Such a cute place! We had a cinnamon muffin, maple nut late, and pralines and cream frap. So good! Lots of small boutiques and shops nearby to walk to. Lots of seating, in and outside. Great date spot!

This is a very cozy place to stop in Gruene. You can not only get a great cup of coffee but also see a very smiling staff. Seating outside with your coffee allows you to see friends and new people to be met.

These are the kind of reviews that I really enjoy leaving! 5 STAR experience!!! The atmosphere was welcoming and warm The decor and the lighting was fantastic! When I walked in I was greeted with fantastic hints of coffee notes dancing in the air. Everybody in this place was smiling and when I say everybody, Im referring to not just the staff but also the clientele! The care of the staff is what really impressed me the most. They were very knowledgeable about all the different types of coffees that they offer even telling me a little bit about the origins of each coffee variety. They were very enthusiastic and lively explaining to me that they even roast their own beans on location. Several of the staff asked me if my drink was to my satisfaction and it was very good! The drink I enjoyed was the Jamaican coffee seasonal variety. I will definitely give this business a five star rating. The hospitality, high quality of drinks and friendly warm environment made this experience a highlight of my day.

First time there and I wasnt impressed with the customer service. The batista was too busy flirting with the customer ahead of me and was rude when I was trying to order. She spent her time talking to the male customer and not working on other peoples orders. Im not sure what her problem was. When my drink was ready she was rude when I asked her if that was my drink.The drink was delicious, I definitely want to try and come back.

Their black coffee is great. But then I ordered something else.Their pickup process is a mess. My order was announced and I pointed out that my order was incorrect. The server, under the presumption that I had grabbed the wrong order, gave me a nasty glance before handing off the beverage to the other person waiting, who then proclaimed that they had not ordered that drink either.The drink ended up in the trash, and when I finally received what I ordered (made by the same server mentioned above)..it looked like iced milk. Tasted like it too. As much as I want to hate Strbcks, $hitty little places like this are what allows them to thrive.

Its a nice little spot to get something hot, iced or cold. Always friendly staff. And if you happen to arrive at the right time, you can smell coffee beans being roasted from the back.They have a seasonal drink menu. I love the Summer Smore Latte as a frappe.

The barristas here are very nice. I had the blueberry muffin frappe with no whip and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Top notch!

The only reason this isn’t five stars is because they didn’t have any oat milk. Other than that, great quality in a cute part of town.

This Coffee Haus is my favorite. We just stopped by on our way from San Antonio to Austin to grab some cold coffee and a cinnamon roll. Our coffee was so good we ended up buying a bag of their Texas Pecan coffee. I will definitely come back.

One of the local retailers mentioned that the Gruene Coffee Haus was good, and she was right. I had a cafe mocha which was excellent. The coffee was not in any way bitter. I ended up going back to purchase some espresso beans and a coffee mug to take home. I would highly recommend their coffee!

I look forward to my river trip next year and making this wonderful place part of my annual tradition.

Over the last couple of years we have become regulars at Gruene Coffee Haus, because for us, no other coffee shop we’ve tried compares. The girls are always sweet, they’re super quick and it’s by far the best chai latte I’ve ever had! Every time we have friends come into town, we bring them here. They have a wide selection, offer multiple milk alternatives, and from what we experienced, they handled COVID with professionalism and care. Highly recommend!

Place smelled amazing. Bought a bag of blueberry beans for a friend back home. Was told I couldnt get a cup cos they were out of blueberry coffee... okay. Barista couldve had better attitude through the whole transaction but maybe she had a bad day I guess.

I needed to have ALOT of hot chocolate made for an outdoor movie night and Kelly and the team at Gruene Coffee Haus made that happen for me!I didn’t want to order 20+ individual hot chocolates so Kelly worked with me to figure out what with be the most conducive way to fulfill this to-go order. She gave me a 3 gallon container that I was able to pick up and bring back the next day. The container was perfect and kept the chocolate hot for hours into the night.A BIG thank you to these guys for help making it happen.The hot chocolate itself was amazing, everyone loved it. I’ll be going back here for orders of all sizes. Thanks again Kelly!

This place has THE BEST coffee in town, in my opinion! The girls who work here pay close attention to detail are the absolute sweetest! I won’t buy coffee from anywhere unless it’s from Gruene Coffee Haus. I’d definitely recommend anyone who loves a great tasting fresh cup of coffee to come here. You will not be disappointed!

Best coffee and atmosphere in New Braunfels! Their seasonal roasts are awesome but my go-to is the Texas Pecan. Great place to sit, inside or on the patio, and have a cup. Super friendly staff and strong WiFi. Even during Market Days the service is fast.

This place has a great home style/true Texas coffee house feel to it. Prices are reasonable but so worth it since the coffee is rated grade A in my opinion. Perfect for travelers, dates nights, or even just to stop by. Overall worth the visit. Staff is very friendly.

Really like the coffee but no food options but breaded (muffins & loaf breads) and cookies. GCH used to have at least 1 pastry (Apple fritters), but no more, so we only visit here about 1/3 of what we used to for our daily coffee/pastry run.Upped 1 star due to responsive ownership. Hopeful that GCH can improve, even slightly, food offerings - would be strong 5 stars!

I was in the during *social distancing* time and I really wanted some good coffee. I came here and they were doing their version of curbside ordering. The directions were clear, menus/hand sanitizers available and service was quick. Add to that great coffee and fun summer flavors- I had a great experience! I look forward to coming back next time I’m in the area, social distancing or not.

Good coffee and friendly staff. They have a back area that is perfect for meetings, and they have board games. It is attached to Got Toys, so it can be a little loud. Parking is very limited, but that is very normal for Gruene. If you want a true small town Texas feel, come here!

Good service, good coffee, good environment. I like it all! I got their signature blend, iced, and it was delicious. The cashier was able to tell me exactly what was in the blend. Smooth with the right about of coffee bitter/taste. Yum! There was a generous amount of seating, very comforting atmosphere. Would come again next time I am in New Braunfels for sure!

Hands down the best coffee shop that I’ve ever been to. All of their coffee is freshly roasted on site. I always leave with a bag or two so I can make it at the house.

I ordered a cappuccino and it was bad as in Starbucks bad milk to got and coffee bitter. I went there because the name had roasters. My first clue was when I asked the attendant What roast was the espresso bean? And I got a blank look back. Ordered a cappuccino, and hoped for the best. There are two types of coffee drinkers. Those who drink to wake up and those who drink to savor the complex notes of the coffee beans. This place is not for the latter.

This coffee shop has a very nice feel to it. They roast their own beans which is always exciting. They did not offer a pour over on their menu but when I asked they were happy to offer it and excited that I asked. The staff was extremely friendly and seemed happy to be there. Would definitely come back.

Best coffee ever... We buy the Texas Pecan by the pallet... Okay maybe not but we drink a lot of it. Its also a nice place to get it of the fray on those Gruene festival days if you know what I mean.
