We purchased our home 1 year ago. Top of the line Skyline. We have issues with the a/c and they wont answer our phone calls nor will they do anything to help us get the issue repaired. The a/c company blames Skyline. Skyline wont talk to us, only Southern Comfort. BUYER BEWARE. Shady stuff happens with Southern Comfort.

They were Awesome. Ms Daphne was Great. She did everything she could to get us in a New home. Very Special person. Very Nice to work with on processing of our paper work. After we let her know what we were looking for she went to work and fulfilled all our expectations. She done a Fantastic Job finding exactly what we were wanting and made us Happy. She had the best Attitude for A Sales person, Very Sweet to Her All her People that came in. From what we Saw, Very Satisfied Customers. All in All. Bottom line up front, when Im in the market for a value home again, David and his team at SCMHC will be my first call.For background, a mobile home was never a consideration until trying to provide shelter for my not so fortunate brother. I contacted a long list of mobile home dealers in central Florida and it didnt seem many were thrilled about selling a single section, but we hit it off right away because instead of trying to upsell me on a home, David asked me what I needed for my budget and helped me not only stay below the budget, but set me up with exactly what I wanted in the home. How can you beat that, below cost and exactly to order?The sale was for a sight unseen TRU MH 1460 and I feel like we got a great deal on the home through a professional and reliable dealer whos first priority is the customer. The part I didnt understand was the permitting process, but after we got that nailed down, and the pad constructed, it was quick work to get the home delivered and setup. The subs installing the mobile home did great and efficient work. There was considerable distance between their home and the work location, but were always helpful and efficient in their work, even after having to make multiple trips to complete the installation.There were some follow-on issues with the home, but David stuck to fixing the issues long after the sale was completed. If youre looking for a great deal from a company that cares about and delivers what you want, that follows up after the sale, then this is one extremely satisfied customer who says go to Southern Comfort Mobile Home Center there in Ocala. Rock on David!

Purchased a townhome manufactured home from Southern Comfort Mobile homes. Have only lived in it for couple weeks, but seems to be of good quality. A few minor problems with doors and other minor things, but overall, appears to be better than expected. Had a problem with hot water heater, but townhome repaired within 24 hrs.Dealing with southern comfort has been a real pleasure. Both Daphne and Angie have bent over backwards to address and quickly resolve any problems that arose, and were always responsive, when contacted. All staff at dealership have been excellent.All the people involved in delivering, setting up, installing items, and working in home have been very able and hard working, despite frequent heavy rain and abnormally hot weather.Time will only tell how well the home holds up, but at this point we are happy with it. No matter what happens with the home, Southern Company gets my vote as The place to buy your manufactured home.I did all the elect, water, and sewage hookups. I will say that doing so saved me a good bit of $,but if you intend to do it yourself, you need to have some mechanical skills, tools, and be prepared for dirty hard work. I will be happy to give anyone contemplating buying a townhome any advice I can, and I will authorize southern comfort to give out my phone number.

I bought a Fleetwood mobile paid cash for it $69000 for a home that took only $15000 to build. It is a piece of junk. Had to fix gaping holes in my floors behind closed panels and walls. The 2x4 and 2x6 are not real true wood it’s puzzled 2x4 and 2x6 put together everything is made of cardboard. The lady from Fleetwood Michelle N. Is rude and it takes an act of Congress to get any repairs done. David from southern comfort did help the best he could but I feel like I got cheated from a cheap home. My whole life savings into this home not even a year old had to replace my ac coil pan. And my evaporator coil it was leaking Freon Gaping holes in my floors fix cabinets cracks in my ceiling that Fleetwood would not fix they blamed mobile home masters outta Ocala for the damages. I had to fix myself. The tubs had cracks in it. Water valve made of plastic busted flooded my house while I was at work. Not pleased at all FLEETWOOD is a horrible home. I can’t post any reviews about Fleetwood on there website cause there is no place to put a review so I’m writing one from the place I bought it from. Never ever ever buy a Fleetwood trust me ppl you will regret it. All the people from southern comfort are great just not there product and not Fleetwood

Never buy a fleetwood, they are poorly built and use liw grade materials. I got 7 years out of my house before it needed a complete o er haul from floor to roof.
