COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND ITS WORK! Just purchased a home where Stonewood Kitchen & Bath had installed granite countertops in 2018. The countertop was installed incorrectly without any support for the overhang which is up to 15”. After calling & explaining the situation and asking them to fix the safety issue they had created I was told to go out and buy support posts & install them myself. I guess if the countertop breaks off & injures myself or my children I’ll see them in court.
I used Stonewood K&B for (2) very large vanities, and I was very pleased with the products I chose. The cabinetry consists of solid wood construction throughout, with dovetail joints, and soft close drawers and doors. Overall, “excellent” quality and finish. The surface I chose was quartz, and it looks beautiful. Overall, you cannot beat the value of the product you receive. I would definitely recommend Stonewood K&B for your kitchen or bath remodeling needs.
Horrible company, work, customer service, and professionalism!!!!! I give them a negative 10 stars. The installers install my countertops how they wanted to instead of what I requested and paid for. They scratched my brand new floors moving the refrigerator, which I don’t understand why they touched my Refrigerator they were here to install countertops, then lied about it and Stonewood refuses to take any responsibility. Court is next! I will never spend my money with this poor excuse for a company again!
These guys are the best!! They did my cabinets and countertops saved me a ton of money that I was able to put into my remodel. I would 100% recommend them to anyone.
I purchased my kitchen cabinets from stonewood back in 2017 and am still completely satisfied with my purchase. You will be hard pressed to find a better price for wood (not particle board) cabinets with soft close. The owners were respectful to me when I was choosing my cabinets and the installers were great to work with. We chose a granite slab from Rock Solid since we fell in love with a slab at the site. I bought a bathroom vanity and granite top recently that I installed myself and was very pleased with the outcome.
I purchased 12 uppers and 8 lower wooden cabinets. The material used is good. Painted instead of paper of laminate cover. Not press board, ply box and finger jointed drawer sides . I would highly recommend glue and trim nailing the cabinets together if you are doing the assembly. There was only one cabinet that had issues and they swapped it out no problem. The guys that installed the counter tops did a good job over all. The top of my dishwasher door was scratched and the outlet was broken. But the top is covered unless being filled so it’s hardly seen. And I can swap the outlet cover for a few dollars so no harm done.Yes, I would recommend going here. the material is better than Home Depot or Lowe’s has to offer and the prices are better. I will add photos after the kitchen is done.
Got a quote not to long back went in today to look around and start moving forward and I get there went to the counte 3 people were sitting there, not 1 person said anything. Then when I said excuse me he said yes but never listened to me kept asking me what I said and then when he went to pull up my quote he never did he was laughing with other workers so I just got up an walked out. I recommend the place right down the street from them. Very poor place
Kiara was super helpful and informative. I walked in knowing absolutely nothing and to many questions. She eased my mind, answered all my questions and I walked with everything taken care of.
Staff helpful with my rough estimate and design.
They were nice to work with; I was satisfied with my purchase.
Second time to use stonewood. Very responsive. Excellent price point for product.
Stonewood is the place to get your cabinets awesome prices
This place is a joke.. don’t be drawn to the cheap price. Not worth your frustration dealing with them. The kid answering the phone got no business answering the phone. Please just don’t waste your time like I did it’s not worth you frustration fine a different company to do business with.
I had Stone Wood kitchen and bath come out to my house to measure for new granite countertops. The man they sent out to do the measurements was very rude and impatient. When he tried to take the new sink out of the cabinets he didn’t unhook the drain pipes. This is the best part while he was at my house we went in my backyard and urinated in front of my girlfriend and neighbor. When I called the company to complain they said they would give him a warning. They have done nothing to try and make the situation better and now they have my new sink and the sink template and they’re refusing to do the job. I can’t even have another company do the job until I get my sink and template back. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!!!
I loved the ease of shopping thier showroom for countertops and cabinets. We even picked out a sink. Very friendly, informative and much better than the Big name stores. Many choices of countertops and prices. Love the quality of thier cabinets. Before you decide and buy, go here first!
The price was considerably less than 4 other quotes from big box and kitchen and bath stores. They were even able to squeeze me in before Christmas!! So excited for the new counter tops!
Stonewood replaced our kitchen cabinets, counter tops, and bathroom vanities in June of last year. I expected the entire process to be a hassle but it went so much better than expected. They gave us exactly what we wanted, and did it quickly and without much delay between the cabinet and counter top installation. There was an issue with the initial stone that we picked out, and we had to make an adjustment, but they were willing to work with us to get a nicer quartz, and even split the difference in cost with us. The only very minor inconvenience for us was having to have someone reconnect our faucets after the installation, as they do not do anything with the plumbing, but this was a very minor thing, and was not an issue at all.I recommend them to anyone I come in contact with, and wouldnt hesitate to use them again.
As a contractor I love this place. Prices and quality are the best.Target Group...Jerry
Great job Stonewood! The new kitchen for my client looks Super Fantastic! The gray cabinets with Salome Granite countertops look Amazing! I can’t wait to see the bathrooms!
Very reasonable and thorough.
Kitchen turned out really well. On time with cabinets and counter installation. Took extra time to trim window sill with granite. Came back for minor adjustments. We are very pleased !!!
Amazing! Affordable upgrade and very timely. Just a little work on our end paid off greatly in the end. Staff was great to work with. Installers were quick and talented beyond what was expected. Dont go to the big box stores without talking to Stonewood first. You will not be disappointed.
They are not professional at all, after taking me through a long awaited time, and upon the day of delivery, they called to inform me that my graniteslab broke while placing it in the back of their truck. They had me lived close to 5 days without a kitchen sink, countertop and disconnected dishwasher . Comm. was difficult to pass across . Poor customer service/satisfaction. They are jokes. If you need your wk. done professionally, please do not try them.
I recently installed new kitchen cabinets and i was ready for Granite. I knew what i wanted and had my measurements, I went to 5-6 different places around town and got some quotes. I found these guys through the Valpack and was skeptical, when i drove by the building i was still skeptical, not in a great part of town and the outside of the building looked run down. The inside was nicer than expected but the best part was their price, it was $500 less that the next best quote. I found a good review online and decided to give them a try. They measured and installed within a week (measured on Tuesday afternoon, installed on Saturday morning). The only issue i had was the counter edge, i requested half bull nose edge and that got lost in translation and they did a pencil edge. After they were in, i decided to keep the pencil edge. I was worried because the half bull nose edge was left off of the contract i signed but the price included half bull nose edge. The owner called and i told him the situation and took off of the additional price of the half bull nose, no questions asked. The installers took about 2 hours and they look great. Overall it was a great experience and i would certainly do business with them again.
Where do I start with this review? Let me first start out by saying that Im not one to give a business one or two stars unless they truly deserve it. I rely on reviews to help make a decision on if I should deal with a business or not. So heres my honest review of stonewood Kitchen.... First off, let me say that theyre a heck of a lot cheaper than the competition. I was pretty blown away that my entire kitchen would cost about 6k. That included the crown molding, granite countertops, tall cabinets, and an island. I figured that there was really no way to beat that price. However, be prepared to wait a few weeks for anything to be installed. We paid for the kitchen on January 12th and the cabinets werent installed until January 31st. Notice that I didnt say the countertops. The countertops werent installed for another week and a half. My biggest issues with this company were theyd call you unexpectly and tell you that theyd be showing up at your house in 30 minutes and they needed for you to let them in. Im not sure if they forgot, but people do work during the day. Secondly I had to call 10 different times for them to install a cabinet door that they forgot about on the day of installation. This was extremely frustrating. If I didnt call them, they wouldnt call me. You literally have to stay on top of them in order for them to complete the job. While this next issue maybe fairly minor, it could be an issue for some people. After the installation, they left a mess everywhere. Every company that I know or ever have done business with typically cleans up behind themselves. So this actually kinda caught me off guard. All in all, this was a good bang for your buck, but if I had to do it all over again, Id probably save myself a lot of stress and go with a different company. Its nothing personal against them, its just I believe theyre overwhelmed and are taking on more business than they can handle.
Great prices. Dont expect them to call you ever, I had to call and check to see if my counter top was done, was never notified it was ready for pick up.They also have nothing labeled in their shop so it took me and the sales desk lady about 5 minutes just to find my piece. Ive seen reviews on here about installation, they hire a 3rd party to do that so I wouldnt advise it, its not Stonewood them-selves that does the installation. But other than that my counter top came in exactly as I asked the sinks are all lined up correctly and the 4 in spread on the sinks were done correctly also. I had a 73 x 19 1/2n granite with 2 sinks for a bathroom made.
I purchased assembled upper cabinets from stonewood. on one cabinet the door was not plumb to the cabinet. i took it back and they tightened the hinge so that the door hung properly. good :)later, when i hung the cabinets, a different one had a 1/4 inch gap at the bottom. already hung so i took a pic and caulked it. went back to order the rest of the cabinets i would need and showed them the pic. told them i hoped the next batch would not have that problem. but they refused to assemble the cabinets. they didnt want me to be dissatisfied with their work, so they wouldnt do the work! after all, its easy to assemble them anyway!wow - i never heard of that before. believe it or not, i am VERY DISSATISFIED. assemblage of cabinets is a service stonewood claims to provide. do it well, and i will have no complaints :)
Best price in town very professional and speedy turnaround got me done within a week very happy
Looking for no stars but 1 will do. Went into stonewood w my old bathroom vanity top the lady took measurements, I picked out granite she ran my card then as I was getting ready to leave, she said I had to leave my current sink for demension and the customer is responsible for measurements, she needed to know sink depth of her own stock sink I purchased and there were only 2 measurements width and length for the granite and the base cabinet was stock as well. I wasted my evening here. Their customer service is horrible. Even the hubby tried to talk to her and make sense of the disconnect! I asked for a refund so quick!
Stonewood Kitchen and Bath offered us a good price and their Designer Kiera and Estimator Stan were very professional. The installers were hard working and surprised us how fast they worked. We are in need of a couple of adjustments and have been assured they will take care of us.Thank you Kiera, Stan, and Mr. Wong too!!!
Horrible customer service. They made a huge mistake and would not take responsibility for giving us the wrong kitchen layout cabinets. After we assembled them and returned them they made us pay for a cabinet because it was dinged. Did not get the correct layout. Will never do business with them again.
Excellent customer service highly recommended wonderful prices and quality workmanship
Wow. If there were zero stars that would be the better option. Needless to say I should have read the reviews for this place before choosing to work with Stonewood. Customer service is a concept that this company does not understand. After clearly making an error in our granite installation (literally putting two different colored pieces together on one counter with an obvious seam down the middle of the sink) and then lying by claiming that they used the slab that we picked out (even though numerous granite professionals have concluded that there is no possible way those pieces could even be from the same lot, let alone the same slab.) I will add that when their granite delivery guys showed up, even they agreed that it was unacceptable and told me to call the company right away. When I asked the delivery guys if this happens a lot, they said, “all the time.” They also stated that they (owners of Stonewood didn’t listen, and didn’t care.) Well, they are right. It was an uphill battle from that point on to get this granite project back on the right track. I had to do all the leg work. Even though the only employee that speaks clear English said “I appologize on behave of Stonewood”- this was after I expressed dismay that no one would take responsibility or appologize for the error. And it was an empty apology because she ended up backing up Stonewood’s claim that the granite was from the slab we selected! I know from speaking with their granite supplier that they lied to us multiple times. As if all that isn’t horrible enough- when we asked if they can stand by their product and offer a quality assurance, they literally said, “no- we can’t make any promises,” and “it won’t be perfect.” Obviously Stone can have variation, but what kind of company can’t stand behind their product and customer satisfaction??! I’ve never delt with anything like this before! When we finally got them to agree to let us select the stone and see it before it was cut, they wanted us to sign a statement saying we would not request any changes, and would accept the granite after it’s cut. What?! With absolutely no guarantee that they won’t screw it up again?! And no quality assurance?! And they want US to sign our life away on their potentially shoddy work?! Anyway, after a seriously odd (and exasperating) argument with their English speaking employee, she then stated that there was a hold up with the granite delivery because their supplier was quoting them “way more than the normal rate for granite.” After speaking with the supplier again, I found out this was another lie. I then called back and demanded a refund. I was so emotionally exhausted by dealing with this horrible company. Bottom line... you get what you pay for. This company is cheap, disrespectful, has NO ACCOUNTABILITY, offers an inferior product, makes no apologies (except for fake lip service) has horrible business practices, puts the customer last as any kind of a priority, puts profits above people, and has a huge communication dilemma (no one in charge speaks English!!) They clearly made a mistake, and did not want to take the hit financially. This was their responsibility- and they just didn’t care. No concern for the weeks of delay this has caused us with our home remodel. Let me give you some advice- don’t go with the cheapest place just to save some money!! It’s better to work with a company who can stand by their product and customer care!
Good service and fine product
If there were 0 star I would give it to them. Call 3 times asking about price and selection and I was told different prices on each call. The first 2 times they told me they would call me back and never did. Finally drove to the store and the same granite the told me was 15.99/sq ended up being 27.99/sq. Then I finally picked a color and only wanted material for my contractor and they tried to charge me a cut fee per slab. OMG! Wasted my time, gas, energy, and this was a big ole bait and switch. Definitely go to panda, or global home decor for cheap granite and countertops. They all have poor service but this one takes the prize for worst run business.
Excellent prices, sales staff is great to work with, bring your plans in and they will draft them up free of charge, and quality is good.Cant beat it anywhere in town.
Nice 👌
This company lacked integrity, honesty and responsibility. The only reason I am giving it 1 star and not 0 is because the manager was courteous and fit us in the schedule. Not only did they damage our cabinets and steps during installation but they took NO responsibility and completely ignored me. On the phone, the manager asked for the prices of cabinets and which doors were damaged (and I sent them) but then would not respond to any of my emails concerning it.There were also very large and deep scratches in the granite seen after installation. Arc (in which I will leave a good review for), the granite supplier, states that there was no damage or scratches on the slab when they sent it over to Stonewood. They also stated it was Stonewoods responsibility to look it over before accepting it. Stonewood kept blaming Arc stating these scratches were already within the granite. Arc was so upset by this that Mike, the manager, physically went to Stonewoods office to discuss it with Sean, the manager. He called me after stating that Stonewood took responsibility and knew it was not Arcs fault and they would be taking responsibility for it (they did not). One countertop was not aligned with the other but they came back and fixed this.I called and emailed Stonewoods manager, Sean, as soon as we saw all the issues that very day. We stayed away from their working area and only quickly reviewed it trusting our contractors opinion that it looked good that day (later we found out he was just trying to get rid of them to get his work done and did not think it looked good at all). He and his coworker even saw Stonewoods installers leave a round sander on by mistake on the granite causing a mark on in front of our sink. All of the above was brought to Sean at Stonewoods attention and resolution was requested several times by my husband and I. We started contact with them concerning these issues the last week of November and they stopped responding to us in the beginning of January, still taking no responsibility for anything. We have before and after pictures of ALL of this and over 50 emails of correspondence. We hired an attorney (family member) and will be pursing this further and also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, among other actions. I just had a newborn and of course do not want the hassle of all of this but at this point, it is a matter of principle, integrity, and honesty-- all of which I feel was not respresented by Stonewood.
The showroom floor is dangerously slippery
