The name is a little misleading because it is not in Montclair but it used to be.This is the opposite of a big box store. It is a small town store. There is someone there who will help you. Maybe even someone you will recognize the next time you go in.Besides service, sometimes there is free parking (on the side of the building). If you park on the street--you pay.When I went in yesterday, besides having 3 keys made, I got a smile and some conversation

Rude staff makes zero effort for good customer service. Be prepared to pay high prices.

Easy hardware store to run into. Has had most things Ive gone there for. You can always call in advance. There is always help near by.

Of course this isnt a Home Depot but it has an amazing amount of inventory for a little store. Theyve always been able to help me. And getting keys made is fast and cheap

Ive been at montclair at different times when Ive needed a varaity of things. It is a medium store that has a lot of items from plants to large tools. I have always been able to find what Im looking for, and finding the owners or one of there support team. All of them are very supportive of helping you to find what you need. If something you change is not what you want you can return it as long as it isnt opened. I had to do that, and he told me to just bring it back. I do enjoy this store because it reminds me of going with my dad. It is a great place, and they will do every thing they can to help you. Take your time!

Good place but please...the lady at the check stand should put her phone down. Standing there waiting for her to finish a text, and then have her stop and read the response while taking care of my sale WAS LAME.. that alone makes me not wanna come back. But i will. Good place and you gotta support small biz even if they have an idiot at the register.

Very convenient location. Never have any problems finding parking in the years Ive shopped here. Friendly and helpful staff. Now stocking Kelly Moore paint! Pay a smidge more and save time going to the big box store. Easy to support this local business

Surprisingly well stocked for a small store. all the basics plus a little more. walking distance for me, not the trama of big box stores.

They must improve customer service. treat it with the respect they deserve. It is better to treat customers kindly and not lose a customer. You should receive it with a nice welcome to all equally. and give the same service to every customer equally. better quality of service and less look at the skin of the color of customers.

Third time. Well staffed and clean. Smaller than the MacArthur store but have always found what I needed. Much better social distancing as well.

Its a relatively small store but usually has what I need. Prices are fair. Personal help is easily available. And there usually is not a wait. Short line if any.

The houseplants selection is good, but not massive compared to Home Depot or Lowes. However, I did like that they had a planting expert to make sure you properly plant your little plant babies. Would definitely come again for any future needs!

For a neighborhood hardware store it carries a lot and its pretty low key. A much better experience than going to Home Depot.

This place is well organized and has a staff that is knowledgeable in many areas and can assist you. It is not the closest hardware store to me but it is the one I go to most often.

I have shopped here before for various fasteners and hardware and have usually found what Im looking for, but not always. Today I called asking a pretty basic question about a specific piece of hardware. Whoever took my call tried to help for a grand total of 45 seconds before giving up and telling me to come in and look for myself. No thanks as a customer id appreciate a tiny bit of effort on your end to avoid wasting my time. Ill take my business elsewhere.
