Absolutely delicious food and beautiful outdoor seating. Allergen friendly!!! Everything is homemade and they provide samples for everything. Delicious coconut late with lavender syrup. Buttermilk pancakes are amazing light and not heavy. Had 2 one plain one banana chocolate chip. The flavor is amazing. Highly recommend the Cali. I asked for an easy egg not fried so I can have the yolk break on my sandwich. I used only 1 piece of bread. everything is amazing there. Great staff as well very helpful and never make you feel rushed. Will definitely be back soon.

I typically stop by for my morning coffee and work on my laptop. Whenever I stop in Im always welcomed with a smile and great energy. I love coffee and Drip in my opinion has an excellent blend

My family loves this place and my favorite is the Carmel apple pancakes, they are amazing. Staff is so friendly.

This place has gone downhill since covid. What once was a full meal (sandwich complete with sides) is not just a sandwich for the same price. The staff was quite slow and impersonal. I felt like I was there for a training day or something. My smoked salmon BLT was just okay. I miss the old Drip.

Food was great. However tables werent cleared. Old plates still sitting at three tables. Bar top was dusty went to get napkins and disinfectant to clean it myself. May have just been low staffed unsure.

Drip Cafe is one of the greatest local cafés. The food is served fresh and with a smile. I love the French Toast and the fresh brewed coffee. Bathrooms are clean and during the pandemic they are going above and beyond with safety.

My son and I loved breakfast. He had the lemon poppyseed waffle, and I had caramel apple pancakes. He doesnt like caramel. Poor him!

Astounding breakfasts !!

The coffe is hot and service good. But...I am disappointed with the breakfast sandwich. Please fill the bread with the egg and breakfast meat. For the money charged, I expect the egg to fill the sandwich crust to crust and receive more then 1 sausage link cut in half. I had more then a few bites of just toast. If you need to charge more money...please do so I can eat the sandwich and get egg, cheese, and meat in 90% of my bites. I am a regular customer and always try to patronize locally owned businesses. Thanks.

Was here for 42 minutes waiting for 2 smoothies. One smoothie was made quickly, the other was never made. When asked, the server said she knew she had to still make it but never did. The server was rude and quite inept. We did ask for our money back and it was returned.

Always an amazing experience at Drip Cafe! Their signature salad is my fave. The coffee always tastes great (even the decaf I had to drink when I was pregnant! What tasty decaf!?) and the pastries are to die for. I can’t wait to go back! Until then I guess I’ll just have to keep ordering their coffee from their online store!

All that delicious goodness in one amazing dish! If you havent already tried this....its past time you treat yourself!

Look no further! Drip Cafe Newark has it all. Top notch customer service, brunch that is AMAZING and location location location! My personal favorites are the pancakes + the Cali! When In doubt- get one of those! Although I’m not a coffee drinker myself (I know I know) I hear they have some of the best around! Just a knock it out of the park place! Definitely add this to your list of must visits! Or get catering for a special event offsite!

Love coming here for a nice quiet breakfast on a summer Sunday morning. Not too many college kids around and I can eat my breakfast burrito and sip my coffee in peace with a nice big smile on my face.

I met a friend for coffee and pastries at the Newark Drip. The coffee was fresh and the scones were perfectly flaky and not too sweet. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Since then, weve ordered curbside pickup several times -- their pancake kit is wonderful!

My favorite place for breakfast! The breakfast burrito is hands down the best I have ever had. Maybe it is the fact that it has potatoes in it, or maybe it is the salsa. Tastes so fresh and is very filling. I also love the Cali sandwich and the Florentine sandwich. A side of potatoes is a must with breakfast, and the fact that they are a mixture of different kinds of potatoes makes it even better. The banana Nutella muffin and the bourbon apricot scone are incredible! I always get one to go. Great House coffee and lattes! Convenient location with plenty of parking. I love this place!

Recently my friend and stopped in Drip Café in Newark, Delaware. First we ordered a fresh homemade scone and coffee.The scones were still warm and they were delicious. Then we decided to order some breakfast. I ordered The Cali and my friend had the Burrito Bowl.We savored every bite! Our food was fantastic. Of course we had coffee refills.We love Drip Cafe’s coffee but now they are Roasting coffee to sell!!We looked over the selection and made our choices to take home.The cafe was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We always stop when we are in the area.

Unfortunately, they charge extra to add a flavor to your latte, but I still come back to this place! The espresso is unlike any other Ive had before. Its smooth and creamy. Such a delightful flavor. Theres outside seating and plenty of options for food! This is my new favorite coffee spot :)

I love this place! I get cravings for their Cali sandwich or their Crab Hash or their Caramel Apple Pancakes ALL THE TIME. Also, highly recommend their coffee from their new roasting company (Drip Roasting Co.). Their house blend, Bold as Love, is a new level of coffee lover!

Since moving out of Delaware one of the things I miss the most is DRIP CAFE! Oh to be there again to enjoy a cup of their Cafe au Lait with my breakfast!Their coffee is divine! Id love to be sitting out on their porch enjoying brunch with friends. And now they are roasting their own sourced coffee beans! Im grateful I can at least order from this coffee roaster online delivered to my door far far away...

The mocha latte was great, they also make their own carmel. The kickstarter breakfast sandwich this month (October) is delicious.

Been loyal since the Hockessin days and not surprisingly the Newark location reflects the same charming, quirky, yet professional and knowledgeable service, spot on food, and damn good cup of coffee. All the coffee is roasted at the Newark spot so this local spot is now even local-er (take a bag or six home). We always bring our guests to Drip and they always exit as fans.

I sometimes go to the Hockessin location, but it is a bit far for me and so I cant go as frequently as Id like. Thankfully, I stumbled upon the new location in Newark the other day and am pleased to know that the quality is just as good as Hockessin. Due to COVID, it was extremely quiet when I visited so I cant say how busy they would typically be. I imagine that when school is eventually back in session and things are back to normal, it will be packed with students. For now, however, there was no wait to order, a short wait for the food, and great taste at a reasonable price.

Man do I love DripCafe. We have been going to the Hockessin location for years and I was excited to hear they were opening a 2nd location in Newark, which is a little closer to us.They have not disappointed at all. Same amazing service, same fun and funky menu, same great good. Everything was just as good as the Hockessin location. Everyone love The Cali. My personal favorite is The Rachel.

Very friendly staff the 4 times I have gone. Excellent selection of healthy food items in addition to café-type foods (e.g. pastries). Lattes are delicious and price points are fair. Plenty of open seating and a relaxed atmosphere.

No one was in line ahead of us. The three associates chose to keep talking rather than greet us or come ask if we had any questions - we did have one.Upon leaving, we bring all of our dishes to the counter like polite customers. Same thing. No acknowledgement from the staff, no thank you, no good bye.What is management doing for training?Standard food and poor service means no return. Service industry success is about the little things which add-up to a good experience. Cheers.

Friendly staff, quick service, nice atmosphere. However the food is over priced for the quality. Also the chai tea latte here is terrible. It tastes more like black licorice than chai, gross!
