Its not the best grocery store. But the cooked food is delicious. Right at the door you can get a plate of Hamburg steak in gravy with mashed potatoes fried chicken, lasagna, collard greens, and more. The groceries are reasonably priced. I didnt see any fresh produce but the meat was on deck. Its not exactly in our out of the hood. But its safe enough for going during the day. For a quick lunch or dinner. If you hungry in Hampton Roads stop by.

Piggly Wiggly has NEVER failed me on getting some turkey legs or wings. This is the store thats always had one and/or the other. I love Piggly Wigglys Soul Food menu too. Keep it up. Customers are soaring in, even today (A Sunday).

Only problem a couple of cashiers need to work on customer service skills.

I was a bit hesitant to go in at first because it looked a bit dirty. But, once I looked around I felt a bit of nostalgia. If youre a southern cook, here is where you need to go. They have quite a few things that are hard to find in other places. They even have a certain product name I didnt recognize but my husband did and said he hadnt seen in years. I will definitely return.

Piggly Wiggly is my go to when Im looking for stuff that isnt found in every grocery store and their hot food bar isnt bad either.

Great Meats. Beautiful Cuts and great prices--Only on Meats thou. (Watch out 4 Green Meat every know n then) Pretty pricey wit everything else. Im not trying to put down the store. The store is clean and well kept and cashiers are nice. Best place to get your meat.

I shop here for southern meats that I cant find at other grocery stores. The hot food is also good. The prices of the shelf items are always much higher than the larger stores.

I love Piggly Wiggly because the prices of the meats remind me of what I would pay at a farmers market. I can go there at any given time and find a great deal. I also am a fan of the home cooked breakfast. The line is long before work, so get there early! Its worth the wait.

Slow service with an attitude. Food was ready but not served.

The breakfast is great especially when the short 25 year old girl is serving. she always has great customer service. Her birthday was yesterday. I Dont know her name and the black young guy cashier also provided great customer service.

Wehey were not practicing social distancing in the store. People in line for breakfast are standing way to close to others and none of the employees said a word. Not good!!!! I did ask arent we supposed to all be social distancing and was told yes. Doesnt work if you dont enforce the rules. The breakfast there is great though! Wear a mask n ask people to give you 6ft. Floors are no longer marked

I like coming here for breakfast sometimes when I dont feel like doing it at home for myself but I gotta say it,some of that breakfast food is at least from the previous day. That said,the price you pay for it is good and I do eat it every now and then when I dont recognize the same piece of meat in the same corner from the previous day. Staff is nice too 👍

I use to travel to Tarboro, NC just to go to a Piggly Wiggly & I live in Virginia Beach. Never knew there was a store in Norfolk, anyway I went there and was pleasantly surprised. The store was clean, orderly and stocked most of the hard to find foods I look for in the VaBch area stores. I am going to make this store my Primary Store for stocking up on my grocery items.Thank You Piggly Wiggly !

I took my brother to the store today so that he could get out of the house. All he wanted was some candy. He is a 77 year old veteran, who has recovered from a stroke with dementia. The line he got in was slow and he made an out loud complaint I asked my brother to lower his tone and I stepped aside for social distancing and allow him to make the purchase. When he got to the register the clerk would not let him purchase the candy. The clerk escalated the situation by throwing the candy aside and saying he could not purchase it. How rude. I escorted my brother out of the store and came back to purchase the candy. The clerk served me but with an attitude. I spoke with the manager. What give the clerk the right not to serve anyone unless they are being violent. They said they would handle it. First time in and I hope that will be my last time out.

If you want anything pork this is the place. I always shop here for smoked pork butt to use for seasoning beans, greens, etc. Reasonable priced, in and out.

Well today was a good day, the breakfast food wasnt as on point as usual but it was decent and eatable. But I was able to pick up on a few great deals on fresh meats, fruits and vegetables so after all the trip and tolls were worth it. Still my go to spot for foods that remind me of my childhood and Grandmas cooking.

I like Piggly wiggly they have a lot of things in there that they dont have in other stores the service is okay but they need a bigger place a more up-to-date place but I try to go there every month try it out and you tell your experience
