Good pricing on food, you can really find some deals here. Only problem normally only 1 register is open and if the line gets long you have to wait for the cashier to call a manager for help

I usually purchase here poultry and meat, once again the choice and price was good. It does help that the merchandise is placed identically to the way it is in Hampton on Mercury. You have to watch with fruits and vegetables as sometimes they are far past their prime (avocados, watermelons, apples, grapes etc.) I was very surprised to learn they charge $0.03 per bag to pack your food.

The store is really made to be cost effective so lots of generic products I have never heard of. Name brand isnt saving any money but typically more so this is recommended for those that dont mind what brand it is. Huge tip bring your own bags or boxes if you want to pack your purchases. Otherwise you must buy bags to carry your groceries in. This is another way they save money. It is a little harder to locate unless you know exactly where you are going also as it is hard to see from Warwick Blvd which is the main road by there.

Easy shopping with good service at 8pm.

Need more cashiers but good cheap quality food. Just inspect meats before buying but great price on produce.

When I was coming into this store I had my standards set high from all the other whole foods I had been to so I decided to walk around and see what they had. As I walked by the fish stand I happy little guy named Casey? Greeted me and asked me if I needed anything at all and did I come in there for any seafood no but guess what I left with a pound and a half of salmon and a bomb recipe ready to go when I went home. Long story short every time I pass through this neighborhood Im gonna stop by because what I received is the epitome of customer service.

It was a great place to shop but not anymore. No bages for your groceries and the prices went up 20%

It was awesome the mgr and staff at the Warwick and Denbigh store in Newport News are so friendly and helpful and treat you like family and service with a smile. I always find great deals and save money there. Congrats to this team🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

I love SAVE a lot I used to go there a long time ago and then I started going to Food Lion because it was so close and convenient but I am telling you I spent a lot of money at Food Lion and I get way more bang for my buck at Save-A-Lot now certain stores you like to go to because of the brand or just a search and purchased at Save-A-Lot may not have but overall in general they have your basic needs and you will definitely save a lot and get a lot go home with a lot more groceries so thankful for the store as well as Aldi...

Thought I got a good deal on some t-bone steaks till I got home and found the other side with brown never buy steaks there again!

I shop here on occasion for specific finds. I get my holiday ham and sweet potatoes.always reasonable prices.

My lucky dog worships dog bisquit treats that I get there. Friendly people didnt even let me put my selections on the cashiers belt; but, checked them out in the cart. (You save by bagging the items purchased there.)

Horrible place to shop. Great prices but not enough staff. No matter what time of day or season you will most likely walk in the store to find only one cashier and the line damn near down the aisle. If your in a rush do not shop here

Wide lanes with quality products at great low prices. Even though the founder was a serial killer this has been my favorite supermarket since it started.

Not my favorite place to shop for groceries. The selection offerings are slim so I often go here because it is closer to my home to find that theh do not have what I am looking for. Any produce Ive purchased here seems to go bad the next day and you have to nag your own groceries here. I try to avoid it unless I know they have what I need and Im pressed for time.

There is a black lady who works at the cash register who is very rude everytime i go to that store she throws my items in the basket like its nothin she always looks mean she never smiles attitude is horrible it almost makes me not wanna go to that store because of her she should be terminated period!
