This is the second vehicle I’ve had worked on at Olathe Ford Collision.Brad has helped me both times and I can’t imagine any place else doing any better of a job. I picked up my car on time it looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. I will never go anywhere else as long as he is there.5 Stars
My splash guard under the engine had come loose and was hanging down. When I took the Ford Edge in for an estimate, the service manager looked the situation over and ask if I had 10 minutes he could fix it. He fixed the guard and did not charge me. The manager was profession, knowledgeable and polite. You can bet I will go back to Olathe Ford for all my work on this car.
Thank you Brandon B. and Olathe Ford for taking control of the situation when I was backed into at the home improvement store. From dealing with the undercutting insurance company, to providing me with rental truck, and helping with switching the car seats in the cold since I had my boys with me, to the excellent repair to my work truck. You made the best of an unpleasant situation.I appreciate you.
My car was stolen in March, it was recovered in Jefferson City. I waited a long month for my car to get returned to me and when it did it was in horrible condition. Brad looked at my car and wrote up an estimate and took great care of me, gave me a loaner car since my insurance couldn’t, & I mean he really went above and beyond and I couldn’t be any happier with the way my car was returned to me the 2nd time around and it just looks perfect. Thank you Brad and to your team! It’s never easy when your cars been stolen.
I have used this body shop many times. The staff is super friendly and very courteous. I have had bumper work and paint work done here and some interior trim pieces replaced. They have done an excellent job. Even after the fact when I needed a couple of minor things fixed, they did it promptly on the spot and without any complaining to me. I highly recommend this place, and if you have an issue, please contact Mark and he will take care of it for you.
NOTE: I may choose to revise this review if I decide to return at a later date.I stopped by at the recommendation of my Service Adviser Kurt Eckert at Olathe Ford on 3/8/19 to have my Explorer looked at for some potential warranty work on the paint. To begin with, I admit that I arrived around the lunch hour. When I walked in the door I noticed that there was nobody at the front desk. Understood, they probably went to lunch. I heard a gentleman working at this desk just past the receptionist desk, surely he heard me walk in. Between my coughing and the door chime I assumed that he would acknowledge me at some level. After about 7 minutes I decided to peak back there and the man looked at me strangely. I started to say the reason why I was there when he interrupted with a WHAT?? I guess he was hard of hearing. I repeated my reason for visit and his reply was Well you are going to have to wait, I am with another customer and I am the only one here. Everyone else is at lunch.I totally get that. My bad for showing up at the wrong time. My problem is his inability to help could have been handled so much better. As soon as I walk in the door, have a sign on the front desk that indicates that the receptionist is at lunch. When you hear someone walk into your establishment, acknowledge them. Let them know you are busy with another customer and that you will assist them as soon as you can.I should have made an appointment in the first place. I am just not so sure I want to take my vehicle here to have it looked at given my experience.Sorry for the negative review but customer service is a lost art in todays world. My first experience with your establishment is now ingrained into my memory.
Was in and out of the shop in no time! Paint looks great and matches perfect!
Olathe Ford Body Shop recently repaired some damage to my car.The quality of their work was excellent - first class in all regards.Their staff was extremely helpful, courteous and professional in my dealings with them.
On Thursday, 3/30/17, I went to Olathe Ford Collision Center about an hour before closing to get an estimate for minor damage to the front underside of my car. Mark Hardman, Body Shop Manager, pleasantly greeted me and quickly performed the estimate. He shared the results (less than $100.00) with me and showed me the damage in his shop. He then personally installed some screws and repaired the damage and did NOT charge me anything. He is a great guy and his shop has done excellent work for me on other cars. If you need an excellent body shop—go to Olathe Ford Collision Center
I should have gone to CarStar. The work itself wasnt terrible, but Im not sure if its laziness, ineptitude or stupidity that makes the service at this place terrible. Im inclined to think its all three. My estimator was a bumbling idiot. The woman who answers the phone can never find your information when you call.My car was supposed to be done on Tuesday, then it was Wednesday, and they finally got it done on Thursday. Some guy named Mark is the greatest asset this business has. Ask for him if you absolutely have to get your car fixed here.Otherwise, go to CarStar. Seriously.
I was in Kansas City, Missouri visiting family and my 2013 Ford Escape was involved in a hit and run parking lot accident. The guilty parties insurance company was cut rate and did not have an estimator in the area for a few days. I took the process on myself, looked at reviews, and called Vince at Olathe Fords Body Shop.It was inconvenient to be out of town but I am sure glad Vince was in charge of my vehicles process, including but not limited to; handling the assignment with the insurance company directly next day, getting me in a rental car next day, started work immediately, insured my vehicle was fixed with quality, did not cut repair corners or cost per an insurance adjusters bottom line. Vince is the real deal. I trust Vince Smith. If you live in the area or surrounding areas and need a body shop, go to Vince.Thank You Vince.
Please save yourself the trouble of this place. They charge you for stuff that they dont fix. This is a safety issue and it equates to stealing. My vehicle was in for over a month when they told me it would be done in under two weeks. Every time I picked it up they had damaged it more(even the the new hood they put on). Took it back three times and they still couldnt get it right. Worst service experience I have ever had.
The staff was very nice. They made sure we got a good reliable vehicle that would last us a long time. The man who helped us was Chaz Broome he was very sweet and a good sales associate . He wasnt trying to have the sale focus on him trying to make a buck and he wasnt doing any lip stick on a pig sale. He was great and matched price for us and did a lot for us. I highly recommend this man if your looking for a new vehicle for you and your family.
DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They dont know what they are doing, or will make things up so they can create work and charge you more.I took my truck in to get looked at because of a rattling noise. They said it was because of my clutch (Apx. $1000), and they also found that my air pump had a problem (around $2000), and some other things. The total was around $3,000.I went somewhere else and the rattling was from my heat shield needing to be tied down and my clutch didnt have any problems. That costed me nothing to fix.The air pump is what pisses me off. It turned out that it was a signal misfire from moisture that caused a engine light to be turned on. They reset it and there has been no issues with it for the last few months after. The amazing thing is that if I needed to get my airpump replaced it would have only $400 (compared to the $2000 estimated by toyota). The total cost of my repair somewhere else... around $100 (and that was mostly for an oil change.)So by going somewhere else it saved me $2900 that it would have costed me to go here. If I could give a negative star for a rating I would, because the work that goes on here is either crooked or incompetent.
Always helpful
In bed with insurance companies, they dont look out for the every day person.
While the repairs took longer then expected (hence the dropped star), the door and panel replacement was done very well, and the paint match is not noticable at all.
Horrible I had a truck with 70k on it seize.$12,000 for new motorIm buying Dodge it would have been coveredOlathe ford is Horrible
