They are very expensive, my cost was $1034 with sensor calibration so I expected better workmanship. The washer fluid hose was routed incorrectly causing it to pinch off the flow. No big deal I fixed it. However the sensor area looks bad, see pic. Very sloppy considering the amount I paid. It certainly did not look like this from the factory, my car is pretty new. Cant recommend them.7/29/21 UPDATE: Took it in for a follow up and they told me it is the rain sensor pad and can be replaced. Well, the replacement was done quickly but it actually looks worse than before! Guys, figure out how to make it look like factory new or dont offer to replace Mazda windshields. Good grief!

Useless. Needed my mirror glass replaced. Went to the website, cant do mirror glass on the website, called local number, takes you to a national switchboard that tells you to use the website...Finally found a special number for mirror glass, got it ordered and set up an appt. Drove into okc from n edmond(40 mile round trip) waited almost an hour to find out they ordered the wrong part. Was told they would get the right one ordered and call to set up a new appt. Next appt (40 miles) they had the same wrong part. This time they say they are getting the factory part from the dealer and will call when ready and adjust the price for the hassle. That was a week and a half ago and not a word.

Today, 4/19/[email protected]., WO#264742, replaced Windshield and 3-Wiper Blades. Today, was the 1st time I utilized Safelite AutoGlass. I received excellent service from start Vehicle Check in to finish Work Completion. The work was completed in 45 minutes, recd several emails keeping me informed on the work status. Mr. Ethan, Safelite Technician, put my mind at ease by explaining the work to be done and the way I should treat the Windshield once in my possession. I recommend this location to anyone.

My repair didnt fix my windshield at all. The crack kept spreading. I decided maybe I needed a full replacement of the windshield and tried 1. emailing - no response after days then 2. chat - I was told to I had to call and 3. calling- got a automated system that gave a promo code and advised to schedule online, couldnt talk to anyone.

I had an appointment scheduled on 6/25, at 11 am CT, which was made a week earlier on 6/15. I had specified with both the Safelite agent and my insurance agent that I requested OEM glass. It was required that the insurer approve the request before the appointment. When I arrived at the technician site at Metropolitan Ave, OKC, the representative told me that the claim had not yet been approved and has been trying to get a hold of the insurance company. He told me it might be a couple of hours before he reaches them to get their approval because they were on lunch. I drove back to Norman, a 40-minute drive to my home and near my insurance agents office. I went into the office to speak with them; they told me Safelite should have been able to submit the work order to them for pending approval. It was clear that I had been lied to by the Safelite office, and they failed to get the work order submitted, though they had a week and a half to take care of that. Additionally, they did not try to contact me before driving 40 minutes to know that they had not gotten approval yet. I only decided to go into the office because they had an earlier availability than the mobile service. However, due to the unprofessional and unacceptable service, I have decided to terminate the pending work performed by Safelite and change to a competitive service who completed the replacement in the upmost professional manner. This location has severely damaged the brand of Safelite for this incident; the company should really reconsider their work for future service. My insurance agent noted that there had been multiple complaints and incidents from the two shops in OKC. The on-site associate didnt express remorse when I informed them I would change businesses due to their error. ZERO STARS WOULD BE THE BEST RATING IF POSSIBLE.

I tried to call and get a quote, bit their automated system does not allow you to talk to a real person. Sorry, I cant do business with a company like that. Just for fun I went online to get a quote as they suggest in their automated system. Its almost $200 more than any other quote I got.

Quick, easy and fast service. The only issue I had was, no one told me when to take off the tape on my windshield. When trying to call and ask. Their phone system kept hanging up on me. Overall it was a great experience.

I wasnt very happy about the service that offered to repair the chip in the window. I thought I had an appointment on Monday the 19th of July but when I called to confirm the appointment they no record of my appointment. No one seemed to care about what happened. Didnt even try to setup another appointment time. This inaction by Safelite really disappointed me, their attitude was like no body really cared about customer care.

Courteous service and good work. About to test that nationwide guarantee because the windshield gasket has now come loose on my Honda Pilot... Will update if theres a problem but I dont anticipate one. 😁 UPDATE: True to their word, its all fixed up now. As many others have noted, theres no way to talk to a human being when you call - definitely a turnoff 😬 when youre just trying to figure out how to get that gasket repaired! Actually dropped a star over this lack of personal customer service. Location was great. Overall company not so good at customer service I guess...

We were getting our kicks on Route 66 when a rock cracked our windshield. We were able to easily schedule a next day appointment to have it fixed. Everyone here was so kind and accommodating. Due to COVID-19 their wait area is closed but we were just passing through. They provided us waters and we sat in the shade on their picnic table to wait. They were lighting fast and we were back on the road (with safety instructions given twice) in 90 minutes.

To be fair, I was long overdue to replace my windshield! I chose Safelite, yet opted to go to their location in lieu of them coming to me. Im still impressed with the fast turn-around time. Within 10 minutes of my arrival, a tech inspected my car, discussed the repair I was scheduled for and collected my car. In less than an hour, the new windshield was installed! The same tech met me at my car to wipe down the pillars adjacent to the windshield as he noticed they were dirty. Ill use them again for sure!!

There is a leak in the windshield these people installed about 6 months ago. My service time was set between 8am-12pm at my work place. My tech calls at 11:45 and says he will be here in about 20 minutes or so. So hes gonna be late. I ask how long this might take to figure out and he has no idea, which doesnt work because I get off in just a few hours. No explanation or apology or anything. Would not recommend using this service based on my experience with them so far.

Great experience. I had cracked my Wrangler windshield through carelessness. Geico recommended Safelite to replace it. I opted to drop my vehicle off. I walked to Cracker Barrell to eat while they worked. The work was done in under half an hour. The tech who replaced it (Brendan) noticed a scratch in the new glass (really small, I probably never would have seen it) and got me free new wipers and a discount. I was pleased with this level of service.

Replaced my windshield just fine but seated the wiper arm too far up and it now hits the side pillar trim even on the lowest setting. You think the tech who installed it would have tested the wiper to see if they put the blades back on right. Lack of attention to detail from the tech who fixed my car.

Wonderful experience here today. Promptly created by the reception to get the process started. Keifer, the tech, was with me in moments to walk my vehicle and see what needed to be repaired. He immediately noticed a problem of a part missing from the body shop years ago. Ive had it in the mechanic, the dealership, and other windshield replace places and no one ever noticed this. He fixed the problem while doing my windshield repair and fixed something that has bugged me for years. Amazing customer service and would recommend this location 100 times over.

I tried to share this on their website, but of course it wouldnt ever work.The middle slider on my back glass was busted out by a rock. We scheduled online for Safelite to come out and fix it. The tech came out 4 days later. Once he had been here about 45 min he let me know they had ordered the wrong piece. The glass they ordered and brought was for the older body style truck. He was really nice and told me unfortunately to install the correct piece it would be $800 more + I would have to take it to the shop. Due to the higher cost I filed a claim through insurance and scheduled an appointment for the following Wednesday. I dropped it off at 10AM. A tech walked me out and said they would be replacing the whole back glass. I told him it was between them and insurance, but the middle slider was the only piece damaged. I returned at the end of the day to my truck in the exact same condition it was when I dropped it off. I asked why it wasnt fixed for the 2nd time and I was informed they had the wrong glass AGAIN! He then tried to insinuate it was my fault the wrong piece was ordered the first time. Unsure how that could be since I provided the correct make, model, trim and VIN #. Not only did they not fix it for the 2nd time, but no one ever bothered to call me and inform me my truck would not be fixed when I picked it up. I wasted my time + $50 in Uber fees to get back and forth to work. They wasted my time and money and I will not be returning.

These guys did a stand up job on replacing my windshield on my new car. Got hit with a rock in the corner and spread 24inches in less than 10 minutes.It took longer than I expected because they had to source an OEM windshield, but they were super kind and helpful in getting my car taken care of. We unfortunately had a bad experience with safelite. We have had our 2012 Toyota Sienna Van for 8 years and never had an issue with the Windshield cracking until in late April I accidentally cracked while trying to change the wiper blades. A safelite technician came out May 5th to replace and told us we had a lifetime warranty and to call if we had any issues. Since we’ve been under quarantine the Van has been in our Garage 95% of the time. Less than 3 weeks later on May 23rd our daughter noticed a crack in the windshield. It was at the bottom of the windshield and just assumed they had accidentally cracked when they installed since it’s been less than 3 weeks. I called safelite and was told over the phone a technician would come and replace the windshield no charge. A technician came out and claimed a tiny rock caused the damage (We honestly never heard or saw anything hit the windshield) and told us we would have to buy another windshield after only having the windshield less than 3 weeks. I called and talked to several other managers who said our technician had shared the photo our car windshield. One manager honestly told me this is common for a tiny rock to crack the windshield again? We’ve had our car for 8 years with no problems with windshield. It seems like there’s a problem with the glass manufacturer or how they are installed if a windshield can’t last more than a couple weeks under quarantine conditions. I’m trying to get my money back and we took the car somewhere else.

I was able to schedule a replacement windshield on the same day. They had a custom windshield Im stock for my vehicle which I thought may take a substantial amount of time to come it. The customer service while I waited was excellent. The waiting room had snacks and the service desk asked multiple times if I needed a beverage. Lastly the payment was seamless between Safelite and my insurance company. Would recommend.

I mean I dont understand the process through which they fix cracks, but they dont go away they just dont expand. I guess by that standard they are awesome. I just wish it were cheaper and that they could get to you quicker.Im sure they were busy but I had to leave and come back 3 days later for an appointment. Was low key scared my windshield would split in half while I waited. (It didnt, its fine).I do wish the process they use would remove the visible damage better, but at least its just a chip now rather than a giant crack slowly forming.Side note to the jerk in the black work truck dragging the empty trailer covered in cement powder and rocks that peppered my car on I-44 causing the damage: you suck. Literally watched the trailer hit a bump and spray a huge cloud of light grey dust and rocks that met the whole front if my car. Probably gained 3-4 small chips, 1 crack, and an undisclosed number of paint scratches/chips.

They were compassionate that I lived 45 minutes away and have no complaints to my predicament. I was able to get in ahead of my scheduled appointment. My windshield looked terrific and the staff was very accommodating. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars was they used my old, 24 year old molding and rubber that is deteriorating instead of coming to me and telling me about it and suggesting new molding. I thought that was a little sloppy. But it doesnt leak and it looks nice and for the price, you cant beat it.

OK...nothing wrong with the technical nature of our visit. Windshield glass changed well, lane changer thing recalibrated, the fellow who completed the transaction. He gave good instruction as to no car washes for 24 hours, tape can come off in 4 hours...etc. Super friendly fellow. I paid and told them we would get the car later.I gave them 3 stars because of the dismissive nature of the blonde haired girl at the front window. Do not know her name.I had to call back and ask about the pikepass to ensure it was saved or destroyed. The lady answering the phone was Kensey (sp?) (could have been the same blonde) was lazy and dishonest. I asked what had happened to the pikepass toll transponder. She put me on hold and then came back on the phone and told me that the transponder probably came off in pieces (I would imagine they might be designed that way so as to not be reused). To ensure it was destroyed I asked her if she could check to see if it was actually destroyed so that I can deactivate it to ensure no one else uses it (if it were not destroyed I would continue to use it).She came back on the phone and said she had it in her hand and it was in 6 or 7 pieces. OK. I then deactivated it. Went to the tag agency and got another one to use in its place.When I arrived later to get the car...the pikepass was reinstalled where it had been initially. It was in one piece. It was usable. My trip to the tag agency was a wasted trip.Yeah...and if it the same blonde as the initial drop off...she need customer facing training. How to be pleasant. How not to lie. How to actually take care of the customer. I am picturing Kensey putting me on hold, facebooking for two minutes, coming back on and giving me a line...twice.If not for her...they would have gotten 5 stars.

Upon arrival, there was only 1 gentleman waiting behind of me. They began service on my vehicle first followed by his. Somehow someway, the man BEHIND me left before I did. As well as 2 other customers. One man brought in a Semi and had his windshield replaced as well as a Chevy pickup truck having his rear window done also. My appointment was supposed to be at 1:00 and I did not leave until 3:47. I informed that someone put THE WRONG windshield in. But they never told me until they were finished. I could have at least been notified following the mistake. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend this particular Safelite to anyone. They couldnt put a windshield on my nephews toy truck. Dont waste your time bor money.

They give online quote and appts. They go over what can and cant be done, removing unreal expectations. They sell glass and windshield wipers as well as repair or replacement. My repair was guaranteed to get smaller, but ptevention for spreading was key. However I was fortunate that it was superficial enough to draw up smaller. Very Happy about that.

After obtaining an online estimate, I had additional questions. I called the local number. I have been on hold for 30 minutes, waiting for someone to come on the line. This is NOT acceptable customer service. Heres a thought: HIRE MORE PEOPLE. Other people reviewing Safelite have had the same complaint. Apparently, the local stores dont answer their phones; all calls are routed to a call center. When I did finally get to speak to someone, I will say she was very friendly and helpful and seemed to know what she was talking about.

I just tried to get a quote from Safelite. The phone quote service wouldnt recognize my vehicle.. After three attempts they connected me with a rep. She didnt know what she was doing. She had a hard time understanding that the glass was a single piece glued on that did not operate. There are several options available on this glass (heated, tint) that she never asked me to give the quote. The whole time Im thinking this girl is high. I asked if I could just talk to someone at the sore instead (who knows what theyre talking about) and she said no, they dont talk to the customers. While I, om the phone I get a price quote through their website and it is lower than the quote she gave me. She says that once I finalize that quote that I have to call them back and they go over my order and adjust the quote, Im assuming they increase it. No one there seems to know what theyre doing.

Lance was my tech today. He just left the house & he was fantastic. Very friendly even in the miserable heat. He finished up my SUV windshield replacement in about an hour, and even cleaned ALL other windows and vacuumed out my whole vehicle. I would definitely recommend & use again in the future!

I found a crack on my windshield on a drive out of town for memorial day weekend. My passenger watched the whole thing unfold including, discovering the crack and then proceeding to have the most contained panic infused hissy fit. I continued this fit periodically throughout the trip. I think she questions our friendship. Upon my return I started looking online for options to replace the windshield-specifically one that doesnt involve any human interaction. I found Safelite since I remembered their annoying jingle (excellent advertising strategy). They told me to go through my insurance. The entire process took a grand total of maybe 6 minutes of distracted scrolling while binge watching Netflix and eating my weight in sugary treats. A week later someone showed up to my place and replaced the windshield while I took a nap. It was a delightful experience. I had minimal human interaction. I didnt have to put on pants for a large portion of it and it cost me a teeny deductible. Now if only included free food, I would have reached a new level of joy.

Had a rock crack my windshield, took to them to fix to stop the spread. They told me that it didnt take, which I have never heard of. I now look at a crack every day that I drive, hopefully it doesnt start to spread. I spoke with another company, which said they are not all that they are cracked up to be. He said they should have had no problem fixing my problem, however now that they have done what they have done, he cant do anything to help it. I will never use them again!

The Safelite technician showed on time and was courteous. Unfortunately, while attempting to fix the chip on my windshield, he applied too much pressure and caused it to crack about 18 inches. Per Safelite policy, they will not replace the windshield they damaged.**response to Owners response**The $50.00 being applied to replace a $350 windshield, which was damaged beyond repair by your technician, is close to nothing. I dont understand why you have a liability waiver excusing your techs mistakes during his/her primary duty. If it doesnt happen that often, then why wont safelite absorb the cost for their failure?

They even transferred my former windshields PikePass onto the new one, an unexpected and welcomed act of kindness. I had my windshield replaced in 02/13. I had a new crack run the length of the windshield in 12/13. I made an appointment to check and see if it was covered by their warranty. I drove to the Metropolitan location, a technician came out to the vehicle, confirmed there was no impact and set up an appointment 2 weeks later (soonest available). I went in today to have it replaced, and now its not a warranty repair and their quote is the highest Ive found. Combined with the rude tech manager, Id recommend going anywhere else.

For some reason (I believe I had an aftermarket windshield) the window cracked during the repair. I called Safelite and because I was a repeat customer and my insurance company had done business with them for years, they replaced my windshield for free!! Not to mention they changed out my windshield wipers for free also!!! Great company, great people, couldnt have asked for a better experience. I will be a return customer. And now I dont have an aftermarket windshield. ;-)

Daniel came out right on time as scheduled and did his thing to put a new windshield in for us. I hung out with him to watch the entire R&R and he explained every detail of the process from beginning to end even informing me about the properties of what and how all the cleaners and sealants used worked. He knows his profession to a tee. Ask for Daniel if you can!

Over all they did a good job. There was a crack in my dash that was not there before. The problem was that since I was dropping the car off on the way to work and was in a hurry I took their suggestion of not doing the pre inspection and just signing the sheet. Obviously that was really stupid of me. I really think they should never suggest this. It is unprofessional and they know very well what this can lead to.
