I truly love the location and that its near my job and I can run in and run out on my lunch hour. The only thing I dont like is that there are never any registers open with associates, only self checkout. Sometimes when I go after work I do full-blown grocery shopping trip and really dont care to bag my own groceries. You have to wait for someone if they have someone available to ring you up. If not, so check out it is!

We like this store! Especially if you do not want to visit their bigger stores. We love their self check out option! You can get in and out! Great prices, you typically can find everything you need here. Great location as well.

Not Zoned very well and unhelpful staff. They were too busy stocking shelves with all the pallets laying around everywhere.

I went to the pharmacy and Virginia was so nice and so kind! I loved her. Definitely, an excellent associate.

I had nothing but good things to say about my local store .I have been dealing with a pinched nerve in my shoulder which probably doesnt make me as nice but since I usually am an online grocery shopper- to need to go to the store for a few things I had hoped wouldnt be an issue. Walmart of all stores I would think would have been willing to help when needed. Last night I had picked up several items and I was ready to check out. Stock was in the way I was using a scooter so it was difficult moving around.Floor workers and customers helpedMe reach items then I find at the time check out there were no open register that store workers manned.i asked one lady she told me Id have to go through self service, However as much as I was hurting I just wanted to get the groceries and leave.The customer service area was closed and I was told due to COVID they were short and they were not going to open one lane but everyone would have to do self serve. When I ran into this at a small discount store I didnt like it but it was just a small store but Walmart refusing to open a regular lane. Not enough ppl but what I saw was a cashier in self serve at least 4 plus the one talking who wasnt in self serve just straightening the rack. If Walmart is gonna reduce service to customers having to check themselves out then Walmart needs to post on front door self serve store only so anyone with disabilities of any kind can avoid being overlooked and embarrassed because we may hold up the line .if the problem is so great they cant show customers respect close down and become a 7-11.

Horrible customer service professionalism and management skills. Sucks that this one is by my house . The managers were standing around talking so I went up to them and said “ do you have any milk with a later expiration date of at least 10 days in the back?” The manager came out and said “ we have 9/2/21” my response was “ummm that’s tomorrow hun” incompetent and clueless. Few weeks ago I Did a grocery pick up and got someone else’s order completely . Never again, I gave them two chances … I’ll make the extra drive and go elsewhere.

Self check out was wonderful because of the staff working there. More than helpful! Even brought out to the car an item I left behind. Staff in the parking lot took my cart back for me, excellent service. Quite unexpected.

Didnt find the store very clean. No cashiers available. The self checkout is where all employees seem to congregate. Only problem, not one of them, offered any assistance to anyone using self checkout. Didnt find that the shelves were very well stocked!! Super center for me from now on!!

I love Walmart 💛 a little too much but this one keeps me out of trouble. Jam-packed with all we need front to back with nothing to distract me like clothes or decor. My husband loves it! Straight to the food and out in no time. Great for quick shopping!

Its a Great place to run in and grab a few things. Its clean. But not enough workers around if you need Help. I walked around couldnt find 1/2 of what I needed. Oh well. I would still go back. But Ill look around for help. Make sure theyre someone if need be first! HAVE a Great day..

Tried using the drive through pharmacy. Worker was totally incompetent. Took about 30 minutes to clear the 2nd & 3rd vehicles in front of me. Could find the orders for me or the vehicle directly in front of me. Follow-up by phone indicated they should have been there. Avoid.

Asked a worker if they knew where the shampoo was and they just said that wasnt their department and walked away then the cashier was picking their nose right before she rang me up. i wont be back here again thats for sure

They usually have everything we need in stock. Cashiers are kind and helpful. Id much rather go here than a full sized Walmart.

Always clean, staff is friendly ( at least when I go), carts are sanitized, and they have all that you need for a quick pickup, or when you dont want to go in the super centers

Seems to be hit or miss with this location. Some days the shelves are full and everything is fresh. So many options and deals. Other days the shelves are bare and everything is picked over. I cant find anything I need. Some days the long lines move fast and the associates are happy and friendly. Other days you stand in long lines with too few registers and stressed associates. Prices are good so I guess let that determine if you wanna gamble a visit.

I love that it is close enough to walk to and have what I need. Very convenient ☺️

Its ok.. today is Sunday an the pickings is slim so Ill pay better attention to the delivery schedule.

This is one of the best Walmarts to shop at in Hampton roads. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is organized and clean.

Like any Walmart Ive been to, they move a little slow but at least they move! A great place to pick up dinner real quick or cookies and muffins for meetings. Staff is always nice when I go. Always! 😁

I left a bag at the self checkout. When I realized it, I had my husband go by there, just to see if it was there. After we told the lady at self checkout what items were left behind, she said bring receipt because a bag was found with those particular items. So I got to Walmart Neighborhood Market with my receipt and everything was righted.

Shelves are so bare and only self check outs were open.

This store is never stocked, it does matter what day or time, the shelves are empty. They only have self check out open and only 5 of those. The lines are backed up in the aisle as far back to the end of the aisle close to the milk and meats. If your in a hurry, this is not a quick stop and go!!!

I went through the drive thru for prescriptions. I love going there most of the time you dont have to wait long and even if you do its not bad because you are sitting down and listening to music while you wait.

Always a good place. I like shopping here better more than i like shoppig at a Wal-Mart super center.

I usually go to Yorktown for grocery pickup but wanted to try this one because it is closer but I won’t be returning! I did a grocery pick up here and the associate put a case of water on top of my groceries crushing them. Also the milk was broken and went on my groceries and trunk. Not pleased!

Never grocery shop online here when it’s raining the literally delay pick up every time I guess they don’t want to bring the groceries out in the rain

I really dont like coming there they need to open up the cash register instead of self checkout, if Walmart goes to all self checkout I will not be shopping there, thats a fact

Horrible customer service. When you place an order for pickup it’s not ready. The night shift don’t know where there doing and they don’t have it together. It was only two black women who were really nice about trying to figure out what was going on with my order. I will never do my online shopping here ever again.

I went to this Walmart 10 something am on 11/6/20. This customer service lady was very rude and has been the last couple times ive been there. I cant get her name because her name tag is always flipped so u cant see it. She is a short white lady with long hair... They need to replace her or take her from customer service or something. I will not be going to this store any longer. Other then the rudeness of the lady the store is a good place to shop. There fast and neat. The other employees ive come across are nice and helpful BUT the lady in customer service has to go.

This Walmart seems to take more seriously then other nearby Walmart the need for their employees to wear masks including wearing it over their noses as well. It was also good to see that their customers continues to wear their masks throughout their visit. The other Walmart often times you will see people in line to check out who have no mask on at all. Once they come into the store they takes them off

Lousy service super long lines only 1 large cart checkout. Long self checkouts always closed. Tiny self checkouts or wait 30 minutes in a single line. Rediculous!

I am not much of a fan anymore. I hate self check out. Especially when there are plenty associates standing around looking at me check out. The store is not what it used to be. Seems to be very disorganized.

I’ve always had nice experiences at neighborhood walmart’s. Quick and easily accessible. It’s only the bigger ones that the lines are incredibly long and wii you te irritating. There’s a lot of nice deals that go within this small walmart and I enjoy it’s convenience as it’s really nearby.

Well, what can I say? Its a Walmart Neighborhood Market. It was clean, so it gets five stars from me.

The store is always clean and sanitized. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable. This is the place to go for your grocery needs. They do have some pharmacy, beauty products, and household items.

Its a Neighborhood Walmart so there are most of the essentials. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because they usually dont have any registers open with cashiers. Sometimes I dont want to ring up my own items, I dont work here. There are a lot more self check out registers than registers with cashiers.

I went there Wednesday..People were there with mask below their noses..When I was leaving the store, I observed a greeter, informing a customer, to get a free mask, before entering..The worker that was assisting, had a mask below, her nose..I asked her, why was she wearing her mask that way? She replied, she couldnt breathe, I replied, then get a shield ..and I left..I am a nurse, and will never go there again.

Self service registers not working properly. Had to use two different ways to pay. One of the ways wasnt working on the register

Its well stocked, tends to be clean. Its a small grocery centered Walmart, theres not much to complain about.

Only self checkout is open 99%of the time so there is always a line and that lady with an overloaded cart still hasnt figured out how self checkout works

If you go here I highly recommend that you go here as soon as they open up. I started doing that as soon as COVID-19 started and not once did I ever go in there for toilet paper and paper towels and they not have it. The staff here are always nice, polite and willing to lend a helping hand.

Employees are better then the ones in the bigger Walmart. I like how its more compact so its easier to find stuff. Only con is that there isnt as much inventory as the Walmart Supercenter.EDIT: On my most recent visit none of the cashier machines took cash. They all took cards. The staff also told us the chicken was coming out In an hour but it turns out that they didnt out the chicken in the stove so we wasted an hour doing nothing. I previously have this place 4 stars but I knocked one off because of this.

This store has very few cashiers. I have not seen an open register in a long time. If you cannot self scan your own groceries, this is not the place to shop. I found it frustating, so I will avoid this location.

I really found it easy to use. If you just need groceries or the pharmacy, its a LOT less walking than the regular Wal-Mart. Wish I lived closer. Had all the same food products as the huge stores. Great prices too. Easy parking and wasnt as busy as the regular store. Fast in and out.

Update to the update...store management sucks....directly correlates to inferior associates and poor performance as witness in back to back visits to this pathetic excuse of Sams legacy.Still at a one star rating....no consistency at this location..over 120 minutes waiting on my pickup order today and still not ready.Tried the pickup option...order wasnt ready on time, I called to check and there was no answer....the person at customer service said they couldnt help me, ended up waiting 20 minutes to not get everything ordered and also receive damaged product. This location has lost credibility.

I have been shocked at the lack of professionalism with the pharmacy.There seems to be an issue with the tech s following Doctors orders for meds.To often there have been unreasonable difficulty simply doing the job they are paid for.Illiness is hard enough without a busybody playing drug dectective;as if the doctor is not capable of knowing the patients medical and prescription history.Shame oon you.We reap what we sew.May God show you mercy for your lack of common decency.Have a good day

This is the worst Walmart I have ever had to deal with where the customer service department and associates are so rude. They never acknowledge you waiting they dont even operate during the times listed. They all have attitudes. I will rather deal with the crowds at Jefferson and Yorktown locations.

No cashiers working the registers. NONE. Only option is self checkout. I dont get paid to work there so why should I be forced to check myself out. This is unacceptable and when I called the store to speak to the manager, I kept getting transferred to nowhere. Last time I am shopping at this location.
