Firstly, Is Jennifer the receptionist/office manager. Her voice, pleasant attitude and helpfulness was my first impression and is very important. She gets an A+ rating. Then I met The man who tested my hearing and Karen, rep from Starkey were great. Both knew their jobs perfectly well which gave me confidence because of how much they believed in the product. They both wanted the best type of hearing aid for me....not just trying to make a sale. They both get A+ rating as well. As you can tell I was very impressed with the whole experience. I had an issue with tinnitus effecting my hearing. Lamar took the time to discuss my issues and come up with a solution and then fined tuned the sound generator in my hearing aids to help me find a sound and level that helped me mask my tinnitus to a point where its manageable. Thanks.

My hearing aid wasn’t working properly and I was expecting to leave it with New Sound so it could be repaired by the manufacturer, but they were able to fix it in a manner of minutes at a reasonable cost. This is a very competent hearing aid office.

To begin with, I give the staff, Lamar, 5 stars. He’s great to work with, attentive & always helpful. But their product is not an equal. I recently purchased the ‘top of the line’ hearing aids. I upgraded to the newer models because of their Bluetooth connectivity but I have off & on problem with this. Mine have issues with continuously streaming to both ears. My phone can be laying next to me & it will suddenly start to fade out in one ear. This is really aggravating when working out. My cheap earbuds do a better job. Very disappointing.
Can not give a high enough review of Lamar Suttles and New Braunfels New Sound. He assisted me in a problem that was plaguing me for awhile and Lamar was able not only to tweak my hearing aids but also showed me a couple of tricks to enhance my hearing experience. Thanks Lamar

I am very please with the service at NewSound of New Braunfels. I have used this facility for over 8 years. Yvonne is very helpful in answering my questions and setting up my appointments. Lamar is a great hearing specialist in my opinion, he keeps working with you to set your hearing aids up to the proper levels for a great experience.
Woman at the front desk Yvonne got an attitude when questioned about price for repair. The audiologist never even did a consultation with me, terrible business manners and didnt seem like he was interested in me. I guess because I wasnt buying a new aid. I was charge nearly $500 for repairs with express service $60 some odd dollars, I get a call a day later telling me i needed to pay $300 more for additional repair, I even questioned them about this the first day. If the Audiologist would have been more professional maybe this would have been avoided. When I picked up my hearing aid I paid the additional fee, I could feel the attitude coming from Yvonne the women at the front desk. My repaired hearing aid should have been adjusted as its a digital aid and also because the internal works were replace, but this was not suggested and the Audiologist never came up front to make sure I was happy with the sound, volume, fit etc.Im not upset about the expense spending $800 for repairs, my Aids cost me almost $7,000 Im upset with the way I was treated. Im a life long hearing aids wearer since I was 5yrs old over 55 years traveled all my life and having to use different Companies to service my aids and AudiologistAll very friendly and knowledgeable. This company in New Braunfels Txis lucky I even gave them 1 star/ Bad attitude. Poor professional ethics.
I am very pleased with the people at New Sound. They are always friendly, helpful, and very attentive to any hearing situation I may have.
