise it was in good condition. Was told I could come back in a few days when the car was detailed to see it again.Arrived back on July 12,2020 and the car was cleaned up, still had an overpowering floral scent. The price was in budget and decided to purchase the vehicle. After getting numbers and paperwork in process, 2 other women showed up to look at the car. At this point I was signing the paperwork agreed on, and they still allowed them to drive and test the car out. Ive never been to a dealership that even pulls something like that. Cont. on to finance dept up the street and got official paperwork and be on my way.Come Thursday July 23,2020 I get a phone call from Edgar, Finance guy I signed my paperwork with. He told me that I needed to come in and re-sign everything. I asked him what was going on, and he told me, the car was now 12k (not the listed 14k, and what was on my original paperwork), and couldn’t tell me why all of a sudden it dropped and also that my paystubs I provided were fake and made in Microsoft Word. Now this is where things continued to get sketchier and sketchier. I dont even think that’s legal to say to a customer, which Naval Legal will be looking into this part, and beyond insulting. The new magic car price and my new payment terms where completely different from the original signed paperwork. I asked him who/what/where/why, and he told me he had to call me back. That night no return call.Friday rolls around (July 24,2020), and I called him 2x with no response. He called me back a few hours later, and still no exact details needed but still wanting me to go in and re-sign new paperwork. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable with that, with no hard details and blindly going into a situation, On top of being told Im making my own paystubs. I told him he could forget it and take the car back, and give me my down payment back, and that all of this sounded very sketchy and unethical. He told me he would call back. I told him I would bring the car back at 5:30PM. I get a text that another person, Diego, would meet me at finance and help me from there. When Diego arrived, he asked what was going on and I told him everything and how I would take my business elsewhere that’s appreciated. He mentioned that no one else in finance/dealership there wanted to help him because they didn’t like him, or like helping each other, so he didnt know what was going on. Things just dont add up, they accuse you of things, and no one likes each other at this place? They need to get their act together. Im not one that will accept being treated in this manner or be pushed around/taken advantage of. There were 0 apologies from any of the accusations they put on me or anything. Take your values, ethics and business elsewhere.

It was labor day, my wife and I were looking for a nice affordable car, this was the first place we stopped at, the salesperson was very nice and helpful, but was not able or had no desire to have our business and made no efforts for us to go home with the car we liked.

I went to this place for the first time to have a headlight and wiper fixed and they messed up the air balance on all my tires and took off the valves. The tire light went on on my dashboard, so I took my car to Discount Tire where they checked and fixed the air balance on all my tires! I cant return to a place I cant trust! I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Always come for the oil change, $57.50 work on line coupon. Usually 1 hour wait & no appointments necessary. They also wah your car as well. Staff is always willing to help and very friendly.

Bryan Kocher is not your average car salesman. He delights in giving his customers an honest and straight forward answer to any questions. I find him to be very knowledgeable and honest. He will give you a very good deal as I have received. I wouldnt use anyone else in Ball dealership other than Bryan. Very professional and courteous staff. I took my Honda in for an airbag recall and even though I had never been there, the staff was extremely friendly and very professional. They answered all of my questions and concerns and to top it off they even offered a shuttle drive home. Mind you, given that this was a recall my total charge was zero and yet I was treated like a paying customer. Very happy with them and I will take my car there in the future.
