This store has a stated 15 day return policy as published on their website. A purchased item was returned or attempted to be returned within that timeframe and they refused to refund the purchase. I have called repeatedly, filed a dispute with my credit card company. Meanwhile my son left the merchandise at their store more than 2 months ago with the understanding that they would contact me and issue a store credit. The manager is never in or when she is in refused to speak with me on the phone. They have the merchandise - I have no store credit and Im out $121. In my book this is stealing! Stay far, far away from this business.

This takes a lot for me to post, because I LOVE independent outdoor stores and am a big fly fisher here in Ocala; but this store is a complete let down. The person who gave them a 5 star review saying that staff was friendly is an employee and another 5 star reviewer is related to the manager so Flint Creeks 3.5 star review isnt actually accurate at all. The staff wasnt friendly, they just seemed really desperate to sell something -- they hovered over me and distantly followed me through the store waiting for me to buy something because I was the only one in there. The inventory is scarce, old, outdated --some of the t-shirts have stains on them from what looked like them being folded so long-- and everything is completely overpriced. Sorry guys just being honest; great concept, horrible execution.

I was shopping for a walking stick. The store personnel was knowledgeable and helpful. Im pleased with my purchase, and the experience.

Only go here if you are looking for clothes that you wont actually be wearing in the outdoors. I wanted to shop locally for an upcoming backpacking trip. They have very few supplies. I did buy the last stove fuel they had and a new spork. At checkout the manager asked is that all you are buying? WOW. After I told her they didnt have anything else I needed she argued with me about the Smartwool socks they did have, all size small. Very disappointed. I walked to Dicks and bought everything I needed.
