I always find the spices and groceries that I need when I go and the customer service is always warm and welcoming. I love this market and so does my husband hes from Jamaica and loves that he can find things here from his home country.

It reminded me on how much I missed home. Was about to find the seasoning, I needed drinks, and pattys. It has a nice road side shop vibe. Saving you were in Jamaica.

I being from Africa was disappointed with the prices for smoked fish at the African and Carribean market on 8th. Their prices were out of this world insane. This place though...has smoked herring that is fresher and better than the other and the price is more than fair. I love it!!! This is how you keep customers coming, keep it up!

My Jamaican Cousin took me to this Jamaican store. It was excellent.

I purchased spoiled, seal already popped walkerswood hot and spicy jerk seasoning for 6.50$! Im hot about that!! I also purchased a bottle of pick a peppa sauce that was fine.

Please instruct clerk to wear a mask. This is an indoor space.. It is for the customers protection....as well as his. I was a bit disappointed, because all the patrons were wearing masks and the clerk wasnt. Although I found him to be extremely pleasant, it is a State mandate. Visited on 7.15 20, around 5pm. Lets all protect each other and keep your establishment safe, as well as the community.

Great little corner store. I usually goes in for incense or the fresh baked meat pies. They have an assortment of corner store items from shampoo to milk. There is a lot of Jamaica specific products, but not exclusively. Every time I go in, I remind myself that they carry a useful assortment. They dont let one just browse though, it is a what do you want kind of place. Staff often smells strongly of marijuana and seems a bit distracted. Everyone who works there seems either Jamaican, or the second generation. From the outside it looks more like a specialty than it really is. The incense is quite good. Everything seems reasonably priced.

Quaint but has all the authentic items of Jamaica! They have a variety of fresh and frozen products, as appropriate. Finding stores with genuine seasoning is near impossible in the Bay Area - this is where you need to go! Street parking is luck of the draw.

Basically, the only Jamaican store in town and it is nice to have it available. The prices are a touch high but, for the convenience, I really have no other choice. However, everything is always fresh and the proprietors are really cordial and welcoming. The patties are fantastic, actually some of the best I have ever had. I actually drive close to 50 miles just to go and stock up.

The kids playground area is well fenced to keep youngins from going out into traffic. There are great picnic spots and BBQ pits for those birthday get togethers. The water feature is very nice but it sometimes isnt running and that annoys me. The setting of the park couldnt be nicer and the shady sidewalk is a welcome respite from the heat.

I always have a pleasant experience at this business. Always greeted and helped when needed. Great to see many items that one takes for granted when in the Caribbean or cities like Miami or NYC. Likkle but dem tallawah (small but mighty). Theres ackee, dried peas, plantains, vita malt, ginseng, Ribena, SSS tonic, hardough bread, crix, tams/hats for locs, reggae/Bob Marley t-shirts etc. Ooo, theres also saltfish. Its a bit on the pricy side as this is the Bay Area, but also theyre one of the only businesses of this kind in the area.

Our family shops here about once a month sometimes more. Good selection of food and friendly service, they make you feel like family.

Very small but authentic Jamaican store. Decent selection of hot sauces, pretty good patties and hard dough bread. Last time I was there I found guava jam (Very tasty)

They had the flavors I was looking for but his service needs improvement! The patties had no meat in them and the crust was messy.. I wish they were fresh, and not frozen.

Di place is a must in dis area, dem man have alot of products. I would love to see them become a full fledged marketplace. Patties are delicious too, not like east coast but just add sum peppa sauce and your good.

Has what I need except for problems sourcing Grace banana chips it seems. Patties are from NYCs Royal Caribbean Bakery so Ill take that (dont really need any local experiments). Has a decent selection of ground provisions, the usual canned goods (calaloo, ackiee, and such), buns, and even some frozen packs of roast breadfruit that were better than expected.

Very Jamaican - in the sense that I arrived at 0955 and at 1015 the store was not open, no answering of the phone, no opening times on display and website under construction. Can’t even see inside because there is something that resembles a curtain obstruction my view. No food for me :-(

Great little shop with lots of sauces, spices and freshly baked patties. Also juices and drinks mostly from around the Caribbean. I made sure to stock up on Walkerswood Jamaican Jerk marinade, Matouks Kuchela & that amazingly hot scotch bonnet pepper sauce (a must have).

Minto sells greats item but the prices change weekly and his stuff are very expensive

Now Mintos An amazing Authentic Jamaican market, with fruits, spices, (best selection of Caribbean spices in the east bay) Jamaican meat pies, (if you have not had one, ass this to your bucket list), and a super interesting sauce section with dozens of exotic and hard to find sauces. This is where the real Yardies go when they cook around here.
