Very impressed with this shop! I drove in from Kansas City, and my Hondas power steering pump had issues just as I got into town. I called a few places nearby but this was the shop that SAVED THE DAY! I was able to get back on the highway and make it back to KC that same evening thanks to their help. Felt like divine intervention!

Todd and Phil were so friendly. I stopped by because my ac wasn’t working and I wanted another estimate. He took a few minutes to look at it immediately and tested it. It was working before we left. This was after another car shop at told me I would need to pay $1300 for a new compressor. I highly recommend.

We have just recently discovered Todd and Downtown Auto Repair. Weve had one of our vehicles in there for 2 different things. Todd is the best around! His knowledge is unbelievable. He pretty much diagnosed our problems over the phone, and, yes, he was right! He explains the problem and what he needs to do before he does it. Hes good, fast, and doesnt charge an arm and a leg!!!!! If youre looking for an awesome mechanic, dont look any further and call Todd! You wont regret it!

I would certainly recommend this shop! I have been to many, many shops and most would just rip me off. However, this guy is very honest. My car would hardly start and I brought it to many shops and most would charge me as much as $600 for doing unnecessary things. I brought my car to Todd, and he just found out a very small problem of not having the wires securely attached to my engine. My car started very well. He is not the type of mechanic who would just charge you to fix unimportant things. After he fixed my car, he explained to me everything and I very well understood what was the problem. It was the first time I went to a mechanic and I understood everything crystal clear! Most mechanics would just hand me a $500 bill without attempting to explain or were very persuasive that they have done sophisticated stuff to fix my car but they didnt. More surprisingly, after my car was fixed, he called it even. I would certainly come back to this guy and would recommend to my friends.

Update: I’ve now been bringing all my vehicles here for 4+ years and it has been nothing but amazing. I have never had a bad experience and Todd is just super honest and helpful. Todd is amazing. He will tell you that something does NOT need to be repaired and he won’t upcharge parts or do other tricks to make a quick buck. He also does work on fancy cars without charging a minimum $300 like other places *cough* Mercedes dealership *cough*. I tell all of my friends to take their cars to Todd for maintenance.

Rarely will a person find a business, especially car repair, where you can be confident the business will provide consistently excellent service. Its a great feeling to be able to have such confidence in car repair. Downtown Auto (Todd) is hands-down the best.

My girlfriend and I took a trip to OKC recently and unfortunately had some unexpected car trouble, and swung by Downtown Auto Repair. Todd was very attentive and knowledgeable. He insured us that he could take care of a problem in a cost efficient and timely manner. He even recommended a nearby coffee and doughnut shop to pass the time. Within the 30 minutes he guaranteed a call, which we received and by the time we returned to the shop, the repair was complete and looked great. It was the best customer service Ive received from a mechanic shop. Todd treated us like we knew him forever. Would recommend to others.

Todd is one of the best techs Ive ever met. I worked for Swanson right on the same block and the men I worked for were far less ethical and moral then Todd is which is why he is still in business and they went belly up. He has helped me grow as a tech on many occasions and still pull codes on my 1994 buick that has the early OBD2 dtcs that are hard to pull without the expensive scanners. He hasnt once charged me anything to pull the codes regardless of my attempts to pay him. Class act all the way around. 5 stars, wish I could give more.
