Service manager and reps friendly as usual, calm, patient, and listen intently. Quality of service performed was completed to expected standard. Only improvement I would recommend is for service manager to follow-up with customer AT LEAST once daily at a minimum. Unfortunately, this did not happen while my car was in the shop for 8 days. I will say that I was able to establish contact at least once every other day, but that is unacceptable.
This was the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! I will highly recommend McLarty to everyone I know! I bought the car sight unseen and they delivered it to me the next day. My salesman, Austen, was very helpful and not pushy at all. Everything was perfect!

Purchased my car at Gossett VW in Memphis. I called Memphis on Oct 16th and wanted to get it in to be checked out. I was told by Gossett VW in Memphis they would not be able to see my car before Dec 7. I needed my car, on Monday, Oct 18th, I called McCarty VW in Little Rock and talked to John. John was extremely professional and said they would do everything they could to help. John even suggested what he thought the problem was, he checked to make sure parts were available. John said if I have my car there on Thursday only 3 days later, they would take care of it. Sure enough they fixed the problem and my car is doing great. Service guys were great, parts department not so great. I had an appointment that I setup about 3 weeks ago to get my transmission serviced. They had the car cooling off per the procedure for the service and while gathering up supplies came up short on the proper transmission fluid. The service guys did what they could, hoping some was hidden away out in the shop somewhere, but no luck . Due to somebody’s diligence at least they verified that they had everything before they started draining fluids or I would’ve been without my car.Hopefully I can change this review when they fit me in again for my service. I know that service and parts are different departments, so I gotta say that the parts department kinda let me and the service department down by not stocking a common fluid that most newer Volkswagen cars use. I’ll go back and try it again soon and hope for a better outcome.

They were nice but told me my car was fixed on 2 different occasions and it was not. The first time they charged me around $1000 got home the car wouldnt start. The second time they said it was fixed and cost was $1884.00 got home same thing. This time I drove it to trade it the next day and it broke down on us on the interstate. I asked the manager in service what can he do to help make this right. He offered me a free oil change and free tire rotation. I have spent $3000 in this shop In the last 3 months and they never fixed my car and offer me a free oil change and rotation. I dont recommend the service at all. They say its fixed then send u on ur way. I will never use this place again for anything. Lesson learned.

First of all the impossible became my possible. During my recovery as an alcoholic I was somewhat discouraged of my past mistakes concerning my life choices ( one being credit). I somehow managed to maintain my paid off 05 Santa Fe for yrs. The inevitable happened and it was time to put her to rest. Service was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful. I forgot to leave my keys and walked to Sam’s Club. The service staff member met me near the Sam’s Club parking lot to get my keys. I think that was above and beyond! I also received a video of the under my car inspection with audio of the technician telling me my car was in good shape with details. Very happy customer.

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend McLarty. We are from Calif and dealing with a health issue at the Myeloma Institute here at UAMS. We will be here for 2 months ad we needed a newer car anyway. (My husband drives a 20 yr old Passat.) So I went to them, shared my story and what we needed. Besides a car, we needed their help. This is truly an awful car market and despite that, they had my car and helped me to overcome many other obstacles, like we didnt even bring a checkbook with us! I also needed help returning the rental car with my husband unable to drive and in the hospital. They did it. The service took three hours. I presented a coupon from a different dealership on check in, which they initially agreed but refused to accept later at checkout. They did not give me an estimate for work, and charged me $150 for oil change and tire rotation, which I think is excessive.

Horrible customer service!! Ipurchased a new vehicle that had not been delivered. After doing all the paperwork I was given a delivery date. That date came and went and no vehicle. I checked with my salesman, who assured me it was on its way. The 2nd time I checked I was given a date almost 2 weeks later. I called the dealership to speak with the manager to try to get an answer. I explained that I knew shipping times were crazy, but that it would be nice to have been given an honest answer, not being told a specific date. If the arrival date was unknown then tell the customer that. I also, explained that I felt we had been lied to to sell a car. He got very rude and told me they could sell that car to anyone else. I told him we still wanted the car, but just be honest about when it would arrive. Before we got off the phone he had the sales manager text my husband. When my husband called him back he told him they were canceling our contract.

I made an inquiry online about trading in my vehicle and received a phone call less than 2 hours later from Jack. I scheduled my same day appointment with him. When I arrived in person, Jack was very thorough and patient with me. I viewed and test drove both the Tiguan and Atlas. The Atlas was my more favorite choice and Jack was there to answer any questions for me at any time and made me feel comfortable offering water and snacks. Everyone was very polite and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I was on a slight vacation from Alabama to Oklahoma when my car broke down in lonoke Arkansas about 20 minutes from little rock. It was about 6pm when all this occurred so the dealership was closed at the time. I called the next morning and they got me in at 7:30 am; diagnosed the issue by 11 and i was back on the road. I greatly appreciate John and Greg that were at the service desk when i arrived. Theu were extremely polite and concerned about my issue and made sure we came up with a fair solution. This place of business is definitely has amzing customer service.

They werent persistent or pushy, and gave me a fair value on my trade in (mind you this was out of state and they werent able to inspect it). John set everything up so when I got to the dealership, I simply had to sign a few papers and I was good to go. There were some minor issues with the vehicle, but the McLarty team was amazing, and were willing to fix those issues at no additional cost. If you are a local customer, or out of state trying to buy a vehicle with their great prices, this is THE dealership to go with. Their dealership fee was over $600 CHEAPER than any of the Florida dealerships I tried to go through. I went in for a 100000 mile multi point inspection. No tire rotation no oil change. Needless to say was I surprised when they charged me $80 out the door. And this for an oil change!! Be aware of this place.
Greg in the service dept. was great. What was suppose to take one day took two weeks so that was frustrating. Also communication was slow. Most all the info I got I had to call the dealership to get.

I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I drove to McLarty Volkswagen from Dallas Tx to purchase a Atlas Cross Sport. The package on this vehicle was very difficult to find in Dallas, so I confirmed the vehicle was available with Sales person Ketcher and drove to Little Rock. I drove four hours to this dealership. Unbeknownst to me, this vehicle had 1600 miles on it. This was very disingenuous. Allegedly the owner let his wife drive the vehicle. My sales person didn’t disclose that to me during our phone conversations. But I was there, so I still talked numbers with them. The McLarty team told me they would work with me on the price based on the mileage. I ended up purchasing the vehicle but later found out, they only offered me the discount which was on the internet....same discount due to me anyway!Once I get home, I discovered hair all over the carpet, potato chips under the passenger seat and a small scratch on the passenger door.I called Ketcher and all he said was enjoy the vehicle.I should have followed my gut and not purchased the vehicle but my wife really wanted the vehicle, so I let her excitement cloud my judgement.I recommend Volkswagen vehicles, just don’t do business at McLarty VW in Little Rock Arkansas.
The car I bought, a GTI is great. The salesmen I liked. The sales manager was great. The only issue was the negation chip for the car is missing and they will have to order one and that means I will have to make another trip to Little Rock. At least I will get to drive my new car.

I called and talked to Ketcher a few days before buying my VW Atlas. He was very professional over the phone. Informative but not pushy at all. Inventory was low so we decided to look at another VW dealer but we were disappointed in the other dealers customer service so we drove over to McClarty and ended up buying an Atlas from Ketcher and everything was done absolutely professional and easy! Would definitely buy from them again!!
I went and traded my dodge grandcaravan and got a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas! If I could give Mclarty s service department a - star I would. I love VW but will never buy or do business with Mclarty again. They would not honor their promise. Treated us horribly! The service manager Bobby promised us a rental car after due to the fact it was an fecal on emissions and was covered under warranty and would take more than 3hrs to fix. Was stranded there for 7hrs. When asked Bobby said no matter what to not give us a rental!

Josh Cameron at McLarty Volkswagen in NLR sets the bar for all other salesmen!!I was in a car accident that totaled my car (great way to start 2021). I looked online and found a few cars I liked at the NLR location, so I called up and was connected with Josh. When my husband and I arrived, the first thing Josh did was take us into his office, discuss what we were looking for (criteria, etc), and then pulled up their inventory with those filters. Long story short, the very first car we test drove was the one we bought because he took the time to thoroughly understand our needs FIRST, rather than taking us straight out to the lot.When it came to meeting with the finance manager and signing paperwork, there was a bit of a wait due to how busy they were. Josh repeatedly came to check on us, apologize for the wait, and see if we needed anything. When we finally got done, my new car was out front waiting - fully detailed, full tank of gas, and a little gift to say thank you!!Working with Josh was hands down the best car buying experience weve ever had, and he has officially been deemed as our salesman for all our future car purchases. Scheduled an appointment for a recall item. The dealership delivered on the estimated time to complete. Especially like the video from the tech with comments on overall condition of the car. And the free vacuum and car wash was a plus. Overall a great experience!!
Unfortunately, the process of getting the dealership to respond to my request has taken 9+ days. I was forced to make repeated calls to the dealership and request, in addition to contacting a salesperson (Jack Bowles) to have them contact me, when my issue could have been resolved in a few hours. I would want to believe that my experience reversing a sales action and not purchasing a vehicle with McLarty Volkswagen is an abnormality and not typical.Additionally, the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas I own was purchased on May 13, 2020 from your dealership, which I took delivery of that day. Upon departure from the dealership, I was given a Proof of Insurance document (to provide law enforcement if stopped) and did not receive a contract, bill of sale or buyers order until June 7, 2020 by mail. I was not aware of any additional GAP insurance being added to the sale because I believed the truth and my best interest were being protected, which it was not and I should have responded earlier. I enjoy the product you sell, however, it’s very unlikely I will purchase from your dealership again. I expected better service!

I had such a great time when buying my car! Honestly, I didnt even go in to buy a car, I was getting an oil change on my NEW Volkswagen that i bought less than a year ago! Nathan was my car salesman and he did an incredible job finding a car I didnt even know I wanted and bringing it all the way from Missouri. Nathan was very humorous and kept me laughing. Even though Nathan was my main contact, I can tell that humorous atmosphere extends throughout the entire dealership. My financial manager(I HATE I cant remember the name!) was by far the funniest man Ive ever met and he made me feel like I was an actual person and not just a dollar sign. I really enjoyed all the days I had to go in there and feel like I should just go in and visit sometimes!
