While on vacation here in Myrtle Beach, our little group decided on a nice ice cream treat. There are plenty within walking distance of our hotel (the Wyndham Ocean Boulevard) and all within eyesight of each other. My husband found a review from Food and Wine that claimed Melt was The best ice cream in SC. Thats a pretty bold claim, so we decided to give it whirl. It did not disappoint. Not every flavor is made in house, but they take the effort to mark which ones are. We loved this place so much and wanted to try more flavors so we ended up coming back a second time. This place could easily charge twice the price for their offerings, but a double scoop (the small) was $3.50. On a recent trip to San Diego, my husband and I had hard pack ice cream and paid about $4.50 for a single scoop. Melt is definitely fantastic, hard pack, ice cream. The staff knew what was in each tasty flavor. Id highly recommend checking them out. The Goat was a personal favorite, along with Blackberry Chip, the Grasshopper, and Peach! Since we didnt have time to try every ice cream place in SC, I think Melt can definitely keep the title!

Cute front with seating, friendly staff, and SO many ice cream flavors to choose from. The vegan ice cream was actually good and there was a variety. They also have goat milk ice cream. The waffle cone slice you get with your ice cream is a cute touch. The wooden spoons and paper cups are environmentally friendly. Overall, a great place!

Oh. My. Gosh. I cannot say enough great things about this place! Hands down, best place to get ice cream in NMB. Their shop is so cute, the staff was very friendly, and they have about a million different flavors to choose from. They’re reasonably priced, too! I got the cappuccino crunch and it was probably the best cup of ice cream I’ve ever had. Definitely will be returning on our next trip to the beach!

There are about 3-4 places to get icecream. But this is no regular ice-cream. Very well done guys.! This is the real deal gourmet!. Loved it. Btw.. Had the strawberry cheesecake and Toasted Coconut on waffle cone. Amazing!

An adorable little ice cream shop. The line is long but goes down quickly. There were only a few select “home made” ice cream flavors which is odd. The first time I went, I got two scoops in a cup of the flavor cookie monster which is home made and it came with a piece of a waffle cone. It was enjoyable, although friends of mine called their flavors bland. I didn’t like the wooden spoon it came with since that was the only option. I tasted more of the spoon than I did the ice cream. The second time I went, I got the same in a waffle cone and it was much more enjoyable. The price was very reasonable and affordable. I would come here again!

The Lavender Honey is my go to favorite though Ive yet to find a flavor that wasnt delicious.Early afternoon has proven to be the best time to visit. If you go later in the evening, be prepared to join the throngs of others who want this one of a kind ice cream.Note that the small come is two very large scoops and easily enough for two people. The childs cone is more of a single serve size.

I got a scoop of the biscoff and a scoop of the dark chocolate Raspberry truffle on a waffle cone and it was delicious. The line was a bit long on Labor Day weekend but the staff made it move very quickly. Cant wait to go back!

The best ice cream in North Myrtle Beach. In the center of town. We visited at least daily and loved the Honey Roasted Peanut Butter ice cream. Cups or waffle cones satisfy everyone’s needs. Melt sits between Fenway Grill and Duffy’s ... you can eat then have dessert within a few steps.

The home-made flavors are fabulous ... they had about 8 or 9 each day this past weekend. They also have about 25 others which are good. Home-made waffle cones and treats, yum. The home-made Sweet Butter Corn Bread ice cream flavor is yummy even with pieces of real corn bread.

Delicious ice cream - only the starred items are homemade in house. Portions are large for the price and cups include a waffle cone slice so skip the extra dollar for a whole cone and avoid the mess. The spoons are made of wood, so thats different. We would definitely eat here again, less than a block from the beach!

Delicious! They make many of their own flavors, such as Biscoff, which was incredibly tight and creamy. Unfortunately, they did not have cake cones available, so you choose between a paper cup and a waffle cone. Waffle cones add $1 to the cost.
