RENT ELSEWHERE!! It I could give 0 stars I would.My husband just rented a vehicle from there for less than the 8 hours specified. He was told to bring the truck back with the same amount of gas given. Which he did ( a quarter tank). The young lady charged his card 39$ without even checking to make sure he did so. Which he did, now she’s stating he didn’t when he has a photo to prove he did. This place is a SCAM LOT! I would advise anyone to rent elsewhere. They charge low rates to catch you on add on fees for their convenience.

Had a little incident where I managed to get a little scratch on the van and all that was needed to fix was a little bit of touch up paint. I paid for the insurance and on top of that I was told I would be charged about 200 dollars to fix. Also they stated if I hadnt paid for the insurance they would had charged me 400 for the scratch. Obviously they are out for your pockets. Employees act like they dont care and make no effort to work anything out with you. Dont recommend anyone using U haul in the future.

Girl with the pink and purple hair at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Rolled her eyes every chance she got

The lady that help me was very rude and not very friendly. She asked to see a picture of a card on my phone and then told me can you tell me the numbers cause I don’t want to touch your phone. She had a weird thing on her lip. If you see her done go to her. Never coming here ever again. Would give zero stars if I could.

The girl at the front desk ( i dont know her name) clearly hates working there, she wont give you important information such as where to park your vehicle, once you ask her she will give you such attitude that it will make you regret coming here on the first place, the guy outdoor cleaning the vans was nice though, at least he gave us a smile. The vans were clean and easy to drive. The front desk exployees need training on customer service ASAP

I rent out trucks here regularly. The Truck size that I need is always available. All the trucks are kept in good condition.

I went there to get The hitch installed on my Mercedes c300 they did a terrible job, they connected lights in the wrong places left some wires no connect to some lights, they left bare wires, they cut my bumper badly. I am very disappointed. I paid 400$ in labor for a job that even those who dont know would do better.

The lady at the desk was very helpful and gave me options and very safety concerns always wearing her mask and maintaining the line at the shop with social distance. The trucks are cleaned and kept. Great experience!Great job!

The location is well kept, cleaness that you can actually see and smell. They have anything you need for moving situation, such as renting a vehicle or storage space. Plenty of parking space. Also, the storage building is quite big with plenty of space to maneuver through the facility.However, the service that the employee provides is a bit slow. Dont get me wrong, they are friendly and will help you on any assistance that you need, is just that the waiting line is a bit too slow and long. You will be in line for quite some time. Even if you call them to ask a simple question, they will have you on hold a bit too long. They have two small work desk for employees in their office but they constantly only have one person working. My solution is to always be one step ahead of them by coming in or calling at an early time, perhaps as soon as they open.Also, their online website is a bit confusing and not well built.So, to save yourself some good valuable time, come in or call early. Good Luck !

Terrible service. I reserved an auto transport and it wasn’t available. I had to wait for 40 minutes on line for them to tell me it wasn’t available. They did try to get me another place, but it was inconvenient for me.

Horrible service. Ive been a loyal customer for years. I was pushed out by a disgruntled employee by the name of charoble. U haul should hire mature and competent employees.

I moved Saturday 8/1 and the girls in the morning were very friendly and helpful, even though it was so busy. The truck was clean and it came with a lock for the roll-up door. When returning, the girl that helped me was nice and very quick.

No consideration when being stranded on a motorcycle and no equipment to tow the motorcycle.

Since the new renovation and new management they are much more efficient and helpful. For example we needed a pickup truck and I was driving. I had called (bluetooth)for a specific question and information about the insurance. While my wife was on online reserving the truck at home. I had bad communication so I had voiced that I will have my wife call the office. Now this is something that I or my wife never experienced before the renovation or the new management. Wife called she was helped by an agent an was able to secure the rental. According to my wife she mentioned how helpful and patient the agent was on the phone step by step. Picking up truck I give it 3 1/2 stars. staff were on time exactly at 7 am. We recommend that staff get there 1/2 hour earlier so as to not have patrons waiting for doors to open and and computer prep. and ladies and gentleman is something we never experienced before the renovation. Thank you keep it up!.

Super slow service, it took an hour to get my trailer, then I asked what time to drop it off, they told me 8 AM, I asked is that when you open she said yes. I pull in at 8:05 and they charged for another day, this place is running a pricing scam.

I went there to rent a truck and to get boxes, they were helpful and answered any questions I had, professional and friendly staff.

First time utilizing U-Haul and the location was on Broadway. Very friendly workers, process was pretty good, no problem getting a storage free for one month. Had an issue with letting Uhaul know needed more time, wasnt able to do it on the website had no knowledge of doing that but talked to someone named Austin he was awesome extended my time from the 6 p.m. that I was told to have a delivery truck deliver back to U-Haul and thanks to Austin he extended to 11 without being charged a fee. The alarm went off and I got freaked out with my two nieces and nephew but we continue to swipe the cards twice even on the elevator the transition was pretty good and secured and it was a happy end of the evening I will highly recommend this U-Haul to anyone first time several times it doesnt make a difference and the place is nice and clean

Dina was pleasant, friendly, professional and knowledgeable of what she was doing. Went there yesterday at 4pm to pick up a 10 cargo van. The line was ridiculous long and she was all BY HERSELF in the store answering questions to walk-in customers left and right, answering the phone, making reservations and getting the trucks or the van ready to the RSVP customers and still had a friendly welcoming attitude.Eventhough all of the 10ft cargo van were unavailable, she still accommodated me with a 10ft truck.Thank you Dina for making my stressful moving day a little bit better and brighter.

Bad customer service I only use the van for like 1 hr and 30 minutes and drove for like 10 Miles and they charge me 37 miles I explain to them about it and they want to do nothing about it so people go somewhere else that they can treat you better and they wasn’t wearing face mask the only thing that the store manager send to me that they can’t do nothing about so be careful when you do app look at your mileage because they would not explain nothing to you they just give you the key and tell you follow the app

It was my first time renting and driving a u haul.It was an easy process and very inexpensive as well.You make a deposit and whatever amount of gas is in the van you need to return it with the same amount.There is also a time frame to return the van based on the rental you choose.I dropped off the van and dropped the keys in the lock box because they were closed. ...the fees were assessed the next day and the difference returned to my account.

Great staff of guys. Always helpful. Quan is awesome. He cares you get what you need. They could use more staff at certain hours but overall great workers here. My favorite location.

Bought a hitch for my jeep, it didnt workout so I returned it 2 days later, none of the employees could figure out how to refund my $125. The guy who sold it to me (leonardo) was also the guy who i returned it to but also was no help,Had to wait for the manager, shes apparently never there, they said shell call me she never Did, after 4 trips there and probably a few hours wasted, (update) they did issue my refund

For some reason they always saying you went over your miles, I rented a Van from them a week ago, when we returned the van they said we went over the miles, my sister went to them on yesterday they did the same thing to her, mind you I referred her to go to them she picked the van up at 3:15 and returned the van back at 4:45 they quoted her around $69.00 so when they returned the van now they are charging her $170.00 and that’s what they did to me, I was charged $140.00 what in the world. So my sister called customer service and they said they didn’t see that charge. Please do not use this Uhaul go to the one in East Orange I never had a problem when I used to use them. This place is getting over make sure you only have enough on your card to pay for what they quote you because if not they will be charging your card for more money, it’s not right people are getting over. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE GO TO THE ONE IN EAST ORANGE OR FIND ANOTHER ONE.

Employee was on a personal phone call all the time he was working with us. When we asked questions about our reservations his reply was This is what is on the system and did not even try to remedy the issue with the millage. When the paperwork was done he could not even print a receipt due to not having paper to print it on.

My girlfriend made the reservation. Rental was quick and easy. Reservation was completed. In and out service. No problems with rental truck. Easy dropped off. Only exception, gentleman with hooded sweatshirt walk up without identifying himself stating to leave the keys with him. After four minutes, he finally took off his sweater to expose his Uhual logo. Typical ghetto reaction. Although staff was courteous, but they really need to be careful on overcharging there customers. There was a $25.00 overcharged, even though it was refunded after contacting the manager.

We went there and reserved a hitch and a trailer the general manager Mrs Hernandez never did the reservation and I asked her twice before me and my wife left if she did the reservation and she told me yes also she gave me a attitude on the phone this is not good for customer service if you want your business to strive you should get better management to run your business I rented a 20” last month with no issue from jersey city I will never rent from u haul never again

Worst service ever!! I was placed on hold for 40 mins to be transferred to the 1800 customer service number to put my complaint..I called asking for a copy of my contract because I was overcharged and this lady didn’t even let me finished taking when she transferred me to customer service. There is no customer service at this location, SMH!

Rented a small trailer - and was sent to this location even though my original reservation was in Fort Lee NJ, addicting driving time, but with U-Haul it’s what I expect anyway.At the check-in, the representative was on a personal call on her cell the whole one, FaceTiming which I didn’t realize until after she took a photo of my DL with her phone and collected all of the information... so now I’m worried about identity theft, never mind the lack of professionalism.

Rude. Argumentative. Tried to confirm my reservation, even though it wasnt where I wanted it, and was berated about how they were the only ones with the truck and he didnt care if I had to walk there to pick it up. Tried a few times to confirm a pickup before I gave up because I was getting nowhere. Filed a complaint with corporate, asking them to review the disaster of a phone call. Ive rented from Uhaul three times this past year and have never experienced anything quite like this. Cancelled reservation.

I specifically ordered a Ford Transit van for a move and they confirmed it would be a Ford Transit van.They next day they JAMMED ME with Chevy Cube Van with a bad transmission and driver and passenger doors that were really tough to lock. All the manager could say was we dont allow Ford Transit Vans to go to Brick, NJ one way. Lying Scum!

It’s disappointing when an employee drops the ball, you file a complaint, and 30 days later, you still can’t get a return call from a manager. How do you run a business like that? Unacceptable.
