I was initially recommended this facility by a friend who rented a unit here. Almost immediately I regretted doing business with them. When I first called to gather all pertinent information about leasing the unit and determining costs associated with it, I was given one set of info. Upon arriving there a week later with my moving truck to unload, I was duped into leasing the unit on different(far more expensive) terms. It was last minute so I went ahead and accepted it considering I was moving back out of state. A week later the pandemic hits, I get furloughed form work like navy other and am financially struggling. This company delighted in assessing Kate fees to my account for attempting to pay my bill one day past the grace period. They refused to remove the fee even though I’m a new tenant, not working and there’s an international pandemic going on. They are money hungry, unprofessional and nit compassionate toward consumers as a whole. You can never get anyone on the phone at the location and if you ask to speak with a manager they tell you they’re all managers and there’s no resolve. The manager APRIL is a disgusting excuse for a “service” employee. She could care less about serving a consumer and resolving their concerns. Very ghetto. PLEASE RENT ELSEWHERE.

For the purpose, it served its purpose. The staff is great. I moved my things out on the 7th. My money was taken out on the 1st. Talked to a young man there and he advised me that since I paid for the month, I do not get any money back. I am extremely upset about that. $187 gone. I advise anyone to read the fine print, but this is not true. I do not recommend you go here unless you get an understanding upfront about moving out early. Im still not over this. The only reason I give it a 3 is because of the lady who first took care of me when I initially put my things in storage. She deserves a 5, but Im still not over not getting some of my money back.

Manager always has great customer service

I had a terrible experience renting a storage unit from this place and would NOT recommend them to anyone. Within the first week, a roof leak caused a puddle of water to damage some of my boxes—one of them full of electronics, which have been ruined.When I approached the counter to tell Anna, the staff member and ask for a refund, she immediately stated that they “don’t do refunds...like at all”. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, she handed me a pamphlet with a phone number to call some insurance place for a chance at possibly being reimbursed.Also, this place is supposed to be climate controlled and secure, but at times, they leave the back sliding door wide open (thus NOT requiring an access code). What a joke this storage facility is. You’re better off asking to store items in a neighbor’s garage.

I wanted to share my experience with SSS from yesterday. I was in a hurry but needed to make a payment so I stopped in. The young man, Matt, was very very busy but he handled everyones request quickly and was very polite. It is hard to get good customer service these days but Matt was above and beyond. Thanks!!

The new trainee Brenda was very helpful yesterday when I came in. I was in need of a unit due to stressful time to move out quickly and she was very helpful and understanding. So excited that my aunt recommended this place to me! Patricia was extra nice and helpful. I have had a 10x15 outdoor until with extra space for the past year, however with simply self storage I now have an indoor 10x15 climate control until and saving $50 a month! I highly recommend this place, you save money, secure access with cameras, referral program and great customer service!

April Cordova is very unprofessional and lacks any professionalism skills there are to obtain!! My mother opened an account for me a couple years ago and when it came down to me making the payments SSS gladly accepted! But not that an extremely fixated amount is lingering that I DO not owe has come about, now April refused to speak with me. I recently went to their establishment to get clarity on the balance due to collection giving me one amount and the letter giving me another, and after April attempted to redundantly explain to me the amount, which show high discrepancy, she refused to speak with me further and told me to call the collection. I did that prior to going to SSS, which I made her aware of this. Her exact words were, “She doesn’t have time to speak with me because I’m no longer a customer and she had current customers she had to help”!! I wouldn’t recommended this LOCATION, To anyone!! April gave me false information and told me I was charged for 3 months of storage. She informs me that I paid up a balance and became current on 11/26/17. That was the day I moved my belongings out of the storage! I did leave some things in there that I didn’t want knowing that it would be auctioned off! My remaining belonging were auctions off in January 2018!! As a reminder, they do NOT take the locks off the units until a balance is brought to current!! So if my balance was current on 11/26, meaning I’m paid up until November, belongings auctioned off in January, how the heck do I owe you $525.00 for a until that cost less that $90.00!?!?!That leaves December rent and January rent PARTIALLY!?!! Rip OFF!! There is a balance but it surely is not $525!! On top of April’s extreme lack of professionalism, and her slouching posture, which displayed she did NOT care, I ended the conversation with you have a great day!! AND I MEANT THAT!!!

Customer service is great. But rent goes up about every 3 to 6 months, sometimes by as much as $60. Area manager has some staff members working multiple stores at once some days so its hard to get in contact with someone in the office most of the time.

Coming in as a new customer was super easy and quick. Heather was not only knowledgeable but she was patient with questions and concerns. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

Rented a parking space for approximately 6 months and will never rent at this location again. Parking space was on dirt, loose gravel and mud. Not worth the $87 monthly rate. Facility is unsecure. Many large holes in fence, Including a huge gap in front of my parking space, Also about 3-4 spaces from mine, a tree branch fell onto a large section of fence and damaged fence enough that its easy enough to jump over. The tree branch also damaged some peoples RV camper (hope they have renters insurance). The fence is still damaged after 2 months. Felt forced into paying an entire month, even though I moved out on the 1st day of the month. They wouldnt even offer a pro-rate or a refund for the time I wont be using it. So Im paying $87 for a muddy unpaved parking spot that I wont even be using. It also seems that they raise rates without notice and usually by $2-5 dollars. Staff always seems annoyed with customer service and they are very confrontational. Ive only had one positive Interaction with the staff and thats because we had a common friend. it looks as though none of the employees care about property maintanence. Trash litters the lot and I have witnessed more than one employee speed around, playing on the golf cart. the facility layout does have a couple of very awkward turns especially for larger vehicles so no one should be speeding. Simply Safe does have other facilities that are better kept with friendlier staff and are actually secure but this place is at the bottom of the list. I might store with Simply safe in the future but not at this location.
