Needed some White Ash for my canoe. Walked in, within minutes I had a friendly employee showing me what he had as well as looking for a few thicker unplanned board. Also he realized I was parked other side of the building and I stricter me to move as I could get towed. Helpful, friendly and asked just enough questions to give me good guidance. Ill be back.

Ive been in the area for about a year, and have loved going here for my lumber needs. They are always very knowledgeable and helpful. Today, however, none of the employees inside were wearing masks and one employee made highly political, disparaging comments about people who do wear them and who do not align with him politically. These comments were made right in front of me as I was wearing a mask. I found the experience highly unprofessional and it made me feel unwelcome.

Best place to for all types of exotic and natural woods

This is a nice quiet place to find unique pieces of wood from many different species at reasonable prices. They have a small show room with planed wood examples as well as short cut deals. The other side of the building is a large area with a large selection of rough cut options. I will return, and suggest stopping be here if youre at all interested in working with something more than the local Lowes or Home Depot has to offer.

Great selection of rough hardwoods. Knowledgeable, helpful amd friendly people. I bought cabinet grade plywood that was pre finished on one side. They didnt have it in stock but it was in the next day at a fair price. Definitely a hidden gem in Norfolk. Allen was helpful and followed up on my order.

THE place for hardwoods. Rough cut or finished, you will not find a better price for the common selection that is available in a big box store. Looking for something out of the ordinary? Check out the showroom. The staff here is amazing. I have been going here for years, but they provide the same attention to every customer. Reminds me of going to a hometown hardware store with my grandfather years ago. You just dont find places like these anymore. Go ahead and compare their prices, stop in and see their operation, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Great selection of woods to choose from and the friendly staff were more than happy to help my wife and I find the right wood for some home projects. They even offered to cut it down to the exact size we wanted. If ur looking for quality and quantity look no further!!

Yukon has a great selection of unique woods you cant find in a box store. Well worth the visit to find specific and exotic quarter-sawn lumber.

Wide selection of wood, from poplar to things like ebony and zebrawood. Nice showroom and nice people, super kind and knowledgeable. I got about 7 board feet of mahogany for a project for about 45$, rough. I plan to shop there again to get wood for my future school assignments and personal hobby projects.

If we cant get it, nobody can.These guys are so knowledgeable, nice, and accommodating. Todd walked my husband and I through their inventory to find the exact live edge slab we were looking for. My father-in-law is already looking forward to checking out their business for his work. We will absolutely be coming back for future renovations and projects.

People seemed knowledgeable and they truly did have some unique wood there.If you go there look for the sign and park right in the center of business, otherwise you may be towed.

Visited Yukon and they helped me with extactly what i wanted. i told them i was building a dining room table and he suggested a few things along with my input we came up with the specs and in couple of days the wood was cut, milled and ready for pickup. im in the process now of building the table.
