Not a great experience, this place is overpriced and the salted caramel ice cream is a miss. The salted caramel was too sweet and salty it was inedible and the other ice cream we choose was bitter. Would not return or recommend to anyone. It’s ice cream how can it not be tasty ? Try at your own risk I am just mad I wasted my money 😡

First time trying Milkcraft here in New Haven. Ice cream was delicious and so were the toppings. Staff was nice and quick with the order. I wasnt a giant fan of the bubble cone. Ive had the bubble waffle cones at other places and this ones kinda meh. Not sure if mine was undercooked or if thats just how they make them, but it just tasted like a fluffy pancake instead of a crispy on the edges waffle.

Cute but costly. The Mexican chocolate Churro ice cream was excellent with a cinnamon taste and dulce de leche. Expect to pay over $7 for a scoop.

Not the experience I thought we would have visiting this place. It is very overhyped.. The ice cream had no flavor especially for how much it is selling, came out to $20 for 2! You will have a better chance buying delicious ice cream from the store..They serve it to you melted, while it is dripping all over the place. Not professional at all. We had to throw it out. We been to tons of ice cream places but this one didnt wow us at all. Dissapointed.

OMG. Bubble waffle cones are some of my favorite things. Come hungry. If youre lactose intolerant, Im sorry. Lots of delicious unique flavors and creations. Very generous portion. I ate the whole thing and do not regret it.

Great ice cream, be prepared to pay 7 or 8 bucks for a single scoop. Is it gimmicky? Absolutely, but great ice cream is great ice cream.

Pricey- but oh so good. We go mid day after lunch as the line does wrap and go outside the place at night. Super busy spot. I always get the blue ice cream which is sooo creamy and tasty, like butter cookies literally. I’ve learned to just get a scoop in a cup as the first time we did the open donut and it didn’t taste good-like a plain yeasty taste no sweetness, and the bubble cone and be a bit much size wise, so the extra holders were a waste of money for my daughter and I. But definitely a spot we frequent to for some great ice cream. I gave 4 stars bc they should have more then 1 employee on during the day, the wait time was insane for just 2 orders in front of us. It was a Saturday and right after soccer so many of us parents were in there treating the kids after the game.

Made on the spot, nice staff, efficient work! Made as you order, but I didn’t have to wait much.

First time here. Interesting take on ice cream. I had the donut filled with smores campfire, it was good. I think they should use krispy kreme for the donut...Friendly staff. Worth going.

So wanted to see what all the hype was about and have to be honest, totally amazing flavors and servers were nice and polite. The seating area was disgusting.. ever heard of wiping a table or sweeping the floor???? Middle of a pandemic, would have thought the place would be spotless! Will probably visit again as the ice cream was delicious but will ne taking it to go.

This place is great...we went twice and the second time, the lady working the mixing was freaking amazing. Its mesmerizing to watch the liquid nitrogen and how they make this. And its so freaking delicious. Ive never seen anything like this before. I will definitely go again.

One word YUM!You get to watch the freezing effect of the ice cream you order. The waffle cones taste as good as they smell. The delicious flavors creations are endless.

The sorbets was delicious for a non-dairy eater like me. At the busiest time, the wait wasnt long either. I appreciated the attitidue of the staff too! My friends enjoyed their ice cream too, so we had a great time.

Was debating between 3 and 4 stars but the people who work there are nice and work hard so went with 4. Ordered three separate one scoop ice creams and the bill was $15+ which I guess is about what ice cream costs these days at boutique type ice cream stores. The ice cream itself was good but nothing separated it from an Ashley’s or similar type place. The portions are small compared to other places but same as Ashley’s. The issues some people might have is 1) long waits because they are literally making the ice cream while you wait and 2) running out of stuff. We were there on a Sunday night and more people left the line then waited for service… people got fed up with the wait and exited the store. Seems like they are losing business because of how they operate. And then they were out of waffle cones which the server says happens often. You can find equal quality ice scream stores with larger servings and lower prices in CT but not sure if that is possible in New Haven. Worth a try but be prepared to wait and the possibility they are out of stuff.

Cool new Ice cream parlor concept. Very tasty dramatically made ice-cream with unique flavors. Dowsing liquid nitrogen on cream mixtures for fresh individually made scoops. Cool cones and toppings.

Excellent ice cream. You walk in and the smell of the fresh made waffle cones is so inviting. Their flavors are complex yet subtle. Real ingredients and really good quality.

Visited this establishment 10/11/2021, and I can say this place is a complete disappointment. The bubblecone are not fresh, the supposedly best vanilla ice cream had absolutely no flavor at all taste like a whipped frosting that belongs to a cake and to top it off they they had stopped making the churro flavored bubblecone. Definitely will not be coming back to this location.

New Havens Different twist on ice cream. Combo of Milk & food grade liquid nitrogen spun together 4 a great option. Many ppl eat @ Geronimos then walk 50 feet to Milkcraft.

The Milk Cereal ice cream w/ Reese Puffs on the bubble waffle was a delicious dose of nostalgia. So freakin good. I dont know if Ill every experience such food ecstacy again. Its a lot though; consider sharing.

If you ever want to try premium ice cream that doesnt rely on toppings for its flavor and quality then I highly recommend this place!Cool interior design with good use of natural woods, modern music, and great friendly servers that actually care about making good and good-looking ice creams!It may be a little pricey, but the portions are quite large and filling! If you look at Calorie per dollar its not bad at all.P.s.The blue flavor may be super artificial but it tastes like the essence of cookie dough: rich and sweet with hints of salt and vanilla! My new favorite flavor

What a joke. The place wants to be trendy with hip decor and cute ice cream creations, but not only does it not taste good, it takes forever for them to make it. We ordered 3 ice cream which took over 10 mins to prepare, and no one else was in the store! In terms of the flavor, it’s just sugar, toppings, and food coloring. I could get better ice cream at a convenience store.

Yum! Although I couldnt finish it, I had a PB&J Roasted banana in a soft waffle cone. It was delicious!

I would just like to say how great the customer service here is. I came In yesterday with my kids and the two young lady’s working there were fantastic. The girl with the short hair who took my order definitely made the experience worth it. She was so sweet and towards the end she was refilling some stuff and talking with me and my kids and she was just genuinely so nice. She was laughing and joking with them. The other girl made the ice cream perfectly. My kids and I will definitely be coming back and I hope they’ll be there again to make the experience just has great!!

Tastes similar to chocolate custard I had when I was in Wisconsin except this is so expensive (and that was with discount I got from snackpass). It tasted good but not sure if I ever want come back.

Today was my first time at Milkcraft and it was fantastic! There was a long wait but I saw that they were making everything fresh! - cooking the bubble one and mixing the ice cream with liquid nitrogen. It was delicious. They have several different flavors. I had the red velvet bubblecone with the blue cookies ice cream & my husband has the churro bubblecone with Vietnamese coffee. Both were excellent! Definitely will return!!

Be aware they are no longer doing fresh waffle cones or donuts! The ice cream is great but very overpriced if you arent getting the full experience... Ice cream was premade not made to order with liquid nitrogen. Sad because this place used to be way more fun

Went in around 30 min before closing on Saturday . Was told there were 4 waffles left. Asked for fresh waffles and the girl told me the waffle maker was off. Waffles were stale. A Group of people walked in after and staff turned on the waffle maker immediately. Very dissatisfied especially since I anticipate on coming here from FL every time I’m in town.

We were just here buying an ice cream. We have a four year old who needed the bathroom. She was denied the bathroom by the front desk counter person because according to her they have been closed since covid. This is an absolute lie since I have been here previously about three months ago and their bathrooms were open. I called the manager while I outside and informed him of the situation, he stated that the bathrooms are closed because they are using them as storage. I told him this is ridiculous as they have a restaurant full of customers without a working bathroom and that’s what closets are for. Thank God I bought a Mojito across the street at Soul de Cuba Cafe and was able to use a working bathroom. Truly disappointing and ridiculous.

Fresh made waffles and ice cream with great flavor.

Visited on a Friday night at about 10:30. Many Thanks to the staff who kept it together despite it being so busy. They did a great job and got our order done quickly. The place was packed, but the ice cream was well worth the wait. My friends tried the salted caramel and I tried the Vietnamese coffee, all of us with bubble cones. The cones were fresh, warm chewy perfection. The ice creams were smooth and very creamy. A great treat, fun vibe and cool to watch.

I was excited to try this ice cream store because it sounded interesting and unique. The ice cream is made when you order it with liquid nitrogen. The experience is fun, but the ice cream is possibly the worst I have ever had. It was not sweet and didn’t have a lot of flavor. There are several other ice cream spots nearby that are much better.

Best place to have ice cream....staff if very friendly and well trained. Best thing its pure vegetarian place...!!

It’s a hit or miss, mostly a miss and rarely a hit. Only three stars due to the uniqueness of the place and concept. Ice cream wise - always missing toppings, not consistent, the red velvet is not red and the waffle is undercooked to the point it was raw at times.

Its really good, but occasionally youll get hit with a rough night. The ice cream is made fresh but the real seller here are the cones. The bubble cone is a fresh made Korean egg waffle and they absolutely make the treat 10x better. The variations on the cones and the toppings are good too. In the summer the lines can get crazy, but thats because its worth it.

Quite possibly the best chocolate ice cream I have ever had. 1 scoop (which is quite large) was the perfect portion. I chose not to have any toppings and Im glad as it needed nothing. This ice cream is so creamy and has a unique chocolate taste that I cant even describe. I will absolutely be returning to Milkcraft!

Such a fun experience!! But its more than just the fun pictures of the amazing waffle and ice cream display. The waffles are fresh and delicious and the ice cream is amazing, very smooth and creamy, totally different than store bought it even farm ice cream.

Unbelievable Ice Cream!

I stumbled onto this place randomly one day in New Haven. I was like, bubble waffle cone? Homemade ice cream? Amazing flavor combinations? YES! I had the Vietnamese Coffee flavor in a bubble cone, and it was absolutely delicious! Not to mention that the store is beautiful in its own. If you love ice cream and things that are awesome, Milkcraft is the place for you!

Such a disappointing experience! It was my first time after good friends of mine were raving about this spot. I wanted to try a few different flavors to get a feel of what their craft, along with their bubble cone that one of the employees recommended. It turned out that you could get only 1 flavor for $8 in a cone. You couldn’t sample either. The employees explained to me that this was the company’s policy but neither were they able to say why nor were they particularly nice about it.I ended up getting the chocolate ice cream with the bubble cone since I figured that if you have a policy not allowing partons to mix their ice-cream flavors it must be something spectacular. Well, it was frankly one of the most uninspiring chocolate ice creams I’ve ever had.There are so many better ways to load on tones of sugar than this place.

They never have whip cream, what ice cream place you go to and don’t have whip cream, especially for the price you pay. Gone back twice, different days and no whip cream. Sucks
