I needed a gift and couldnt make it in the store. The sweet salesperson that I talked to on the phone made sure I had it delivered in time but actually delivered two days earlier in the pouring rain!! Shared with friends and will absolutely be back! While in New Orleans researching my novel, I stopped in to buy a present for my grandmother in law, having gotten to know the store on previous visits to this fabulous city. Not only did I find the perfect gift (ceramic wall art of her alma mater, the New Orleans’ landmark Sacred Heart), but the ladies who work at Judy’s gave me research contacts, advice, and firsthand accounts of life in the city back when ladies weren’t allowed to wear pants to Galatoires. Judy’s is an institution and a model of what a local small business should be.
