My husband and I are so pleased with our soapstone and granite from Renato and his crew at Tri State Stone. We built a log cabin up in the Adirondacks, and Renato made it look fantastic. Not only does our kitchen soapstone and bathroom granites look spectacular, his opinion on color and finish in our master bath was spot on. Easy to work with, and beautiful finished product. Would highly recommend.

I highly recommend Tri State Stone. Renato is great and walked us through the entire process. He has a massive amount of stone to choose from at the warehouses. The Calacatta Laza Quartz we chose is beautiful, and was installed perfectly. They were very helpful scheduling wise after tons of delays from our contractors. Install was fast and professional as well. Very pleased!

We had an amazing experience with Tri State Stone. Renato helped us choose our counters and coordinate the installation. His attention to detail and care for the project and customer were evident in every one of our interactions with him. It was such a pleasure to deal with a company and know that they would take care of our needs properly and treat the job as if they were doing their own home. The men who came to install the counters were professional, prompt, and you could tell they really knew what they were doing. I have been a home owner since 2001 and have done dozens of home renovation projects and worked with dozens of contractors/stone & tile installers and never had such a horrible and unprofessional experience in my life! If Renato and the team were the last of the stone & tile contractors on the planet and services were free I still wouldnt allow them within 100 miles of my property!! Shame on them

I went here to get countertops for my new kitchen. Renato was AMAZING! He gave me loads of options to choose from, I visited with my 11 month old son and he was so patient and accommodating. Prices were cheaper than other places I had been to, other places told me I would need two slabs, but Renato used the slab cutting app to fit everything into one slab saving me a whole lot. The day of install, the workers were on time, quick, efficient and very professional, I was really impressed with their services and would use them ten times over!

I have no qualms regarding the quality of the work, but I was appalled by the companys behavior in my home and feel compelled as a result to write this review. To be clear, this complaint does not relate to the quality of the work or the installers. I am complaining because upon completion of the work, despite the fact that I had promptly paid 1/2 of the bill up-front, the company instructed the installers to remain in my home (without my consent) until I tendered payment in full. It was impossible for me at the moment to make a wire payment and I assured them that I would tender payment within about an hour (which I did), but they instructed their workers to remain in the premises and then threatened to come to my house and remove our countertop. Putting aside how this made me feel, the companys behavior put their workers in a compromising situation, essentially forcing them to remain in my home without my consent (note I am a woman with a small child at home). I was so horrified by the ordeal that I took videos of the encounter (which is something I never do).

Beware!! if you are installing granite countertop with this store. When we installed the countertop, they did not do a good job with the sealing, ( even though they claim that they do before installing) and we ended up having stains all over and one part got discolored so bad and ruined. We trusted them with quality but they absolutely wasted our money.

I had the very best experience from these guys in the selection and installation of my counters. Im a new homeowner and was nervously investing a lot of time in my decision (probably more time than most customers), but Dennis was nothing but patient and helpful with me as i looked at various slabs in the back area and asked a lot of questions (some probably dumb). The installers were quick and respectful of my cabinets and new kitchen floor, cleaned up afterwards, and they were on time too. Stupidly I forgot I needed an extra counter hole drilled for the purified water faucet, and I thought Id have to pay for an extra service call a week later, but I was not charged. I highly recommend this shop and have told locals about it already several times.

I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. I got a ridiculous quote from my contractor and the stone yard, so I started searching for another vendor. I came upon TriState from a google search. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and courteous. The service was fantastic, the quality of the work was perfect AND I saved about $1500 from my contractors price for the exact same stone from the same stone yard.

The best place to get your granite -- awesome selection, outstanding services, and great prices. I purchased granite from TriStone for my main house and vacation. Great experience all the way around. I would highly recommend then to anyone.

We got some issues with the material and the template but they were extremely responsive and Bruna was available 24/7 to get things solved right away. The final result is amazing!

Im a builder and been to all granite fabricators shop in NJ . Ive never seen such great team from sales reps to installers . Most educated and informative company Ive experienced. they really take their time to explain everything about any color granite or marble. great selection of stone to choose and last but not least the quality of work they do is impressive.

Bought a granite counter top. Price was ok. Felt a bit let down. The sales person said there would be no need for a seam on the counter at the sink if we got the smaller sink, so we went with the smaller sink(same price as big one). When they came to install, lo and behold a seam on the counter. Called to complaint, and all I got was a sorry for the misunderstanding but did nothing to resolve the problem.Went back for another project. Must say, they treated me very professionally, kept too schedule and everything went smoothly.

I would NOT recommend tristate stone. Shortly after my kitchen countertop installation I noticed a piece of the counter (on the edge of the sink cutout) flaked off. I called tristate multiple times and it was the WORST customer service experience. They blew me off, refused to return my phone calls etc. I’ve now had two separate contractors verify that the chip in the countertop was a result of it being poorly cut (not because something fell on it. We weren’t even living in the home when it flaked off). I called tristate and explained. It’s been months trying to get this issue resolved and they don’t return phone calls when they say they will.It has been an awful experience trying to resolve this issue. For the amount of money spent on a new kitchen, who would want a chip from day one?! Tristate has done NOTHING to correct this issue even though they say they are working on it. It’s been 4 months! Stay clear !

Well everything started pretty well, and went fairly well, up until the end. Admittedly the counter looks great, but they damaged one of my new drawer fronts when installing the counter. I now have a fairly large scratch on a drawer face in my brand new kitchen. When I pointed out that the drawer wasn’t damaged before the counter installation, and asked to be reimbursed $39 for a new one, I was told (direct quote from email) “SORRY MY GUYS ARE SAYING THEY DIND THAT.” Really? Your employees didn’t tell you they screwed up? But ok, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe they didn’t notice. And maybe it’s my fault for not looking for damage prior to cutting a check for the remainder of the work, but refusing to reimburse a customer $39 for damages seems like pretty lousy way to end this transaction, especially in world full of online reviews.If you do decide to go with tri-state I’d advise you to make a close inspection for any potential damages prior to completing payment. If damage they caused is discovered after the fact you’re just out of luck. Even if it’s only $39.
