The homes are gorgeous. They offer land and home packages. Very helpful. You can apply with lenders that specialize in FHA and VA loans.

Clayton Homes in New Braunfels was amazing. The entire staff is helpful and polite. They made my home buying experience satisfying. So I want to give thanks to all of the Clayton Homes family. And a special thanks to Joe Rincon, the salesman who helped us buy our first home. He pointed me in the right direction and in 3 months it all fell in to place. So thank you again. Rude, Terry could care less about helping us when she learned our property was more than a 100 mikes away. They would not deliver and she bad mouth the other local dealers that would deliver. Clayton Homes is much better in other locations.

Great looking small single and double wide mobile homes!

We were new to the buying experience of manufactured home & land, Clayton Homes was there for us through every step in the process. Their involvement didnt stop the day they gave us the keys, five months later they are still answering questions & helping with all the little things that come up that we have no idea about because we’re new to all of this. Everyone that we worked with in the office or our new hone has always followed CDC guild lines & made us feel safe.

These homes are so beautiful! I was helped by Valorie Canales who was very informative. She answered every question I had which made my experience a great one! Covid precautions were taken seriously which is also a plus. The only problem I had was deciding which home Im more in love with.

If I can give zero stars i would. Came by to see what options they had and was turned away because I wasnt ready to purchase. They blamed it on covid procedures. I told them not ready because I want to browse first. And they obviously didnt have anyone there because the parking lot was empty. All I wanted to see was a home that had a large porch & wanted to ask if it came with the home or was it an additional build. But woman ( of age ) came to the door and said no we couldnt even step on their lot to view from the outside. Wow, just wow. SMH.... how does this location want customers without letting them to browse first. SAME ON YOU SALES ASSOCIATE AT CLAYTON HOMES!!

Clayton Homes in New Braunfuls really deceived and disappointed me and my family. We Bought a modular home and trusted them to set it up on our land that was purchased a few years ago. We thought our dreams were coming true, Little did we know the nightmare just began. The contractors that Clayton uses (Ramos construction) are incompetent and unorganized and will not communicate with anyone unless Clayton gets involved. Ramos contracted D.K. drilling well company to service an old well on the property everyone was informed that this well would need to be checked due to it not being in use for a number of years, D.K. drilling replaced the pump and supposedly checked it out.No one said it was not going to work. The problem was a secret between D.K. drilling and Ramos construction more water was trucked to my storage tank without my knowledge to appease the septic company because they couldnt even fill it with water to test it. The septic company had to install the septic in my front yard where its visible and heard because Ramos Construction couldnt coordinate with the company to come before the house showed up and was in the way. They dug two trenches through my asphalt driveway for power and water and left my driveway in that condition just to show me the fine print on the bid not responsible for damage to asphalt very unhelpful very un professional. They threw brush that I cut,over exposed pipes just did a really poor job on most everything. Clayton Homes will back these guys up because they are the only ones who install modular homes. My front fence was bull dozed and left in a pile,drive way ruined, septic tank in my front yard, no water from day 1. After Clayton Homes New Braunfuls gets your money they will move on to the next one,over promise and under deliver. The management is snarky and unhelpful the sales people will promise you anything you want. Famous last words from Ramos Constuction was its not like we are gonna leave you hanging. Last thing I was told by Kim at Clayton homes was a big fat no when I asked If I could at least get a tank of water to hold my family and I over till we can get another well company out. avoid this place just spend the extra money find someone that knows what there doing.

READ YOUR CONTRACTThey had two months to build and deliver our house.The built and delivered it in two weeksSince we purchased our home we are not happy with our home or the work done by Ramos construction. I personally hate my house.Do not trust Joe or Kim. Do not trust anyone from the home builder Southern energy homes.They do not care about any of us. They will take our money and give us a home that is worth half the value with lots of issues. The home builder only fixed some of the issues and then closed ouraccount.We are still waiting for the appliances to be replaced and all of the drawer brackets in our house arrived broken. Among multiple other issues.We had 7 pages of issues that needed to be addressed.They closed our account as an act of retaliation for reporting them to HUD.HUD did not do anything to help.The HUD inspector was joking and trading stories. with Clayton and the home builder during the inspection.He refused to go under the house or above to inspect.They refuse to fix anything else. Due to our contract we cannot sue, so there is nothing that we can do.I am an armed forces veteran with 2 small children and two disable in-laws that live next door to us. My wife and I take care of my in-laws.The majority of the money used to pay for our home came from the death of my wifes father.He was killed by an 18 Wheeler when she was a little girl.No one at Clayton homes, Southern energy homes or Ramos construction care about any of those facts.They have cheated us, one of them sued us and they all have caused heartache for our family.Our dream has become our nightmare and there is nothing that we can do about it. We spent every dollar that we had.There is nothing left.They could care less.I wouldnt be surprised if Kim retaliated by refusing to fix anything else as well because of this review.Thank you very much for your time.

Extremely nice manufactured homes at very affordable pricing

We had a great visit! We just started considering moving from North Austin to a home with land. Alonso was a great guy! He built that rapport with us and he even created that sense of urgency! Good job! They were having a open house and let us check out all their homes without the pressure. We fell in love with a few of their homes. We chatted about our desire to be away from the city and gave some land. Thank you for a great experience!

I purchased a home in 2017 and have had nothing but issues with it since. I have made NUMEROUS phone calls but have not had a satisfactory resolution. Here is a list of just a few of the issues with the home: interior walls have cracks, stains present on carpet on install and lumpy in some spots, shower in master bath doesnt drain properly, 2 of the bathroom doors will not stay open, visible seams and nail holes in unfinished crown molding throughout the house, kitchen cabinets are missing side finishing trim as is the island, roof tiles have fallen off, deck wood is splitting, and more. When I complained to their customer service that the deck screws were coming out I was told, Screw them back in! When they sent someone out and I showed them how the guest bathroom toilet was put in crooked I was told, Thats how theyre supposed to be. I then told him if thats the case then other 2 toilets were put in wrong. (Haha, yeah right!) When I showed them how the light switch to the master bathroom was put on the far wall instead of over the sink as shown in the model home, I was told, Thats because you cant put electrical near a sink. (Yeah, ok) I have to have a night light so I can use the bathroom at night and not trip and fall before getting to the switch! Again, I have been treated like a complete brainless idiot. Its as though they feel they can treat me this way because Im a woman and maybe I wont know any different. My warranty is due to expire in just a few days and I am writing to Kevin Clayton to request resolution and will hire an attorney if necessary.

Lee and Jeni are amazing made our family dream came true they worked so hard to complete our dealEdit: We closed last week Thursday everything I thought was going fine the fence wasnt up but it was raining had been since Thursday. The construction company they use Ramos said all my fencing material was in that Monday when it started raining and its a 2 day job so my logic is when it stopped raining they would put the fence up. Stopped raining Saturday my logic maybe they dont do work on weekends. Monday comes nothing I call Ramos Tuesday lay in office Jessica promised to call back nothing. So that evening I called the contractor Cecil he told me because my job was to be completed last week but it was raining they put me from the top of the to do list to the bottom and he didnt know when they would get to me (how does that work). The reason we wanted a fence is am 4 months pregnant twins disabled vet, my husband works 16 hr days and we have 3 great Pyrenees that weigh over 120+ lbs I cant keep walking them. Ramos has been paid and wont finish a job if Clayton recommends them go with someone else who finishes work. Ramos has a week before I start calling incense boards, BBB, and etc.

DO NOT BUY A CLAYTON HOME. I bought a brand new home from Clayton homes 7 years ago. Unfortunately Ive had nothing but problems from the a.c. unit lately. Its going to cost me $5000 to get a new unit put in. Its very sad they want your money but put bad equipment in these homes.

Staff isnt the best with communication. Felt left out of the loop every step of the way.
