They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. After replacing my cracked screen, I noticed some functionality still wasnt working. They immediately replaced the screen two more times until it was working. Its important to note that I paid for the higher quality screen, which came with a lifetime replacement. But in either case they were eager to make sure I was happy, and patiently talked through any concerns or questions I had. A few weeks later, I came back because I hadnt registered my screen yet and the 30 day window had expired. They printed me out a new receipt so I could register my screen to be sure I didnt miss out on the lifetime replacement if I needed it. During this second trip there, I also bought a power bank external charger for my phone. It didnt work. I came back and told them, and we tested it together, and they gave me another one, which did. Be honest with them and tell them what you want and theyll meet you where you are and provide FANTASTIC customer service. Highly recommended to bring your questions to them to see if they can repair your devices. If they can, they will certainly try and work with you until the job is done right.

I tried something new, I mean I could of went to a mall stand and got it fixed for $40 cheaper and 30 minutes shorter but they did a good job . going to be honest i’ll probably go back to elm city wireless or the mall next time god forbid I crack a screen

The staff efficiently, politely and honestly diagnosed and repaired my device. They showed me exactly what was wrong and what I might do about it. Sign-in was a little more elaborate than I would have wanted at point of sale, since I thought I had already provided my contact info on-line in advance, but that is a small complaint. Item was fixed within same-day time frame they promised. All good, would recommend and use again.

Failed to fix issue and tried to charge me more to fix it again. When they took my money they said this is a good phone When I didnt want to pay a lot more after they returned me a defective repair they said crazy stuff like. We dont fix that brand., Its the manufactures fault.,Our agreement you signed says we may not be able to fix it. Ask this while adamantly staying I wouldnt get a refund. Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere for your repair needs.

I crashed and my iPhone SE 2020 screen broke. I went to CPR and they gave me some options. The cheapest option was for my screen to be repaired and they with their machines did this as the chance of repairing it was low. I only paid $ 70 and remain very satisfied. If you have any equipment that needs repair I suggest CPR in New Haven.

Over and above the norm. Iri had my Iphone 7 repaired within 2 hours of my dropping it off. Had a minor issue after the repair which he was going to correct for no charge, until I dropped the phone the night before I took it there. He still offered to do the repair free (I pay parts only). I felt he was being overly generous so we agreed to a 50/50 split on the labor.This is a business with outstanding integrity. I have an old Nexus 6 that I was going to toss, but Im going to have Iri replace the battery and screen so I have a backup.If your experience is like mine you will be treated politely and fairly. We first went to another repair shop after calling and being told they could fix our iphone same day. After arriving we were then told it would not be ready until the next day. Fast forward a few minutes and we called CPR and spoke with Iri. whom said he could definitely repair it today and within the hour. We arrived within 15 minutes of our call and Iri was kind, prompt and explained our 3 options. We left with a quote time of 45-60 minutes and received a finished repair call in about 35 minutes! My son was ecstatic!! Will definitely return because anyone who has an iphone knows, the screens just do not seem to last lol. Thank you Iri!

This place is the best. I called, they said I could come right in and they would have my phone fixed in 30 minutes. They actually did it in that amount of time and the cost was reasonable. Nerds to Go wanted $200 and it would take up to 3-5 days until they were able to make the repair! Give these guys a try you wont be disappointed.......

Edit 2: while I did update this review in a negative way after some technical difficulties, I am re-updating this review after stopping by the store one more time. An agreement was reached that went above and beyond the call of duty for any repair store and for that I am extremely grateful. An exceptional repair shop.These guys take care of business and quickly. I dropped in during an emergency visit to the area to sort out a broken display on my Note 8 -- not only did they have the part in stock (in 2021, thats not the norm for an older model like the 8) but had the work done in under 2 hours. I did my research before walking in and every other repair shop in the area had an equal to or greater price plus had to order the part. Not so at CPR. Extremely fair and diligent, dont hesitate.

I took my computer to them in the belief that they really can repair it. My computer had a power failure and it wouldnt boot at all. The motherboard had one bulging capacitor near the power input that I suspected to be the culprit. I told them about that and suggested soldering in a new one. New caps are about 7 dollars each. They agreed to take the job and I happily paid the 47.85$ for the job. Only red flag was that the clerk tried to ask my windows password. Why would they need that for a soldering job?They told me that they will contact me the next day or latest the day after that. I didnt hear from them. And the ticket they gave me to follow the repair online didnt work. They use waiver master to store the forms but the code I got didnt let me read them. So I got a bit worried and called them. They assured that everything is on track and they only wait their supplier to provide parts. Weird, I thought. Caps should be pretty standard repair shop inventory. I tried to ask for how long it will take (this was about 4 days in) and they told me that they will contact me later that day to tell me that. They never did.I called them 2 days later only to hear the same explanation, that they are waiting for their suppliers. At this point I started to think that this was a bad idea to bring my computer to them but let it slide because I really wanted to get my computer repaired.So finally after 8 days from the start they tell me that the computer needs a new motherboard and that it will cost 899$!!I could easily buy a new computer with that amount! They tried to do the classic bait and switch scam. Of course I declined and went to get my computer back. I also tried to get the initial money I paid back too but they refused to give it to me. Its their policy they said.So all in all I wasted almost 50 bucks and 8 days and got nothing in return. At home I opened the computer and it was (still) all dusty inside. That makes me think that they had done nothing to the board either.BTW. I ordered new parts and even upgraded the specs a bit and I got everything under 350$. Avoid this place if you can install basic computer parts yourself.

Their expertise surpasses the best technical support you can get from carriers (Verizon, ATT...), phone manufacturers (Apple, Samsung...) or electronic retailers (Best Buy, Costco...). They couple technical know how with absolute business professionalism...their rates are fair and they deliver real value. My Samsung Note 8 died and neither Verizon or Best Buy knew how to recover data stored locally on my phone. CPR said they could do it even though there was no way to power my phone on. They we able to get into the guts of the motherboard and voila...they were able to selectively retrieve everything that wasnt stored on the Cloud. And now my new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is fully loaded. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! CPR New Haven is the BEST!! Dont even think of going elsewhere.

10/10 would recommend coming here! I had cracked my HP computer touch screen and needed to get it fixed. I was able to take it into the store, get a quote, and purchase a new screen all in about 15 minutes. I received a text when the screen had been delivered to the store and told I could bring my computer in whenever I wanted. It took thirty minutes to change out my screen and it is good as new! They even replaced it with the original back so I could keep my stickers!They are also taking extreme precaution during the outbreak: gloves, masks, disinfectant, and customers aren’t allowed past the threshold of the store.Very nice, professional, no hidden fees! I will definitely come back!

Friendly and quick service.

I just came back from the store. Best staff ever. This Hispanic guy helped me out really quickly. My SIM card tray was stuck in my new phone and I was trying to pull it out with my new SIM card inside. I was trying to pry it open myself for 30 mins and almost in tears. I was scared to bring it to tech people thinking it was going to cost me a lot of money. But the tech guy opened the tray and fixed the SIM and SD card back in its place and gave it to me without charging me anything. Super awesome that he did that. Honestly, any big or small tech issues, I am going to them. Also, they are super close to Yale University.

Excellent service, highly recommend to anyone needing phone repairs. They are super friendly and knowledgeable and have great customer service. I have used them twice- once when I broke my screen and the second time when I had a broken phone speaker. Both times they were able to diagnose and fix the problem and were in great communication with me the entire time. Really friendly, attentive service, and quick turnaround. In addition, the store is clean and the staff take all Covid precautions, including wearing masks, having hand sanitizer available for customers, and wearing gloves. Will definitely use them again!

Amazing, fixed my cracked iPhone X in under 25 minutes and it felt like the original apple screen, he also fixed my cracked camera lens, and that took only 5 minutes, and it could not been done any better. CPR was the best, most efficient experience yet. Fast, cheap, and great quality. I highly recommend it. Prices: about $150 for the screen fix and I had a $20 off coupon so the price I paid was $130, other places were around $300. Then the camera lens was about $99, but the gentleman took off 50% because of his kindness, so it came down to $50. Really good experience, highly suggest.

I dropped off my laptop (alien ware) and they claim it was stolen by a break in. I kept getting in touch with them about it and they would just tell me to contact the owner. For months and months they would avoid me and say to me that the owner will take care of me. They would never reach out to me as they would promise, never give me updates on the process, and the owner never answered my calls, voicemails, emails, WhatsApp messages, and text messages.Unbelievable, if I could, I wouldn’t give a star for a review. 0 stars

Fast, friendly, affordable, and excellent work! Took my iPhone 7 in for a home button repair--a very pesky problem thats difficult to fix. They had it done in less than an hour and my phone is as good as new for a small fraction of what I anticipated having to fork over to Apple. Cannot recommend highly enough!!

It took a day and a half to replace my phone screen and when I came to pick it up there clearly was a problem, it wasnt turning on. The first guy handed it to the owner and he messed with it a bit, then cracked it open. Once it came on he asked how many apps I had and began to review them with me to see what could be deleted. I was told the liquid glass couldnt be applied until the app was installed, wasting my time and making me late for work. When I complained about the time it was taking, he claimed to have opened the phone (and used a screwdriver inside) to check it. The screen looks decent but the service was poor.

The problem with my surface was diagnosed quickly and effectively resolved within 30 hours. Id consider this a quick turnaround given that CPR had to order a new screen overnight. My xfinity cell phone insurance is through this place. I brought my Samsung s9+ for a screen replacement. I was on time for my appointment, but had to wait 30 minutes for the store to open. after the screen replacement my s9+ was no longer water resistant and my volume buttons dont function properly. The replacement screen is not OEM spec. Probably some cheap replacement screen from China. Avoid this place at all cost.

Avoid this place at all costs!! My laptop needed a keyboard repair, so I went to them and ordered a new keyboard. I paid for the services at the time, which was around $155. They said once my keyboard was delivered, theyd contact me. Nonetheless, the day came and went, they never called. I called them back the next day, they said the part is taking a while to be delivered. Totally, understandable. However, weeks went by. The store was closed for many of those days and we were unable to contact them. After about a month, I was moving out of state. They said theyd issue me a refund after talking to the store owner. Nothing came of it. I contacted my credit card to dispute the charge, but CPR cell phone did not agree to that. At the end, Im stuck with the charge and nothing came off of it. I repaired my keyboard elsewhere at a cheaper cost. Do not trust this place, they took my money and did not provide me with a part or service.

This Center fixed my phone and Iri is really customer-friendly!My phone suddenly died. I went to Apple Store, and found out that its logic board is broken. Apple Store couldnt fix it, but suggested me to buy a new phone, but i might lose all my data.After extensive research online, I came to CPR . Iri accepted the challenge, communicated with me via phone and text message, and finally replaced the broken power management part on logic board. My phone is alive again with all the data saved! If I could give a zero id be happy. I had a asus touch screen chrome. I paid the fee I was told I needed 169 to get the part then was told a second price after I paid and would not give me a refund and they kept my computer. ill never go there again. that had a great guys working there two summers ago but this new guy knows min. about repairs. i was so hurt i cried. all the money i spent for them to keep my computer. hurt. the old guys were great but this new hot head from last summer needs to quit

If you think you will need board level repair or data recovery, send your phone to one of the many trusted repair centers or technicians that can be found on the web.After being assured that they did board level repair, CPR proceeded to take 4 days to determine that the phone needed to be sent away for board level repair. 22 days later, after calling and getting no updates, they tell me the phone is being sent back and that it cannot be fixed.Everything can be fixed, and data can always be recovered if you send your repairs to the right place. Research first, dont waste your time!

CPR CELLPHONE REPAIR did an excellent repair job. My phone speaker stop working, I could not take or make phone calls. I took my phone to the Apple phone store at Yale. They stated the phone could not be repaired. They wanted me to purchase a new phone for. $1400. I refused their offer. My friend Frank recommended me to CPR REPAIR. I saved $1250. Absolutely wonderful. The experts there are friendly, experienced, and very transparent. They gave us a free quote at a very good price and stuck with it... no hidden fees or anything like that. All of their work is done right behind the desk so you can watch. They really care about their customers and do a perfect job.We came in with a broken laptop screen. They said it was the LCD but we wanted to be sure it wasnt the cable so they did a diagnostic. The diagnostic wasnt free, but they offered to put the money toward the new screen if it turned out not to be the cable so that we wouldnt have to pay extra for peace of mind. They even cleaned the contacts for free.As soon as the new LCD arrived, we brought the laptop in again and they fixed in it 15 minutes. The repair came with a 90-day warranty, though I sincerely doubt there will be any problems after their excellent service.

Service was atrocious, and the repair technician/owner(? ) Iri was very rude, discourteous and untruthful. We understood the shutdown because of a family emergency. But when he reopened, he couldnt find our phone and tried to tell us that one of the phones he did find was ours. After several days of no contact, we visited the store again and were told that he had diagnosed a mother board problem and had ordered a replacement part. Three days later he texted us asking what model phone we had and what the problem was. We responded. After several more days of no contact, we called and were told that he was repairing the phone. A few hours later he texted us that the phone was ready. He said nothing about a mother board problem only that it was liquid damage. When we tried to ask questions about the repaired phone, he told us that he had other things to do. We dropped the phone off on June 10th and picked it on July 1st. It look 21 days to get our phone back and he couldnt spare us a few moments.In reading the negative reviews on this shop - too late as it turns out - it appears that he often claims that he has no record of doing business with the people who posted negative reviews.
