I got the cinnamon and sugar waffle with a side of the vanilla ice cream. It was DELICIOUS! Such a cute little shop. I can see how it would get full/behind quickly, as it appeared the 2 owners were the only ones working that night. Our service was still incredible and they were both so sweet.

Waffles are amazing! So is the ice cream and gelato! Staff is friendly and service is great! Will be back 😀

Adorable Ice Cream shop in Newport! The husband and wife who own this shop were so friendly and incredibly nice. Despite the long line, they let customers try different ice cream flavors until they found one they liked. I tried the homemade coconut gelato, and absolutely loved it! Definitely a great local business in Newport and must-try Ice Crewm spot!

This international group of folks were very kind and fast working so we didnt wait long even though the line was technically out the door. MOST IMPORTANTLY they have dairy free options that are still very tasty. As you can read they source from local ice cream makers so it truly is a unique experience. Really fun to do at night then go for a stroll through the town. Parking is limited here and youll probably pay for it some but that has nothing to do with their business, they are 5 out of 5! Will go back

Easy to see. Corner location. Parking on the street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Moderately clean facilities. No public Restroom. Close to the water and other Downtown areas. Waffles, candy and drinks are available. Ice cream does not appear to be made on premises. Hard working staff. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. THE ABSOLUTE BEST ICE CREAM & SERVICE!!! We stopped in on a Sunday night around 930pm when all other places were closed and the first thing we said was, This must be family owned Everyone was so sweet, the service was prompt and the ice cream was delicious. It was so clean too!! We loved it so much we went back the next day and were able to speak to the staff as it was a little less busy that night, come to find out they were the owners, the most sweet, down to earth people. They shared their story with us we had a great conversation and laughs. We are so very happy such a great family owned business is in the center of Newport! I couldnt speak any more highly of this place!! A true GEM! We cant wait to go back!!

Kids loved the cotton candy ice cream. I had a waffle on a stick which was good but a little small (I wish it came with two). Overall a good stop for a treat.

Some of the best ice cream we’ve had in town! The vegan vanilla is the bomb dot com! It tastes like it’s made with oat milk, not almond milk. So tasty!! We ordered the s’mores, Oreo, and chocolate chip cookie dough on the cookie cone and GOODNESS!!! Flavorful satisfaction! We will be back, and often!

They have decent selection and prices typical of tourist location. The only annoying thing is they wouldnt or couldnt figure out how to split one between our two toddlers. No other place has ever had an issue, neither can even do a small on their own. Just charge 0.50 for the cup or whatever you got to do. Next time will go somewhere else.

Everyone enjoyed their ice cream and fancy cones. The waffle on a stick is intriguing but I didnt get it. I had ice cream and a frozen banana on a stick.. the peanuts werent crushed so slight let down.

This ice cream shop was really nice! They have a variety of flavors and reasonable prices. I got a strawberry ice cream sandwich with sprinkles and it was amazing. The employee was also very kind and offered a sample of anything we wanted to try.

Amazing place right off the main street. Definitely stop for waffles and ice cream! The Belgian waffle was just the right amount of crispy to offset the soft and melting in summer heat ice cream. I had vanilla and black raspberry flavors and they were awesome!

Im a minimalist when it comes to ice cream. They have the best soft serve Ive ever tasted, and my wife got some crazy waffle concoction thingy that she said was great. 👍😁

I got black raspberry Oreo in chocolate waffle cone. It was sooo good! I hope to go back and try one of their waffles. Great service as well.

Hands down the best cappuccino in town! One of the best ones I’ve ever had actually. Their waffles and ice cream is to die for. There was a pretty long line but they where very quick and had people in and out in no time. My only suggestion to them is to find a way to have a tip option on their card reader device for people with no cash on them. I will definitely be returning for more before the end of my vacation!

By farrrr the BESTTTTT mint chocolate chip shake I have ever had!!!! Staff is SO nice, owners are the sweetest people, and the place is always busy for a reason!! They have everything from gelatos, to ice cream to shakes, and waffles. I brag about their shakes to everyone. Absolutely would recommend in a heart beat!!

Me and my friends are students at Salve Regina University and have had such wonderful service, waffles, and ice cream. The music, vibe and overall family environment is perfect for Newport and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do before they close for the season!!!

Google maps directed us to Kilwins, which had a non socially distanced line out the door. We took a block or two walk down to this place instead, and could not be happier. We walked right in, the ice cream was delicious, and the staff was beyond friendly. If we are ever back in town, this would be our go to. Mom and pop style with the quality to back it up.

This place is pretty good! I think it’s a cool idea and a pretty dessert to look at. The waffle itself was undercooked so I wouldn’t say it’s anything special, but it’s a fun visit!

After finishing up the cliff walk, my legs were tired and I was ready for something cold and refreshing. I stopped in, and I asked if they happened to have nondairy ice cream. The nice lady behind the counter offered me a sample of the avocado chocolate coconut milk gelato. I had it in a waffle cone and it was amazing! I sat outside enjoying my ice cream, in a lovely dessert interlude, forgetting that there were other people around me. Next time I am in Newport I plan on trying the frozen banana on a stick!

I love this little place! My Husband had the waffle on a stick and has been craving a return visit! 😂I had an ice cream in a waffle cone and it was definitely good. But whats better was the service and friendly owners. Great people. This is our new ice cream vendor!

This place is so CUTE! Has some amazing gelato and an abundance of options to make your best desert. Can even have lunch there. Can have a pizza waffle on a stick or breakfast with their choices of veggie gelato. Give it a shot this place is amazing. And not too pricey either

I only had the strawberries and cream, but I had never heard of that flavor and it was delicious! There staff was super friendly.They also had ice cold drinks and coffee and shakes.

Asked for a sugar cone and got a cake cone in the shape of a sugar cone. They were nice and gave me a waffle cone but portions were small and expensive. I guess that’s Newport though.

I got the waffle sundae with sweet corn r.i gelato, fudge, whip cream, and nuts. The waffle is warm and soft. It was a delicious dessert and the price was pretty good too. Great service as well! :)

Had a waffle ice cream sandwich with salted caramel pretzel ice cream and Nutella drizzled over top. AWESOME!...Waffles are made fresh while you stand....Room is tight but thats of little relevance when you eat the food......Will try the waffle stick banana with Nutella next. There are also savory options with waffle hot dogs, chicken, etc...

The ice cream and waffles is great. It feels like the customer service come and goes depending on their moods. The last few times I was here it was slow. The woman behind the counter blatenly asked What do you want. I was kind of taken back a bit. Fortunately distracted by my kids I brushed it off. The second time around visiting I was waiting in line. In the line was myself and a young boy behind me. The same woman that waited on me the last time around was there busy sorting things out behind the counter. She turns and asked the boy behind me if he was ready. The boy and I looked at each other. He advised her that I was first and waiting before he got there. The service just put a bad taste in my mouth dispite how good the ice cream and waffles tasted.
