FANTASTIC SERVICE is what you will get if you come here. It was easy to switch my phones and all the workers greet you and help you immediately and efficiently. Mason helped us today and he was wonderful! The higher price for the phone plans is worth it for the service you get!
The staff are helpful and patient, they do try to upsell, but are not obnoxious. They have staff who are knowledgeable and can help even the most technology illiterate learn to operate their phone.

Went there on a Saturday to upgrade my phone. I was greeted right away and taken care of immediately. Verizon Associate was knowledgeable and courteous.
They are very helpful and are being very careful with their customers to be Covid safe. I felt very comfortable with the rep and he was very helpful and not pushy at all.
This store is pretty good. They are limiting the amount of people in the store which is nice. You can make an appt or drive up and check in. Wait in your car and jam to some music while you wait for them to come grab you. Unfortunately this time they didnt have access to the trade in deal that was online for some odd reason and employee had no idea why. He did explain to me everything about the new plan we were going to and when walked us through changing the service and upgrading my wifes phone through the app. I normally dont like to do this as sometimes there is hidden things with the plans and the in-store guys do a pretty good job of identifying that.
Just switched to Verizon. Angela was incredibly helpful, efficient and professional.

I experienced very poor customer service today. I was treated rudely, and the two staff members I interacted with made it clear they didnt want to help me. I spent almost an hour trying to get service.
I switched to Verizon from Sprint/Team Mobile. At first things were great. Then I started having problems with my phone. I can not get any help. The store will NOT answer their phone. I cant get an appointment to get in the store to get help. The people on the telehelp line cant help me. What a trainwreck of a company. They know because of COVID they can treat us like garbage and there is really nothing we can do but take it. A contract goes both ways. VERIZON is not upholding their end. I am going to go back to Sprint/Team Mobile. Yes I had some problems with them but they at least would try to help me. These people absolutely do not care and they know we have to put up with their horrible customer service. I use my phone extensively for work and Verizon is costing me money. I realize they will write a meaningless response expressing how sorry they are about my experience, yet they will not lift a finger to do anything to actually correct my situation.

Just went here to purchase a new phone, Mason was absolutely wonderful. He took the time to explaine to me all the different phones and helped me select the phone I wanted. I realy appreciated how he didnt try and force me into buying anything I didnt need, and helped me pick phone based off what I told him.

GREAT experience!! I called the Verizon store today at 5:20pm, and talked to Bill on the phone for five minutes. I had Questions about the new iPhone and he said if I had a minute to come into the store so we could go over my options. I got to the store five minutes after I hung up the phone, and I walked out of the Verizon store 20 minutes later with a new phone, car charger, case, glass protector, and wireless charging unit. Bill was super helpful and a great person to help me navigate what to choose from. I would highly recommend this store, and Bill. Thanks Bill!!!
What can I say? Its a Verizon store, but I guess its better than most of the ones Ive visited, now that I think of it. The customer service reps at this store must be really well trained because they are actually truly always able to answer any question I pose to them. And I do feel the genuinely lead me in the right direction. I never feel pressured, just informed, and I dont feel like they just try to make a sale for the sake of a commission. Also, the store is also very well stocked and clean.
My family & I recently changed carriers and we had a great experience at this Verizon. Angela was so helpful and made the experience great! She answered all of our questions and made switching very easy!

I purchased a new phone at this location recently. I was told by the representative who sold me the phone that this location no longer assists customers in transferring their contacts and photos from their old phone to their new one and that instead he would set up a tech coaching phone call for me to do this myself. I thought this was very strange as I have bought phones here before and they always assisted with this simple transfer. I was told I needed to go home, do the transfer, and then take my trade-in (old phone) to the UPS store to ship it off myself. This seems like very simple things that the representatives could handle considering I just spent quite a bit of money. I also noticed another representative in the store was actually doing this very thing for an older customer. So is this something they only offer elderly customers now? Also, I brought in a gift certificate to use toward my purchase. I was then told that I couldnt use it because it was not bought at this location. This was the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard. The customer service representative then went on to try and get me to buy accessories. I informed him promptly that I definitely would be buying my accessories at the store where I got the gift card (Frankfort) since they refused to honor it here in New Lenox. I wasnt sure if maybe that was why they wouldnt help me with the transfer? I wasnt impressed with this location this time around and will go to the Frankfort store from now on where they assist with all of these things.
Best corporate Verizon store in the area. We do lots of business with them. Excellent staff and support. Highly recommend over any franchise.

I was in and out in 30 minutes after switching from AT&T. They made it easy and quick. I got the phone I wanted with the plan I wanted. My rep was very caring and patient while I was getting info to have my number switched so I could keep my current number. I was very pleased with the customer service and will continue shopping with Verizon in New Lenox.

This is the best Verizon place to visit its a new Lenox on Route 30 everyone and I mean everyone there knows everything about Verizon theyre polite they dont rush you they help you whether youre buying a phone or not very knowledgeable if Im stuck on my phone and cant figure something out I drive there in less than 10 minutes I know everything about my problem its worth the trip if you live in Frankfort

Customer service is horrible. My girlfriend went in there to just get a screen protector and an employee told her that her iphone 11 is worse than her x. After she had already bought it. So when i called to just calmly let a manager know she later told my girlfriends mom, calling on a total different situation, that he was just starting a conversation. You dont open a conversation by telling someone there 1000 dollar phone is worse than her last generation. Wont return.*EditNever got a message about this situation or any apology for the rude employee. Glad we ended up switching.
Switching to Verizon has been by far, the WORST decision weve ever made and it all started with this store. To start, youll be quoted the wrong prices by their sales people (even though theyre on the display). The business representative, Johnny, is the worst business representative Ive ever encountered. His level of professionalism is sub-standard. He will tell you one thing, but youll never get what youre promised. And if you do get a portion of what youre promised, youll have to fight to get it. For MONTHS! And youll get your service shut off on Saturdays & Holidays even when Verizon owes YOU money from all the credits youre promised. So, if youre interested in getting duped, paying a lot more than you were told, getting your service cancelled when youre owed credits, getting transferred to more customer service representatives who cant do anything for you and then getting completely ignored by your Business Representative, then you should absolutely use this store & this phone service provider. Otherwise, RUN!

Spent hours on the phone with verizon fixing the wrong ported number an associate from this store did. Also, more hours on the phone with Verizon fixing billing and getting a rebate that an associate from this store assured me was taken care of... It was not. Verizon informed me that this associate did nothing in the system to fix the billing or to get me the rebate. For the hours i spent on hold and fixing these issues i should have gotten the 2 phones i purchased for free.

The staff here is very helpful. The only issue is that every time Ive come here Ive had to was at least 10 minutes to talk to somebody. It must mean theyre doing something right though.
I had to come here twice within the same day to make an exchange within my 14 day window. The first incompetent Guy was a tall middle aged man who choose not to wear a name tag. He tried to make the exchange but an error in my account brought his limited experience to the surface, He didnt ask for help and pretty much stopped helping me. With phrases of Theres nothing I can do.... I then left the store and called Verizon Customer Service. Within seconds they were able to see the error in my account and proceeded to tell me to return to that store and in a sense demand that my phone get exchanged. They were furious that the attendant made no attempt to contact the proper departments to complete my exchange. I then went back. I then get helped by a young man named Bill. He had a Juvenile know it all attitude, despite not understanding my issue at all. Also going as far to tell me my exchange issue was resolved despite having myself spoken to much more educated people on my particular issue. Do not come here if you expect knowledgeable floor attendants to be able to answer your questions above the scope of whats written on the side of the box.

Meh. Took my buddy here when he broke his phone, and they set him up with a new one but didnt get it configured or anything before sending him off. Took him until the next day to finally get all his stuff loaded on to it.
I went in the store to help fix stupid apps that keep popping ip on phone he tried and tried, amd was nice, didnt not succed but 5 stars on customer service

Find a different verizon store if you are looking for technical advice. I have had much better experiences at the one in Downers Grove on butterfield, this one is unfortunately closer to my home.
Been here many times with issues with my phone. NONE of which were ever resolved. Theyve deleted hundreds of my contacts rather than backing them up like they were supposed to. Employees try forcing shitty extras upon you that you dont need. Theyve also lied about product specs as Ive gotten completely opposite answers from different employees on the sam question such as if a specific phone model has a USB 2 vs 3 port.
My husband and went in today because his phone would acknowledge his SIM card. We brought it to the first representative that helped us and he said you need a new phone because this one is bent. Looking at the phone we did not see a bend. In addition, the rep would not even look at the SIM card but instead tried selling us both an iPhone 7. When I asked about the monthly fee he said it was no more than I was paying now but I would have to trade in my phone. My husband works a maintenance job so him getting a new phone was out and I wanted to get the small 6s. The rep then told me they were out of the 6s and the 7 was the only way to go. At this point my husband and I were agitated because of the pressure to get a 7 and the man kept waking away when we had questions. So we left and went to the TTC down the street who got the phone working with the current SIM card but stated that if the problem occurred again to come back in and they will give us a new one free of charge.If you are going to a Verizon store go to TTC. They are located by Charles Morris Salon and they are honest and friendly.
Was unimpressed with the service this girl gave us seemed TO blame problems on everything else AND you need a new phone. Other workers were helpful to the people they took care of though

This is for all of those people tired of sales people omitting the truth. We are a business customer that has over 10 lines and has bought several items from this store previously. (All great experiences, it seems if youre buying something, you get great service!) Until, one of my supervisors broke his phone in the field. Luckily, his line had insurance so I told him to go to Verizon and get a replacement phone. He told them he was a business customer with insurance and needed to get a phone that same day due to him using it for work. He was told by a Verizon rep that he DID NOT have any options to get a replacement in store and would have to be mailed a phone. This is NOT true. In fact, every customer with insurance has the option to call Asurion (Verizons insurance) and see if they will approve the claim (you need a valid reason) for an EMERGENCY replacement. So I went into the store and had to defend this point to the manager who refused to acknowledge that the salesman knowingly omitted this option from us. I get that this happens in sales constantly, but once a customer brings it to the managers attention that the store is NOT putting the customer first, he needs to immediately acknowledge the wrongdoing. Instead, the manager fed me policy b.s. which translated to we dont help our customers if the situation is not beneficial to us. It sucks that you cannot trust corporate companies and have to research (or have insight to) the business to make sure youre not being taken advantage of. Sorry, Verizon in New Lenox... You do not deserve our sales if you do not provide honest service.
My phone has a hardware problem and they ordered me a replacement. In and out in 10 minutes.
Went there to update our account. Wanted to look at a new phone while we were there. Ended up leaving with a Google pixel 2. I could not be happier with this phone. Has been nothing short of great for the 3 weeks Ive owned it.

Ive had mixed experience here. On the one hand when I first purchased my phone the sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable about his products. He helped me get a great phone for my job even though it cost less than many of the other options available at the time and overall was spectacular. Ive been on the store three times since then and have only run into complicationsI had to replace my phone because of a defect that lets the screen crack easily and was told that was a lie (even though Id researched it and asked a rep over the phone about what could have caused the crack when all I did was sit at my desk all day) but said hed do me a favor and replace it for free. Turns out this is policy for the type of phone I have due to that defect. Then there were problems getting my replacement phone and it turns out the rep didnt back up any of my info from the broken phone despite assuring me me would. I lost a year of photos of my son and brother and parents that Ill never be able to get back.The other two times werent much better, but at least those two didnt lie to my face and were pleasant despite having no idea what they were doing. So overall Ill go back there because its convenient and the workers are kind but any time I need real information Im going online and/or calling the Verizon helpline.

Ive been in there twice, once to switch to Verizon from AT&T and the second to add a second line. Both times I was not made aware of charges that would be on my bill. I like the coverage that Verizon offers but they are not upfront about their costs and their corporate customer service phone support is horrible compared to AT&T.
