This wine shop has a wide variety of cheap and affordable booze to choose from. They also sell craft beers, pastries, and macaroons. They have the most friendly and accommodating staff than any other wine shop in the city. And their prices are very affordable, too. I will be back here next week for my fathers birthday. This wine shop located near our area was very cheap! They sell cheap wines, beers, and other booze than any other wine shop in the city. I always go here whenever I needed to buy a wine or beer for my father, uncles, and friends. Their staff, John, was always very helpful. He helped me choose what wine or beer to purchase for everyone. Highly recommended!

Very nice wine shop! The staves are super cool, knowledgeable and accommodating. This is my secret spot to enjoy a different (and delicious) selection of wines. The arrangement of the wines was very organized and cleaned. AWESOME place if you want to buy any kind of wine. I will give a five-stars satisfaction rating because I am very satisfied!

One of my favorite wine shops in the bay area. Excellent wine buying/tasting experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about local wines and festivals around the bay area. I don’t know anything about wine making or choosing my wine but i felt welcome in this space and ended up having one of the most memorable moments here after tasting a great selection the dude recommended.

Large and interesting selection of wine to drink there or take away for all budgets. The staff are really helpful, friendly and knowledgable and are always willing to give good recommendations. If you’re sitting in, the atmosphere is really cosy and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Great dinner! Three of us tried each others dishes. Pappardelle with lamb ragout - rich, meaty, perfectly al dente pasta - was the standout dish. Linguini frutta di mare was crammed with fresh seafood - a close second - probably even a tie for first! The seafood was delicate and not overcooked, in a rich sauce. The kid loved the lasagne - huge portion - she couldnt finish, nor could we after three incredible dishes. Service was impeccable.A delightful experience that we would gladly repeat if in the area again!

One of my favorite local spots. The owners, (Stevie and Josiah) and all staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, approachable and fun. They are community-minded, learn their customers names and are breaking down barriers about thinking wine and beer knowledge are inaccessible to the general public. I love their wine club and Sunday School.

They have a world class wine selection. Stevie, the owner, is awesome - really nice and super helpful & knowledgeable. So happy I found this place. I live 2,000 miles away, but I’ll be back!

(I find most comparable places have very idiosyncratic selections.) The Bay Grape is much more than a wine bar. While there are plenty of wine bars in SF and Oakland to choose from, the Bay Grape is more of a community center and offers an opportunity to really get to know your neighbors as well as exemplary wines.

No matter if you just passed your sommelier test or if you just pounded a box of Franzia in a parking lot, you will find knowledge and wisdom here. If you want to get/drink some delicious-ass wine without having to be like the folks in Somm on Netflix, then this is the spot for you. Dont get me wrong, Stevie and Josiah (and all the staff) are a flood of knowledge. Im just saying, I can go in there and say, I want something that youd have while listening to Marvin Gaye and they got me. Ive never been able to describe what style/type of wine I like; I went to some blind taste testing (on Mondays) and now Im like, Yo, whats good with a new world, low acidic wine, that has hints of over ripened black berry and some pepper. Bottom line, they truly care about their craft and will happily cultivate your personal taste. Go there, talk about some fermented grapes, and have a good time.
