It was okay, it seems as soon as I mentioned VA the guy was negative. Everything I liked he would say,well this will be gone because VA takes so long, etc. Weve bought through VA loan before and everyone the was positive and didnt seem to mind, this guy was telling me all the negatives of VA loans, instead of we can work with that. so I guess well go elsewhere.

Edward is a very nice person. He will communicate with you and keep you posted. And he doesn’t respond that means he’s busy! But trust me he will answer you ASAP, when he’s available. If he doesn’t know something he will make sure and ask. He is very patient even though I kept calling him. I recommend for you to go with Edward for him to show you around your new/future home!

Rude. Rude. Rude.... I’m so glad I didn’t give them my deposit! I’m taking my business elsewhere! I just had a few questions before I handed over my cash deposit to Robert, I believe he is the manger. What an A-hole! He acted as if he didn’t have time for me or my questions. His responses were very short and then when I asked him about it he walked out of the room. I sat there for a little over an hour while he took his lunch break! I’m glad I didn’t see it through. My advice take your business to another business. If they act like this now what happens if I would of gave him my 30 k deposit.

Edward is a really good sale person he made getting a house in a month i got approved really fast by the bank also Edward keeps you updated on everything, everyone there are really nice people Robert the manager there is good on explaining everything on what’s going to happen just made everything go by fast it was a good experience buying a house from there.

I purchased a home from MHC in New Braunfels. They helped me with financing as well as a custom order for my home. They were very friendly and made my home buying experience very easy! I would highly recommend them!

They were very helpful. They took the time to explain the process, to help us fix any discrepancies on our credit and tell us how to get where we needed to be in order to get land and a home. We are thankful for them and all the help and information they gave us!

I drove out to take my wife to see what manufactured homes had to offer to see if she would be interested in doing a land and house package. Keep in mind we own a house already but we’re planning on expanding due to our business flourishing and wanting more space. While walking through one of the homes a very rude guy with NO MASK comes in and states “due to the pandemic if your not a serious buyer you need to go”. I told him what I was doing with my wife since she has never seen the newer looks of the manufactured homes and that we were serious buyers. How can somebody buy something they have never seen. No progress works like that. He states “without running our credit and seeing what we are approved for we should go”. After seeing reviews it makes sense why he has negative reviews and we will definitely be taking our business elsewhere.

The service was great as far as sales go. They didnt waste my time with glimmer and glam. They asked real questions and worked to find something attainable.

I have been waiting for a year for a cabinet and they have not been able to install it. I do not recommend anyone to buy in Legacy housing because they are only there to collect your monthly payments but in attending to your problems they are only excuses. And they say that if you return your house they easily sell it again to other people with the simple fact of not losing because they have not been able to fix my house for a year that I have with them and they cannot fix a simple cabinet but the seller who sold me my house is Robert says that they can easily re-sell the house that I am going to give them that I dont want anymore it has been bad service from all of them.

Buyer beware, bought a Cavalier home from these folks, have had numerous crack issues, they have came out couple of times to put band-aid on it, cracks repaired keep coming back, floors squeak all over the house, wall joist separating in bathroom. I have e-mailed numerous times only to be ignored. what they do is put the issues off for a years so they dont have to repair. last communication I had was the manufacture will be contacting me, yet to happen and MHC will not respond to my e-mails anymore. Would not recommend buying here nor would I recommend buying a cavalier home.

I wont deal with the New Braunfels location again. Decided to wait and wanted my $500 dollars back. After letting them know and texting the salesperson a month later (it was supposed to take 14 days) i was told the check was there but made out to my fiancees name. I specifically told them when I asked for money that I wrote the check and it came out of my account so it needed to be back in my name. Since they chose to ignore that, now Im still trying to get my money back. Dont believe them when they say that its no issue if you change your mind to get refund. Im having to fight for it because theyre making it difficult.

We should have read the reviews before coming to this place, they tell you if for any reason you decide you dont want the home or anything youre free to back out at any time and get your money back as long as you request it before closing....but as soon as you ask for your money back they give you the run around and Robert is hatefull and ugly with you he is very unprofessional and yells at you when you ask for money back! It has been 2 weeks already and still no money posted back in our account. Ive already contacted a lawyer and if we dont see our money back this week we are going to sue.

Dont buy from this place unless you have your own set up crew. The first thing the set up guy did was try to get an extra 300 dollars from me. He only buried the electrical line about 3 inches deep. The water line about the same. Said we had to remove a tree to complete the septic connection and then refused to do the septic hookup because he said all of the underground lines needed to be raised. I ended up hiring a professional plumber who advised me that the tree did not have to be removed and the pipes did not need to be raised. So I ended up paying 500.00 out of pocket to complete the job. They paid this idiot 5k of my set up allowance for maybe 10 hours of sub standard work. And I am out an additional 1100.00 for tree removal and a professional plumber.. They get 1 star because I did get a good deal on a nice home. But it has not been worth all the headaches!

We bought a home for a rental property in October and we got an awesome price on the same house that Clayton was trying to charge us 15k more on!The sales staff were not pushy like other dealerships, and they were all very knowledgeable on all the financing programs to get us the approval that worked best for our situation!

An ok place to purchase a new home if you are going for price, alone. The knowledgeable and attentive sales staff have moved on to bigger things. Those who remain seem to know their stuff. It takes a while to have your new home delivered and set up so if you plan way ahead, you can score on pricing. If you need a home in a hurry, well, thats another story.

I bought a home from them almost 2 yrs ago and they still havent came and fixed the 2 broke windows the siding in the back corner or the unlevel floor in my kitchen. The only thing I can say good about this place is they sure can take your money!!!! Would not refer this company to my worst enemy

My wife and I had been exploring the housing market and decided to take the manufactured housing route. It was a new experience dealing with manufactured housing and our salesperson, Dane, was very informative and answered all the concerns and questions we had about the decision we were making. We never felt pressured to buy and we felt very comfortable in dealing with Dane and the manager, Juan Carlos. We were able to get financed and into the perfect home for my family and I. Called them on Monday and spoke to Pam. She said shed call me to set up an appointment later in the week like Wednesday or Thursday to set up an appointment on Sunday. It is now Saturday and i never received my call backTo top that off i called back several times to hear a shell call you back or get stuck on hold forever! They obviously dont want my business now, so what makes me think theyll help if there are issues with the home if i did decide to go with them.

We purchased a Southern Energy Homes of Texas manufactured home built out of Fort Worth, TX from MHC. SEHOMES abandoned our home on the side of the road a couple of miles from our land after damaging our home by running it into a tree during delivery process.MHConsultants team had to take over and delivered our SE Home to our lot in Wimberley and repaired it nicely. However, we received little to no help from our sales representative as to clarity of the procedures we were responsible for and what MH Consultants were responsible for after the delivery. Our sales representative only complained of how he lost money on our sale and told us point blank that he was out of the process once delivery was done. Poor communication and customer service after the sale made this a 2 star. We also paid SE HOMES for an upgrade they have still not delivered! When we call SEHOMES, they tell us they will get to us when they have time and that was 4 months ago. Very rude SEHOMES customer service once they got their money! And no returned phone calls from Manufactured Housing Consultants to help with an upgrade we paid for but have yet to receive. Buyer beware.

Do not buy from these people not only did I not get approved but they Took my 500.00 down payment and they are taking a long time to give me my money back. And the guy who was trying to get me a home quit his job so I’m thinking he ran off with my money.I pulled out because I got pre approved for aHouse on land not a modular home. And I should have listened to the comments on google.

They sold my husbands name to a third party without written consent to do so. Now they are continuing to give us the run around on the refund they owe us. Do not use this company if you dont want your information sold.

My mom is a very demanding person and he was very understanding all the time. He explained everything to us step by step and was with us throughout the process. The truth is I would not recommend because they looked bad on promises that they did not fulfill, they promised me things that they did not fulfill and until now they did not give me anything, try to contact them so that they fulfill what was promised and they did not answer they only refused to answer in my experience I would not recommend them 😠

Too bad I have more than an hour waiting in line and more than 2 weeks waiting to fix the duct of the ac that they left on the floor and it got sick as a result of that I get a lot of light ... but when I pay them the house until it comes out they put their fingers to him to count the ticket and it is always the same thing that the contractor has not called them while I fight is not fair
