My experience with Safeguard was excellent from the information provided on their website through signing a contract for the rental of storage unit. The questions I had were answered by personnel at the main number who were professional, pleasant and knowledgeable.Domenick, the facility manager at the New Rochelle location showed me the site and made the rental experience easy and efficient. He took as much time with me as I needed to be comfortable renting from them. I would recommend highly this company.

Ernest was so helpful, and took time to explain everything. Accidentally I rented the wrong type of storage unit, but quick and efficiently Ernest had available the right size unit I needed. This place is so clean, safe and close to home!

2nd time contracted with Safeguard! Many years in between but stellar cleanliness and service intact. A few similarly priced competitors are nearby and I did do some research.The extended hours (till 11:00 PM) is a strong differentiator here and it’s a stand alone facility, easy in and out. Plenty of space outside and in to navigate. 2 elevators. And music streaming throughout :) the cleanliness is tops though. Other places had some serious rodent issues that was something to avoid no matter what deals are being offered :/

I have had 2 storage units at Safeguard Self Storage for a period of approximately two years and was COMPLETELY satisfied with Safeguard. All the units are monitored 24/7, air conditioned, very clean and very secure. Both security personnel, Domenick and Ernest, were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There are so many choices in New Rochelle for self storage, after reading previous reviews, I visited this location. Im very pleased with my choice. ERNEST (the guy who I interacted with) was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He greeted me (although he was finishing up a transaction with another customer) and acknowledged my presence. He did the same for the customer who arrived as I was wrapping up. Its details like that which make a difference. He explained everything in detail and welcomed questions. The physical space is clean and there were multiple options available. There were also specials which I absolutely love. I had to move out of my apartment on two days notice and Ernest and Dominick helped it happen. I originally rented one large unit and it turned out not to be enough space for my pile of stuff. The staff immediately found a second unit for me so that I could complete my move in one day. With auto-payment on the website, my things remained safe and dry for half a year without any hassle. I just moved out and it couldnt have been easier to complete the process, thanks to Dominick and Ernest. They were friendly, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Safeguard in New Rochelle near Home Depot, and would use them again without hesitation.

This is the New Rochelle Safeguard Self Storage, up the street and behind Home Depot.Very clean and bright office and waiting space. Good camera protection in all of the hallways and in elevators. Wonderful staff run by Dominick, on top of everything!

This is my second stint with Safeguard Storage in New Rochelle - the first from 2014-2019. Dominic is a true pro - always helpful and willing to go the extra mile for you if you have a problem. Ive checked out other storage places in New Rochelle and Mamaroneck and none have the service like Safeguard.

This place is clean, staff are super friendly, and the facility is located just off the 95. It was easy to sign up and we even got a discount for the first six months. Dropping off and picking things up is a breeze, as they have loading areas and carts to use. We will be renting from here for our long term storage needs. Thanks!

Rented a 1st floor unit to avoid the elevator during the Pandemic. They charge extra for an rf key fob to enter the facility so you can avoid having to touch a keypad. They sell padlocks and boxes if you need. You are required to buy insurance, but it is reasonable.The outside and the inside doors both open automatically with the key fob so you dont have to touch anything unless you need the elevator or a cart.There is a large parking lot and plenty of carts available to move your items. I bring some Clorox wipes for the cart handle and feel safe when accessing my storage unit during these trying times.

The staff are very nice, constantly cleaning. They have a very secure system with their fab entry after hours and the fab needed to get you to your floor.

The crew there goes above and beyond. The customer service is more like family service. They staff is great.

This is a great facility with a terrific staff. The location has plenty of lighting and parking, and the parking is right at the entrance - VERY convenient and I always feel safe. The access hours are very great. Domenick is a real gem - he and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I love the cleanliness and accessibility. There are always carts available, and on the one occasion where there was not, the staff got me a cart within a few minutes. My brother and I have rented on several occasions - either 1 or 2 units. Each time the staff made the paperwork easy, helped me find a unit that I liked and that was affordable. Communication and regular email notifications was also convenient. I highly recommend Safeguard Self Storage New Rochelle. It was great being able to access my stuff at 10:00 PM, and feeling safe at the same time. Thank you, Domenick!
