Great gift shop to go to in new orleans, I bought a saxophone jazz player figurine and Im happy to have gotten the chance to get the figurine to keep as a memento but the shop people were very nice and asked good questions on preferences when looking for something to buy
Nice little souvenir shop with thing related to Norlans of course and some funny wine and alcohol specialty souvenirs....Other side has seasonings and food type things to bring Norland home with you.
This is the absolute best shop in the French Quarter. Clean and has quality gifts. Friendly staff and not trashy like many others around.
Very helpful, friendly staff! Great shop, a tourists dream! Literally a gift for everyone can be found here. Glad i took time to drop in!
Amazing gifts for friends.
Everything under 1roof. Something from about every country. You could spend all day and never see it all. Its a Must See
We thought they had the best designed T Shirts compared to the other shops. Theirs were unique, unlike the other shops which all seemed to have exactly the same designs. The shirts we snagged were thick cotton with a local NOLA artists exclusive designs just for the shop. Other items in the second section had some great spices hot sauces, cocktail mixes etc.. Neat store and a nicer quality of souvenir type things.
Liked,it wasnt to expensive!
Fantastic experience. Great merchandise. Extremely helpful and happy employees.
Very expensive! Dont buy here. I found the same things in other places wayyyyy cheaper. Just walk like 2 or 3 blocks around and you will see.
Was a great place to visit
Great customer service!
The lady was very rude the minute we walked in. Was in our face and taking pictures of us. Yelling at us to put masks on as we are putting them on! Walked out without buying our 6 shirts we walked 30 mins to get!
I originally came for pralines, but the tortues stole the show! If you love caramel, get these! I got the salted caramel and am 100% going back to try more flavors. The caramel is unbelievably soft and probably the best caramel Ive tasted yet. Somehow it doesnt get stuck in your teeth and the tortues also arent too sweet, unlike the pralines.
It was not as good as I expected. I had seen pretty well ALL stellar (5 to 4 star) reviews online and I was really looking forward to visiting the Toulouse Royale gift shop. But I was rebuffed and as a result disappointed. Naturally, with a surname like Toulouse and the shop being on the corner of Toulouse and Royal streets, I was curious to see if they had any Toulouse Street merchandise. First, I looked all around myself and saw t-shirts and other merchandise celebrating just about every other street in the French Quarter. I approached the young lady behind the counter, and I asked, Do you have any Toulouse t-shirts or other Toulouse merchandise? She impatiently and curtly said, No! Then I appended the statement, Oh, thats too bad. Our name IS Toulouse. She simply gave me a, Hrumph! and went right back to whatever was so interesting that she was reading at the counter between her and the cash register drawer. Wow, that WAS NOT what I expected after all those OTHER nice reviews. Simple polite question presented in a polite, obsequious manner and thats the kind of answer I get?
Great store highly recommend
Best gift shop in the French Quarter. There are a lot to choose from, but this store has the perfect assortment of cute and practical souvenirs either for yourself or for friends and family. We did most of our shopping here.
There is something for everyone here. We bought lots of items and came in several times. Very friendly staff!
Great place to get your NOLA gifts for friends, family and yourself. Reasonable prices compared to most places in the quarter.
Great gifts. Good quality products and ever changing variety. Friendly employees. Regina is awsome.
Love this gift shop! Great gifts of good quality & oh those pralines!
Great little giftshop with cool gifts. One of the better shops around burboun street. Definitely would recommend
Wonderful store. Staff is great!
A modestly priced gift shop that is full of interesting items that you won’t find in those endless gift shops on Bourbon Street.
Great price on Beignet mix!
Friendly staff,clean,great gifts!
I have been to New Orleans many times. This was the first and ONLY time I have ever been treated rudely. I was interested in a cheap little fan and it wouldnt open all the way. The clerk became angry with me and another clerk actually came over to open it for me. When I said, Great Ill take it, he literally said... She can ring you up, Im on break. Needless to say, I did not buy the cheap little fan. Hardly a loss for the business, however, I WILL tell everyone I know to avoid the place and I will not go back again to purchase the MANY souvenirs I buy every trip.
This was my favorite place to shop for souvenir stuff. Great selection of something for everyone: cute stuff, historical stuff, nothing cheap, junky, or raunchy. I highly recommend it.
Great place for unique New Orleans gifts
When you are on vacation you have to think of all the people who didnt get to go on vacation with you. This is a great gift shop to buy them something to show them you thought about them while you were gone and prove you didnt spend your entire vacation drinking.
Great selection of souvenirs and the nicest owners!!!
Tourist store with good selection of tchirts, masks, real baby alligator head souvinors!
Lots of reasonably priced souvenirs and gifts
Fun shop with lots of souvenirs.
The women working here are rude. Not just to me, but also anyone they were supposedly serving/helping. They are literally the only rude individuals we encountered on our trip to the city.
Pleasant staff and good prices
Nice gift shop with a variety of merch to bring back to the family
They have alot of variety gifts but t-shirts are kinda pricey.
Pick any tourist shop in the quarter and you get the same experience. None stand out more than the other.
Nice items for sale and nice service
Love their shirt designs
Best store for souvenirs. Went back the next day!
There arent many souvenir shops in the French Quarter, though there are some hot sauce ones that do have some souvenirs. Anyway, Toulouse Royale has a bit of everything--food, clothes, and knick knacks. I got a cute racerback tee for around $20. I was going to get a magnet that had the street sign for Royal Street, but looking at it closer, it was pixelated as if it was printed out from a home computer. The store has two entrances: one side focuses on food while the other has more clothing. Theres also a clothes section for babies/children.Its a nice place to get last minute items for giveaways. The stores at the airport have the same stuff, but at a much higher cost.
Kudos to the cashier, who was extremely friendly!
Nice store, exelent costumer service
Has cool souvenirs
Got some neat souvenirs!
Great selections
Lovely staff
Nice gift shop!!!
Super cool store
The best souvenir shop
A good address for tasty and colorful souvenirs and for some rooms like keychains a little cheaper. I am always amazed at the price of kitchen towels at +10 dollars😱
Great NO souvenir shop in The French Quarter, with everything for sale that has to do with New Orleans, nice shop and friendly staff!
Werewolf Jovon, Ofina!
Excellent place!!!!
