Started this process in JULY 2021. Signed all the paperwork paid the down payment a few weeks later. Fast forward 2 months and get told “you probably won’t be in til 2023” that’s nuts. Needless to say we cancelled, waiting on deposit refund and looking for a new home AGAIN.
To choose the model and the employees were great. The the office help to pick all out what we wanted were great. The placement of the home was great. When the walk thru to check the home ……… the workmanship was absolutely bad! My thirteen year old grandson could have done better!! We had a date for repairs and no -one showed up and no phone call to say why. I have two calls into the service department and no response… of course the home is paid for…… what do they care?!!!!
This month October 2021 we began the process of buying a home. Well its a year later and i just got my coveted sticker to move in. No electricity and no water yet. No walk through. So many problems. Doors.wont closed . Glue on wall. Rip in a wall. Carpet not finished in 4 doorways. I can go on and on. Do not buy. Go elsewhere. If they do actually come and do the repairs i will repost.
To say Im absolutely disgusted at how you guys run a business is an understatement. I started this process with you guys in Jan 2021. We are now in September and I had a delivery date between November 5-8th. Now today I receive a call from Carla at the Chiefland location saying they will not build my mobile home unless I come up with 10,000 due to a price increase. Mind you I already been thru two price increases before my closing. Im a single mom of two children. There is no possible way I can come up with that money. I already put down 13,000 in addition to the 3,500.00 requested before delivery. I had made living arrangements when I got the delivery date and Im now living temporarily with someone. So not only now are you telling me you refuse to build my mobile home without the 10,000 I now have no place for myself or my two small children to stay after December. I had my closing back on June 7th so why am I being penalized for the price increase? Also with the two other price increases my contract was already completed and I was penalized. I have never in my life been treated the way this company has been treating me. Not for nothing but my purchase is almost 120,000.00 and Ive been treated this. All I keep getting is material has went up so we need to charge you more. Well I signed a contract agreeing to pay you a certain amount for what I picked out. Prestige has now change a legal binding contract on me three times. I would really love for someone to contact me and explain how this is ok to treat their customers
So for about a year we looked at purchasing a manufactured home and went to numerous dealers everywhere until we came across prestige homes and I have to say we are glad we did. I purchased ours from the Inverness fl location and went through Ken and his people. I am a sceptic and I never thought my home would be as good as it is but it turned out amazing. The first time I set foot in my new home I thought for sure something would not be to my liking but I was wrong, it was awsome and we love it. Ken set everything up and it went as good as it could of and we are happy. Thank you ken and thank you prestige I truly appreciate it and if anyone has any questions about my experience throughout this project I would gladly answer any of them. Thanks
What a fly by night operation. Their subcontractors removed my old home without saying when they were. Were not moved out yet. Their subcontractors will tear your home up and do a halfassed job to boot. Spray wall texture all over the island fridge and cabinets. All molding that was removed for texture put back on sloppy.
I wish I could leave ZERO stars. This company ted signed us up for a 2 bedroom home and took over 20 thousand dollars for 5 months, only to HAVE us denied a permit 4 times from st lucie county because they failed to do the research to find out what type of home can be built near the water. ..then to tell us 5 months later they do not build that type of home....also site planner came to the property 3 times and a,survey was also done ....how incompetent can you be not to do your due diligence in finding out county rules for building homes....then blaming the county, although rule was already on effect in 2017 and I purchased on 2018. This company and manager are not the ones you should trust with your home...they dont do the work ...just want to make the sale ....small company that will not grow without hard work and due diligence. Helped to destroy a dream we once had !!!
The buying process is good. However the time frame is not what they stated. We were told 2 weeks to set up our home and it has been 7 weeks. If you buy from them plan on the process taking a long time and having to make a lot of phone calls to stay on top of the subcontractors.
We went in to check the mobiles they just told us go right in they all open. We didn’t have no pressure at all and no one bothering walking behind you. They gave us the space we needed and I’m glad.
Worst decision ever buying from this place the entire process was a nightmare. Besides all the screw ups and mistakes along the way we finally got into our home 4 months later than what was promised but I tried to stay positive and think we are finally in it will be ok. Now after only living in the home for 3 months it is literally falling apart. Set aside the fact that none of the repairs from the walk through have even been started we now have a bath tub full of stress cracks because it wasn’t set right and has been leaking because the stress cracked were too small to see in the beginning but now they are huge. The floor in several places squeak and you can feel the floor boards move. None of the doors open or close properly including the front door. All of the trim throughout the house is falling off. I wish we could go back in time and buy from someone else I don’t see how we can be expected to pay on this house for 30 years when it won’t last 5
If I could rate this company in the negative, I would do -100 stars. My wife and I have been constantly trying to get our home repaired through all of the put-offs, no call backs, ignored contacts, and general avoidings to contact us.. only one has actually contacted me back. Thank you Dallas for that, but since then, not a word AGAIN!!! Ok, I see how this goes with Prestige Mobile Homes/Nobility Homes..(1) Bring the customer in with glorified model homes on the lot.(2) Kiss up to the customer, tell them all the wonderful things we can do to make this a home to remember.(3) Lock them in with a deal they say is so wonderful(4) Shake your hand after signing the contract and say youre going to love itHeres what happens after you leave...(1) Laughingly to each other Who was that person again?(2) Put that contract at the bottom of the stack.(3) We got more important things going on at the moment.(4) Hey, its them again on the phone asking about the status of their home. What do I tell them? Nothing!! Dont answer it, or tell them we are out to lunch, on an important call, or busy with other customers, in a meeting.Look, its plain and simple.. they could care less about you, your home after purchase. They made it crystal clear that your money in their hands is the goal, not your happiness or satisfaction.Do yourself a favor, walk away, NO RUN AWAY!!!! Dont look back!!!! This companys customer service is beyond pathetic.No more were sorry we lost your number we werent aware of this issue nonsense!! I mean come on, we may have been born in the day but not yesterday. Own up to your mistakes, come fix these massive issues of cracked walls, falling in ceilings, holes in walls that your contractor never repaired and painted.. we even have outlets that pull out of walls, never been connected underneath. Come on, your excuses are old and repetitive. You claim you have great homes.. stop lying because your true intentions are transparent. You have brought this upon yourselves for ignoring our constant pleas. So sick of the way you run away when something goes wrong. Do the right thing and fix all these problems with my house, I will take back all the negative remarks but since I know you wont, I wont give up either on informing everyone of your shady ongoing business deals.
Both gentleman were helpful and applied no pressure tactics. We were shown 3 models and spoke of the many features. After comparing to another competitor, we decided to go with Prestige. Come to find out, the neighbor-to-be has a Prestige home. The site we visited was in Punta Gorda, not Ocala.
No-one ever even acknowledged we were there. All the homes were locked and the salesperson made eye contact and didnt even ask if we wanted to look at any homes. Very rude and unprofessional.
Do not waste your time the sales staff were rude hard to get a price on upgrades and the quality really was not very good and while they offer a lot of homes they had few to see here and wanted us to travel all over to see other homes.
One of the worst places to go!! The salesman was very rude & told me I could not afford this model!! DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!! Then you cant afford my business!!
