Watch out for their finance games. They lie about their interest rate being competitive and wont be honest about their interest rate until you come to the table with your own bank to finance the deal. They advertised a car for sale but neglected to mention that you have to finance it through them otherwise no deal. They charge extra interest and tell you its the best so that they can make money off the interest. Its a frowned upon scheme that car dealers use which should be illegal to not disclose.

I bought my 2018 Jeep Cherokee from Lia in Northampton and have taken it there for routine service whenever needed. And until recently Ive found their service department to be first rate. The other day, however, my car wouldnt start. I called AAA who got me going with a jump and told me there was a problem with either the battery or the electrical system. I called the Lia service department and explained my situation. The person I spoke to basically told me to take a hike. What he actually said was they couldnt service my car until sometime in September (it was the middle of August when I called). I asked if he could suggest somewhere else in town where I could take it. No, he said. Absolutely no help whatsoever. I eventually got the problem fixed at the Firestone service center right up the street from Lia.
Amber is the best. She knows her product well and is very attentive. Its my 3rd car with her and even my neighbor got a new Gladiator keep up the good work thanks so much

By far, very, very far the best car buying experience ever! I had been looking for at least a fair deal on a near new Chrysler Pacifica since April 28. I viewed hundreds of Chrysler Pacificas on line, I have spoken to at least a dozen sales people/dealerships, begging them to get me into one. Oh there is a shortage... I looked at hundreds, all over priced. I found LIA CJDR in North Hampton, TWO HUNDRED MILES AWAY, I live in Dennis MA. I called, Amy (a gem), got me on the phone with Nick the sales manager, no way was I driving 200 miles to be disappointed by another auto-dealership experience after hundreds of hours of searching (that is not an exaggeration). In five, maybe ten minutes I had the deal I wanted on the car I wanted. Unfortunately, the traffic was a nightmare, I didnt get there until 4:30 pm they close at 5:00. On a beautiful summer Saturday, Dave Sepavich (sales), Nick (the sales manager), Mackenzie (finance) all stayed late to get me into a sweet 2020 Pacifica. If I could give these people ZERO stars I would. Literally just bought my wife’s Jeep from this place a month ago. Come to find out it needs new front breaks. AWESOME! So clearly these people aren’t even going through vehicles before they sell them. Pretty sure breaks are important but I guess lia sees that differently. Had an appointment to have the breaks looked at and it took 2 HOURS just to tell us we need the front ones. We live an hour away so we had to go back again today and get them done. The appointment was at 3 and they just brought the vehicle in at 4. LITERALLY THE WORST SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Get it together lia seriously. Unacceptable.

Probably one of the worst dealerships I’ve been to when it comes to dealing with the salesmen. Have only owned mopar vehicles my whole life, But would not recommend going to this dealership unless your willing to deal with rude salesmen who are not even willing to negotiate the price of a vehicle at all. Looked at a left over new truck going on 2 years old and they would not negotiate from sticker price 1 cent. Can buy the same truck brand new with the same options for pretty much the same exact price. Love ram trucks but will now start looking elsewhere for my vehicles and possibly other brands.

Please help us out. I realize that it is a difficult time for all right now. I am a teacher and my boyfriend works in the restaurant industry. Lia has had our only vehicle and has been “working” on it for a week but they have not given us any real updates. We even had to show up in person with a car we had to rent from Boston because no one was renting in our area. All I am asking is that someone calls us back to give us an update on how much we are going to have to spend to get it fixed. If I knew that we would be depending on family to get to work I might have taken the car to a dealership that could service us more quickly or at least give us the courtesy of communication. I am at a loss.EDIT: NOTE: I was not happy. At all. With the service at Lia. I had my vehicle towed for almost 200$ to LUNDGREN in GREENFIELD MA. Please consider going there first. They are amazing. The only “happiness” that came from working with Lia is that they did not charge me when I put up a stink. Again, just to make it clear, I was not happy with Lia. Go to greenfield, avoid Lia. Thank you.Edit 2: I never spoke on the phone with anyone at Lia, they only got in contact with me after I emailed.

I always come here for my jeep for an oil change and let me tell you something I literally just got an oil change about 1 month ago and I checked my oil today and it was empty like they never changed it at all I took the old oil out and it was black and clumpy they use nasty oil for cars please save your jeep and do your oil changed yourself another day without noticing and my jeep could of been damaged badly trust when I say check your car after you leave this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I had a very pleasant and personable buying experience at Lia Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Northampton. We went to the dealer knowing exactly what used car we wanted to look at. We were assigned Mackenzie as our sales rep. Mackenzie quickly verified if the car was still in stock and pulled the car up. Before we went for a test drive, she went over a lot of the options, has technology changed on cars. She was very thorough and patient with us answering all our questions.As we left for the test drive Mackenzie asked what type of driving I mostly do? I explained I had an hour commute and it was mostly highway driving. She tailored the test drive that included a short drive on the highway to let me see how the car handled on the type of driving I mostly do.Back at the dealership we entered the part of the process I hate the most, making the deal. It was actually very pleasant, no high pressure selling. My wife is the better negotiator, so she took care of this part. We did come to an agreement and purchased the car.Next step of the process, finance…ugh, the sign your life away part! Surprisingly this was also a pleasant and personable experience with Nick. He went over all the finance and warranty information very clearly and thorough, taking the time to answer all our questions.My wife and I highly recommend dealing with Mackenzie and Nick for a pleasant car buying experience. Zach wouldnt talk to me after I told him we were doing financing through our bank. Though he did give us a better offer by .5% we told him prior we were doing it through bank regardless. And ya know masic pushy car salesman stereotype stuff happened. The new guy we worked with gave us free tires though he was dope.

Everything was very professional and customer service friendly as it didnt take that long for my car to get serviced. Worked w. Jeremy. Was a good overall experience. Only down side...when I first looked at the car I pointed out some scuffing on the leather seats, and some paint marks in the trunk. Jeremy assured me the car would be fully detailed and these would all be removed. When I received my car, there was no evidence that this had been done. Was a bit disappointed by that.Otherwise, a great experience overall, from the test drive, to the paperwork, to having the car delivered. The customer service, minus that one issue, was good.
I bought a lease with them last November and it has been nothing but trouble since then. First, after I had signed the paperwork to my Jeep, they lost the title. They didnt have a loaner car for me so I drove around the car I was trading in until they found it. Then they changed the company that the lease was through. I brought up that my registration still had the old company and they said it was fine because they updated it. I thought it was all fine until I got an overdue excise tax bill because it was sent to the wrong leasing company. This was in July. I paid the excise bill with the interest, warrant, final notice fees, etc. because I was afraid what would happen if I didnt. Talked to them and thought it was resolved. Now it is October and I received yet another excise tax bill that is overdue because it went to the wrong leasing company AGAIN. I have tried calling twice now and still no one will call me back. I talked to my town and they cant change it, talked to my car insurance agent and they cant change it either. I am now on hold with the registry and they are having trouble with this also. Next month it will be 1 year since I started my lease. I do not recommend this dealer, it has been nothing but a headache.
I called the sales department twice to ask a few questions about getting a car. The first time I called, I told the woman that I couldnt give her a definite time I could come in to look at a car because of my schedule being all over the place. I will admit I was mumbling my schedule a bit since she wanted me to come Saturday and I wasnt sure if I would. Then I get hung up on. So I call again and a woman picks up and she sounds like the same woman I talked to before so I asked her if she hung up on me. She said no and the person she had last spoke with was a male. I go on to tell her that I was hung up on and she keeps insisting that it was my connection that was bad. Then she says oh the girl you just spoke with is right here, she said the call dropped. I say no and then she goes on to say that the call is choppy, she can barely hear me, etc etc. Sounds completely fake. She was acting very rude to me and not treating me as a serious buyer. Then I tell her I dont know if Im coming in anymore because of the way Ive been treated. She tells me thats fine. So Im just like whatever and I tell her to have a nice day and I say it a little loud since shes saying she cant hear me. Then she says maam this is no reason to yell at me. I try to explain to her that I wasnt trying to yell, just speak louder into the phone since she said she couldnt hear me. Then I get hung up on again. I called two people after that, the connection was just fine and no one said anything about my end of the line being choppy or that they couldnt hear me. I had clear conversations with them from the same place I made a call to this business. The other reviews on here seem to be positive but I definitely would not recommend speaking to the sales representatives
Amber did an excellent job helping us find the exact Pacifica Hybrid we wanted. When I first started looking, I wasnt sure what I wanted and she was patient and never pushy while I made up my mind. She was always quick to respond to emails and text messages. She went above and beyond to locate our lost headphones that were supposed to come with the car. She drove to another dealership on her day off to go get them! Thanks Amber!!

Awesome Experience!!I had gotten an incredibly affordable online quote for a Dodge Caravan so I went in to test drive and purchase. I live 45 minutes from the dealership. Once I got there we realized the online quote I got was no accurate for the specific van I was looking at, Matt, Dan M., Murray, and Anthony worked very hard to try to get the numbers to where I needed them to be to walk away with this van. When it became evident that I couldnt get that Dodge, they didnt give up and tried another way to get me into a great van. It ended up that I was able to walk away with a fantastic Chrysler Town & Country Touring. It had everything I wanted and more....and the numbers were right where I wanted them. Not only did they get me a great deal on a great vehicle, but they all worked to get the van ready, the paperwork done and the registration completed that day so I wouldnt have to make the trip back over the next day to get the van. Dan S. who wasnt working with us even stepped in to help speed things along and get my inspection sticker taken care of so I could get home faster. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I will definitely go back for my next car and recommend this dealership to others. They are awesome!!

I took my car in for a simple repair but asked if they could check the front brakes they had installed a few weeks back. They checked them and found nothing but rather than leave it at them at they went further to see if they could find an answer to my complaint of a funny noise and fortunately they did find a faulty tie rod. When I asked the manager Rachel Hawkins why they didn’t see that when they replaced the brakes, she kindly and very thoroughly explained why so I could understand. I do now get it. I love this dealership!!

When my wife and I dropped into Lia Chrysler Jeep to look at the new Jeeps and to decide if we should trade, we were introduced to Nicholas Kane the sales representative. Nick went out of his way to accommodate us and after we picked three we were interested in, Nick drove them up front so we didnt have to canvas the parking lot in the cold. Bought/Leased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Limited. My sales rep was Audra.Audra is a Jeep owner and was excellent at listening to me first and then focusing on what I wanted to look at and compare to. She had an answer to every one of my questions. When it came to making the deal it went perfect. She presented what I was looking for and we were in agreement in about 10 minutes. No fooling around which drives me crazy! When it came to delivery she spent the necessary time with my wife and I to understand the new technology and operation of the vehicle. I would recommend her to anyone! I would recommend this dealership to anyone!EDIT: 10 Months later December 2018I had to change this review because of SERVICE. After a great buying experience we immediately experienced a UConnect issue with the radio/control center in the car. Played hell getting that fixed and things went as expected for the next 9 1/2 months. Now we need an oil change and a safety recall. I defy anyone to go online and make an appointment for either one. You are sent in circles on anything to do with service or recalls. Every page requires you to allow them to use your location and will ask for your VIN. When I attempted to find out what recall I had I loaded my VIN as required and they said I didnt have a recall which is how I got to this page anyway! Regardless I still want the oil change appointment,,,,, No can do!!!!!!! Failing the attempt to do this online with the dealers website I went to chat. Whats your VIN? Every question in the book but still no appointment. I went to another dealership. Ive never in my life had such a horrible experience like this,,,,,,,,,,,,,, FOR an OIL CHANGE!

Rachel Hawkins was fantastic and communicated very clear as to what my vehicle needed for repairs and was prompt at getting them completed on my 2018 Dodge Durango. It was such a pleasant surprise that a dealership exists that truly treats customers like family and does exactly as they say they will. Most importantly it was fantastic that Rachel understood the value of my time and got me rolling in a loaner vehicle for the evening and didnt leave me waiting around like other dealerships have done in the past. It was a rainy day, and most of the staff were attending a training session.I called Trevor earlier in the day, and explained my request: to trade in my lease, and purchase a new vehicle.I was treated with respect, and not pushed into anything.I live 50 miles from this dealership, and pass two other Jeep dealers to get to this one.Trevor set me up with some vehicle options, and handed me off to Eric Wright.Eric was very thorough, even though he was the only one on the floor, and had to handle a few other customers requests. That boy is very conscientious!On the way out, I forgot one of the keys at the dealership, and Eric put it in the mail for me that day.Not a huge fan of the finance office - really tried to push the service protection plans on me.Very efficient dealership. Great inventory, knowledgeable sales staff.
Brought my jeep patriot in with different engine codes that i was unable to diagnose. They fit me in for service even though i did not buy there and diagnosed my problem and correctly fixed it as well as got some covered under my warranty. I experienced some major health issues while my vehicle was in for service and Patrick and the service manager were wonderful at working with me and keeping my vehicle there until I was able to safely pick it up. wonderful experience. To whom it may concern - I want to inform you of my recent experience with Lia Dodge in Northampton, MA. As a dealership, I am NOT impressed. I worked via email and phone for a few days prior to my scheduled arrival. I had a vehicle of which I was specifically speaking of in these conversations. Prior to my appointment I was told(I have the emails to prove it)a specific price for a monthly payment. I was also told what I would be given for my trade to reach the payment agreement, and I was told that everything was set. All I needed to do was come in, see the vehicle and everything would be good to go. I arrived for my appointment, had additional conversation about everything I was told(mind you - these in person conversations happened with the same people I spoke to earlier in the week), inspected the vehicle I was there to see and sat back down with the salesman. After making me wait about another half hour I was then told everything via phone conversations and the emails I had was not going to be honored. They were going to change absolutely EVERYTHING about the original deal. I will also mention that I passed up 2 other deals at 2 other dealerships for this. Stay away from this dealership. As a business owner I can tell you this is NOT how you work with customers. This dealership fills you with lies to get you into the door and then yanks the perceived truth out from underneath you. Not only did they lose my businesses business but also the business of the person who was with me. Stay away. Youre better off looking elsewhere.

I have been bringing my Wrangler here for service for over a year. The staff and techs are always very accommodating but even more importantly they are honest and straightforward about needed maintenance. They offer great advice and have taken great care of my car and I would highly recommend them.
